  1. I rarely post on the forums but I had to again. I just canceled my sub because of this "event". This is just to much of a slap in the face from the developers. I am not going to play everything that I already did all over again. On the plus side: What I learned from this this time around is to not buy a six month recurring subscription again.
  2. My DS characters would like nothing more than to destroy Zakuul. They stole 5 years from them and their respective lives. They would most likely turn Zakuul into a second Taris. Bomb it back into the stone age. Kill Arcann and maybe keep Vaylinn if it is my DS Sith Warrior. He likes crazy women. Jaessa and Vaylinn on the same ship. I would pay to see what happens. My light side characters however just want to bring Arcann and Vaylinn to justice and restore peace and order in the galaxy.
  3. I am not sure HK-55 is worth that much CC. No companion conversations like with HK-51. If they added more repeatable interactions with them then that would be worth some money.
  4. Signed. I would like to see a Rishi Stronghold. My top five wishlist for new Strongholds: 1. Odessen (similar to Yavin 4 please with lots of outdoors decoration options) 2. Manaan (underwater ; it should have two underwater floors and two above the water) 3. Rishi (tropical island ) 4. Rakata Prime (same as Rishi) 5. Tython (similar to Yavin 4 please)
  5. I agree. They need to be placeable in a Medium Hook as well as a Medium Narrow Hook. The Large Hook makes absolutely no sense for these small decorations and i surely won't waste any more credits as well as data crystals on these decorations because I won't be wasting perfectly good Large Hooks for these small decorations.
  6. I really like the idea of day/night cycles. If BW doesn't want it on the actual planets because of story reasons I can understand that but Strongholds are completely different. A day and night cycle in my strongholds would be awesome. Even weather effects would add to the atmosphere. Think about all the cool lights that we have as decorations. I would love to see my strongholds during nighttime and how my choice in lighting the strongholds reflects during night time.
  7. At first I didn't like Level Sync but now I have come to appreciate it a lot. I recently started a new Jedi Knight playthrough and level sync is actually saving the experience for me. I played that class before but these days we get an insane amount of XP for completing quests. I am already level 55 and just arrived on Balmorra with that character. Just think how that would go down without level sync. Level 55 and questing on Balmorra. No level sync = boring. There is not a lot of challenge left anyway in the game. I like being powerful but an off-toggle for level sync would be an instant "i-win-button". No need to learn your class, rotation and how to deal with tougher enemies. I know that even with level sync there is hardly a challenge left. So leave level sync alone. We know how BW operates. They nuke things into oblivion and considering how easy it already is with level sync I don't want it to become even easier. Just my two cents on the subject.
  8. Will the old planets get a new map for those who started the new expansion? The Republic and the Empire are supposed to have fallen. It would be highly immersion breaking if the old worlds for example Coruscant and Dromund Kaas still look untouched by the war. Will we be able to get all of our companions back? Even though I don't like some of them I grew very attached to them and I don't want to loose any of them. Loosing some for good without having a choice in the matter would be a big turn off from the game for me.
  9. I am not surprised at all that The Progenitor finally died. I hope they fix this for good. I had horrendous lag issues on The Progenitor for quite some time. Let's just hope that after they have fixed it that it finally runs in a stable manner.
  10. I actually liked that a lot. It showed some attention to detail and that they took their work serious and were proud of it. It also made the whole thing feel important which it became of me. I can sit hours upon hours in my stronghold decorating it and searching the GTN for new decorations. If they had done just a little bit more with Rise of the Emperor to make it on par with Shadow of Revan than I wouldn't be so disappointed. The only things I didn't like in Shadow of Revan were Kai Zayken (spelling?) and that there were no cinematics for the side quests. The latter carried over to Rise of the Emperor which is a shame considering that cinematic storytelling is the saving grace for swtor in my humble opinion. But I got past that and didn't mention it.
  11. This whole thing is just so disappointing because Rise of the Emperor is one of the two large story updates that we get this year. I just hope that Fallen Empire is bigger than Rise of the Hutt Cartel.
  12. Hi everyone, this is just my own personal opinion. I dare not speak for anyone else. Massive spoilers. Read at your own risk. I was genuinely excited for this. It was free and it was meant as a conclusion to the Shadow of Revan cliffhanger. So I started up swtor and the first thing that I noticed was that it still had the SoR loading screen which actually disappointed me right then and there. Rise of the Hutt Cartel, Galactic Starfighter (free update), Galactic Strongholds (free update) and Shadow of Revan all had their own loading screens and lets not forget the beautiful original loading screen that came with the release of the game. It was right there that I began to have a "very bad feeling about this". My first character that I choose to do the new story with was my Sith Assassin. It started OK. Nothing really bad. Well not until I played my Jedi Shadow next and noticed little to no difference in anything other then the Republic double agent. Just a carbon copy of sorts. I already felt disillusioned. Then out of nowhere comes this sixth line of Jedi soldiers. They are not lore-friendly when it comes to the Jedi. Because of the lack of any kind of back story for them I failed to feel any emotional attachment for them on either my Jedi or Sith characters. Ziost: While it was beautifully created and looked amazing even if it was too small I couldn't feel any real emotional attachment to it and its inhabitants either. This was the first time the planet was introduced and I hadn't had any prior visits to it or heard of it in the game. So it left me cold. The quests tried to convince me of the urgency to get everyone to safety from the emperor but it never shone threw for me. I was literally bored while questing and even during the cutscenes. Was this the same Bioware that made me cry like a little baby when the Reapers in Mass Effect 3 took over the Asari homeworld? Not to mention that I didn't like the Asari very much it had a profound emotional impact on me personally. So much so that I actually felt depressed for a little while. Nothing of sorts here. It wasn't really helping that the story flow was constantly interrupted with the quick travels back to the orbital station which weren't even mentioned in the cutscenes. A cutscene ended and I had no idea where to got next. Nothing was mentioned in the dialogue. Then I saw the quick travel option in the mission tracker and thought. Again? Ugh! Finally we had a plan to stop the emperor and go to the people's tower. I let myself feel a bit excited again. This was it. The story finally picked up. I did all the sidequests there and then headed into my story phase. When I faced Master Surro who was possessed by the emperor at the end and defeated her I couldn't care less what happened to her. I didn't know her or even of her before the story line began. There was it again. No emotional impact what so ever concerning her fate. As a Jedi I felt obligated to choose the Light Side option and as a Sith I had a bit more freedom of choosing pragmatism or just killing her for the fun of it. I still felt nothing for the sixth line commander. I know that Bioware released blog posts on the website for the sixth line but I am old fashioned on this. Lore and story content should be in the game only and as a player I shouldn't be required to leave the game and go read an article on the main site. Just my personal opinion. So I was told to go back to the orbital station and click a console again. I did so and got an error message. The quest didn't conclude. This is strange I thought. Is this a bug? Then I read on the forum that it was a staggered release. I don't mind a staggered release at all. I applaud the innovation for the game actually but it could have been made better. Let the quest conclude and give us mail from either Theron or Lana telling us that they will contact us later about the status of the emperor or something along those lines. As it were it felt like a bug. I finally saw the conclusion today. What a letdown. Granted they said ending cinematics but a one week wait for 5 minutes showing our failure to stop the emperor? I like bad endings and am sick of happy endings all the time but in my opinion this little bit didn't warrant a 7 day wait. OK now. Ziost is a dead planet. I get it. No lifeforms left at all. I was expecting a bit more story after that and exploring the dead planet. But what did we get? A rightfully lifeless daily area. No exploration of ancient Sith temples as I have hoped. No new sith lore. Nothing but a few dailies. All in all it was great to be given this much for free from the developers. And thank you for that. I just wish it had more of the Bioware quality to detail of the little things and so much more that I came to expect thanks to the great Mass Effect games and KOTOR. Well that was my opinion and review of SWTOR: Rise of the Emperor.
  13. As the title says. It could include 5 random decorations from the stronghold and shadow packs. They don't have to be 5 unique decorations but it could end up being more of the same kind. Luck of the draw so to speak. It would sell great. Perhaps 125cc to 250cc per pack. You could also add a hypercrate of those Decoration Packs.
