  1. A cross server dungeon finder is definitely NOT "standard functionality."
  2. I went back and did Foundry yesterday to help a guildee out and grabbed the quest before i went in, I was kinda stoked to actually get something out of it when I didn't expect to, It's just dissappointing when I get all excited about being able to do the quest again only for it to "reward" me with 5XP. The bottom line is that the 4 level "you get nothing" gap doesn't make much sense, and from that standpoint, yes we're on the same page.
  3. I would be all for a same-server LFD system, just not cross-server.
  4. My green missions right now are Cademimu and Mandalorian Raiders (If I'm remembering right). Not even going to waste my time in MR, I know I won't get anything from it, the bosses in Cade might still give me XP but not the normal mobs. It never fails though, whenever I have gone back and done a flashpoint for a second time upon completion I get the "mission complete" popup and the reward is 5XP. It may just be because when I go back I tend to be 2-4 levels higher than when I first ran it. I haven't ran the same flashpoint twice within the same level before, I'll test that tonight, but as I said before why make the missions repeatable if you basically get nothing when you're done? I know you get to redo the bonus quest and you get a couple thousand XP for that if you do it, but that seems to be the only thing that makes doing lower flashpoints remotely worth it besides the possibility of gear. (But 8K for a bonus mission essentially doesn't mean anything either when you're higher level and it takes 300K+ XP to level.) EDIT: My green dailies from the box on the fleet at 42 were definitely Boarding Party and Foundry, Not Cade and MR. Still only got 5XP for Foundry at the time when it was the higher of the two.
  5. I definitely don't wait around when I can't find a group. But It's pretty ridiculous when I get 5XP from doing Black Talon/Esseles for the second time when I'm only level 15 and it's a 10ish flashpoint. (I know I could go do Hammer Station at 15, but that's not the point) Trust me, I'm not talking about being level 50 and wondering why BT gives me no XP. I did Foundry at level 42, I believe it's about a level 38 flashpoint, Why does a measly 4 level gap mean that I get practically nothing from it except XP from killing mobs? I The mobs weren't grey, in which case I would understand, and the bosses were still a pretty decent challenge, it's not like we ran through the place and powered through it in 20 minutes.
  6. The only problem with skipping flashpoints is that when you go back and do the quest when you're higher level you get something like 5XP for completing the quest when you're done. This may just be after you already ran said flashpoint, but if you're only gonna get 5XP for it, what's the point of making it a daily quest? Just to be able to do the bonus mission again?
  7. I'm an officer for what is probably the most successful Imperial guild on my server so far (not gloating, using it to make a point), and even then finding a group for flashpoints is pretty difficult. We have 290ish members and 1-50 level range but it just seems like nobody wants to do flashpoints, for the most part, on the server as a whole.. As an example, I sat in the fleet for an hour and a half to find a group for The Foundry, I flew to planets with the same level range and asked in their general chats and still practically no interest. Guildmates don't usually want to do it, either. I've given up trying to find a group for The Red Reaper and groups for Colicoid War Game are few and far between to say the least. The only constant groups I see are for Black Talon/Esseles, Hammer Station, and Athiss. Then we get some for Mandalorian Raiders, Then people get to Cademimu and can't find a group for their life and they give up after that. This is just my experience on my server, however. Anyone else on a server with lazy/unwilling/unsocial (whatever word you want to use) players when it comes to flashpoints?
  8. I don't believe it's in Asia, you're right. Personally, I don't miss WoW at all. Heck, I couldn't even play WoW at all anymore after my first trip to ToR beta in early November. (I had an 85 with around 24 days played and raided and all that jazz, so it's not like I never played WoW to it's full potential i.e. endgame) But playing this game in it's BETA stage made WoW completely unenjoyable for me, It kinda shocked me a little bit with how much I absolutely could not go back to WoW after all the countless hours I put into my main alone, not to mention my 9 alts. Cancelled my account 2 weeks before ToR launch, and I still have no desire to play again.
  9. There are definitely not 11 Million people playing WoW. That's how many accounts they have set up, and they don't remove deactivated accounts from the equation. They get to prance around and boast about their "11 million players" and put that sticker on the box by default because most people don't know any better and take their word for it. I'm not really going anywhere with this, just making a point. On another note, I can't believe how many people DON'T know what concurrent means AND THEN proceed to talk about it like it's their day job. I've seen people talking about how this game is already dying because it only has "350K concurrent players and WoW has 11 million." Illiterate people make me want to drive an ice pick through my retina.
  10. Only had that problem in beta. Never had anything remotely close to it since release.
