The reason why the orange outline gear isnt legacy based anymore is cause all gear is legacy based now.., Im not sure if all gear below level 75 was made legacy wide too, but all new gear in the game is now legacy wide, theres no non legacy gear

Do all weekly missions give you equipment boxes or just the new onderon weekly? because the activities tab doesnt show that section X ect gives you an equipment box

I dont really agree with statement, Some of the older operations are really open to casuals, and if you find the right guild, they run alot of non commitment open ops nights that you can just turn up too if you wanna along side committed progression teams. Most ops can be done under 2 hours, so if casual players really wanted to try one, their easily accessible as I dont believe casual means only have an hour or so to play a few days a week. If that was what casuals are this game would be dead along time ago, and its not, and its not dying anytime soon

So why arnt people who do nightmare ops allowed to be awarded with something expensive. Nightmare mode Gods of The Machine isnt an easy operation and thus you should get something from it that you cant get anywhere else, because thats what makes it worth working towards. Its not like the completely locked you out from 258 set bonus because you cou;ld get them from ossus

in 6.0 completeing guild and personla conquest goal will give you gear

Well tbh they may not have advertised outside the game or to non players, but the op is posting on the forums, which he's a sub, there's been plenty of livestream by swtor itself as well as the announcement itself detailing what's coming, even on there facebook page they have released new photos of the planets, FP and ops, so they has been a ton of info just no trailer. Even the influencers like vullk and kidlee have reported these things

This expansion has 2 new planets, a new op and a new flashpoint, asides from missing an FP this story sounds like it should be the same size as the shadow of Devan expect that had 2 planets too I expect that mek-sha and inderon to have atleast a few hours of story missions if you do no side quests each like shadow of revan did

Im happy if they disincentivitise solo play, this is an MMO, you solo players got 2 full expansions of solo stuff, Its the MMO portions chance now and thus the gearing system should reward those who play group content more than those who play solo.

Hav you ever considered the reason why they are going to be unusable is because they properly wont fit into the new balancing? Youll ask for this, things wont balance properly and then youll complain again like always. Yes they want to make the "play your way" moral but they cant give everyone, every way they want it, game design just doesnt work like that unfortunately

So heres my taste of doing 1 hammer station run and the kinda gear I got from it/ First Boss: got 2 upgrades, a relic and a implant upgrade! I was happy with this also got 2 other items which were not for the dicipline! But I assume my 2 upgrades were for my personal loot whilst the others were loot that would be rolled for (im soloing hammer station) Second Boss: From this boss I had another 2 upgrades for my spec, boots and an ear piece Third Boss:I got a few upgrades including a set piece, Preserver set. this made me really happy! One run of hammer station I got 5 upgrades plus a 290 tech fragments. I was playing a sith juggernaught and I was quite happy.

It seems to be that they are having ops sync you down so that its difficult or levelent to that level maybe? Cause effectively if your level synced down to 50 for lets say EV, your stats will be capped and there for it might be that it still forces you to play mechanics perfectly again? I wonder if thats their thinking, Im not sure if itll go that way, but it might do
