  1. They need to reduce the duration at least. It's almost as bad as cloak of pain on duration. There's no counter play where you don't touch the jugg until the defensive drops because it lasts for 30 seconds.

  3. Because it would be accompanied with a nerf to many of our abilities. We like a high skill cap in our damage. We like being able to burst when we want at sacrifice of our damage, and to maintain a tight gap between dealing lots of sustained damage and doing burst. Heals are screwed though. Its resource return on rapid scan is pathetic in comparison what it should've been.

What's your rational cash, other than that you think you're a better player than me and that you also think you're better at min maxing? 2% chance to miss on warriors/troopers/operatives is kinda hard to notice but it is noticable. It's not enough to "cause you any issues" but it's not called optimal gearing. You dislike alacrity personally but I explained the benefit. It also reduces the time people have to pushback and interrupt you. So, why do you hate alacrity? Other than it's your personal preference. You dislike any crit, but we have surge talents, and you don't even understand diminishing returns. You don't realize that the aim curve is seperate from the crit curve. it is a damage upgrade to have some crit, but you take anecdotal evidence as well as your own "gut feeling" over theory, math and practice. Face it Cash, we may have elected you to be the PVP representative, but that wasn't because you were good at gearing. Or that you were the best pvp mercenary on Pot5.
  5. Considering or surge talents, as well as how heat dissipation works well with alacrity, he only got a portion of the answer right. Get one enhancement with accuracy, enough to get you 95% accuracy, which is 105 for special attacks which will ensure your rail shots and unload won't miss on troopers, warriors and operatives, unless you are debuffed or they have a defensive popped. Go with either 218 alacrity or two enhancement 1xxx alacrity and then put the rest into surge. Aim for 150-250 crit rating. Rest should go into power and aim. This is for PvP. Pve, based on our internal Cd, go for 110% accuracy then rest surge. The more stats you have the more crit is worth. So you can can even bring it up to 350 crit rating. Otherwise the stats go into aim and power. If you don't want a brain dead rotation you can add some alacrity though. Is actually trickier. They need to make alacrity reduce cooldowns as well. Internal too. Also for PvP, two piece combat medic and two piece eliminator well give you the most survivability and kiting in Arsenal.
  6. I was under the impression that cgs could only be placed on one enemy at a time as a mercenary.
  7. Just because you only play Arsenal you only see one aspect of the ability. Unlike arsenal the other specs don't get 33% uptime. Heals and Pyro have 24% and 20% uptime respectively. Arsenal can actually get 40% uptime. Which is literally twice the uptime Pyro can get with out gimping themselves. The other specs versions are weak in comparison to arsenal and other classes movement speed abilities.
  8. Forgot to add. Stealthscan should root stealthies that it unstealthes as a baseline talent for all bounty hunters/troopers.
  9. My following Suggestions are neutral for pve, but address many of our issues for pvp. Heal Spec, Grant immunity from interrupts to healing scan. That would give them uninterruptible heals during the duration of supercharged gas cylinder. Unlink the Bodyguard talent and peacekeeper talent. Lower Critical efficiency to a two point talent, to better reflect what the ability does. It was a 3 point talent when it reduced rapid scan heat by 16. With only 8, it's stupid that it's so much worse than Terminal Velocity. Grant Hydraulic overrides a 2 second unstoppable buff. Delink immunity to interrupt from energy shield in heal spec. Remove pushback from Bodyguard healing. Increase cast alacrity for Bodyguard healers. For Arsenal Hydraulic overrides should give you a charge of powersurge, or they should get a 12 second cd, that once wears off, will make their next tracer missile instant. Or allow missile blast to proc the same abilities that tracer missile does, like tracer lock, and the heat signature and reset unload. Remove pushback completely with the pushback resistance abilities. Redesign Chaff flare, so that it either last longer, or it can absorb more than one ability. Heat management is easy on this class. For Pyrotech Grant them dot protection in a fashion. Let missile blast also have a chance to reset railshot, and do many of the things powershot does. Let the dot from combustible gas cylinder be put on multiple people. Pretty mobile spec, with decent sustained damage, but not enough burst. Even delayed burst.

Bioware is really putting powertechs through the commando/mercenary treatment. Each patch powertech's think their class can not get worse, when it does. 2. If the RNG gods align, we can be one shot by a Boss mechanic, and there is nothing we can do. Us assassin tanks are getting the Commando/Mercenary treatment. 3. Because of Bioware's consistent use of the commando/mercenary treatment one will find a lack of commandos and mercenaries queing for the 4 v 4 ranked arenas.
