  1. lol, what are you like and yes you did get my hopes up.
  2. Thank you for saying this, because I think that the Merc is about where it needs to be. Given space any Merc as far as I am concerned can wreck and with good heals or a dedicated healer for sure that Merc is going to wreck most of you in the PVP environment, but any class given space can wreck, can't they. Before though you had to do so much to compete being a Merc, so around 18 months ago, which led to headache after headache as you tried to compete. Even now, you still have to work that little bit more then the other classes to get the best out of your Merc, that is why I play the Merc as my main character, purely because it is a genuine challenge and not what I call one of the easy smash and grab classes, like say a Marauder or Sniper with their press 2 buttons and that is it scenario, which is the impression I get of those 2 specific classes. The same applies to Sentinal and Gunslingers, easier classes for the easier minded individuals of TOR. With the Merc you have to use every single button you have to your disposal to try and do what you need to do. The Merc is not for noobs in PVP, that is for sure and takes a lot of work to get to the level some of the so called easier classes as I call them are at. I do not regard myself as a noob by the way in PVP on my Merc , but it is to me the most difficult class to be in PVP over all others, perhaps the PT may be its nearest rival for difficult to master. It requires more than 1 or 2 buttons to be pressed to wreck. But once you can master them as much as you can, they are a joy to play, they really are. Some Mercs and PT's in this game are seriously good, but that is not across the board. Less good Mercs than good Marauders, Sorcs, Jugg's, etc, etc. So for many people to say the Merc is completely overpowered, perhaps should go and try the Merc themselves to see that it is to me the most difficult class to master in phew phew. I do not know about the Commando?, I will assume they are equally as difficult to master, but I say this, bar Zachariah and one other Pub Mando whose name I forget, in general the Commando does not frighten me in the slightest and in my experience are quite simple to dispatch .
  3. A little bit, but they are obviously the no brainer classes to be at the moment. Again, only a handful are truly good with their Juggernauts and Sorcs, the rest latch on to a good group which makes them look good. But I have noticed in some WZS the opposition will be full of Assassins, Mara/Juggernauts and of course the deadly Sorc healers. Not really bothered about it, I would just like to see better Q matching system and nerfing of those pre-made groups. That will to me help a lot.

For a little guy, you really do talk a load of poop, don't you. I support what this chap is saying. PVP needs changes that are agreeable for all involved, even you little man. At the moment it is one sided grouping, heals city which does not show high acumen when everyone is being healed the the rafters. But ultimately, nerfing Pre-mades is the way forward to helping rectify some of the PVP issues. From 4 to 2, would to me make a massive difference and possibly mean more even groups and more even fighting. What does one get out of crushing the opposition?. Nothing, so we mashed a group that was not good as ours, big deal, and?. What benefit does the side getting crushed get out of PVP?. None at all other than to think why bother. So it does have issues, and I hope that they do something about it to make it more even playing field for all those who PVP, even you little man. I know you Americans in specific need and want an easy life, we all know this, but reality time and reality check, life is a little harder in the real world and we do not all get what we want, even you little guy. Do not dig at him or others with genuine concerns for leaving an honest comment. It shows what a bell end you are.
  5. Yeah, but what you forget geezer is that most of you have no idea what the hell you are doing most of the time in this game, especially in PVP and then you have those people in pre-mades who think they are good because they have heals protecting them and guards and such, but reality of the matter is they are bollocks like most of you at this game, bar a few who know who I am talking about. So when you come up against say a solo uber player, who is efficient and knows what he or she is doing, and most of you piss about not knowing what you are doing, then expect a rant, period. If you do not like that, then simply do not play PVP, it is that blunt and simple geezer. You think he can av a rant like I can at you?. No, I will show you what a rant is mate, if you want, haha. I like a good rant now and again, not because of a loss, but because of some of the idiotic things people constantly do in PVP matches which are seriously lamer and brain-dead decisions. From just not working as a team right through to no strategy, just run around aimlessly. Which then leads to a bum bashing, all because most sides just like to run around with no heads. Oh by the way, Shifted guild your pre-made vs mine, sorry no match. I proved that 2 weeks ago before I had to go away on business and deal with real life, you do know what real life is yes Shifted?. I am going to prove it again because I think you hide behind loads of people for protection, and I will tag any guild who I think uses hard protection because most are unable to solo and are if I am being blunt again, inept at PVP in solo form. What I am saying is, your rubbish. On your own, bar a few respectable individuals you have in that guild, you are weak solo and rely too heavily on your pre-mades. What was it, my last war zone a few weeks back, Shifted all over me like a fly on a turd, but unfortunately for them, I have my lads with me, so your over 1m damage on me was futile, as I have one of the best pre 65 healers that I group with, lol. So not only did we own you in that match, but I took 1m damage and dealt 1.5m damage. You had nothing to say about that did ya?. You only have something to say, like most of you, when I am solo pvping, because you all gang up thinking you can intimidate, ha ha. Na, nothing can intimidate me . I can intimidate you though obviously, because when I am owing you lot, all of a sudden your mouths have all of a sudden tightly shut up. Strange a?. I can categorically say this, that bar a few guilds, they know who they are who I respect in my own way, but the rest patch over their inefficiencies with specific groups to cover over their inept PVP skills. Have a nice day, and how is that for a rant sir. Kind regards Fat'Edd
  6. I think certainly on the solo Q it would be quick, but I find that it is quick anyway already when I Q. A bit slow at certain times of day which you would expect, but other than that, no it Q's quite quickly. I do not know whether a pre-made Q system would speed up for them though, if anything, they may end up going into matches much slower than solo. But that could sort the issue out of pre-mades when you think about it?. If they have a pre-made Q and they are having to wait to go into a match, then eventually they would solo Q my guess is, which means us solo players or those of us who mainly solo Q would be in 8v8 almost all of the time and with no pre-mades we end up with much more even match ups. I dunno, I mean they know it is an issue and they must be working on something to rectify it. I mean we all still PVP regardless of what the situation is, but we would also like a few changes made, nothing major, just something to even the odds a bit more. Cheers Fat
  7. I dunno, I mean I have recently come back after 2 and a half year odd out myself, and I have found the BH to be much more agreeable in PVP. What is baffling me though, is that people have been raving on about PT's being really awesome in PVP?. But if I am honest, I have not seen this awesomeness in the PT's?. Sure those who are the highest end PVPers are good with any class, but in general, not seeing how a PT is that awesome. Snipers seem that little bit easier to take out with a BH. That has to be an improvement, because the Sniper seemed quite overpowered at some stage. But what I really have noticed is that DPS Jugs seem to just own everything. A good one that is, not the wannabe's, but the good ones are seriously to be avoided. I love how the Operative Healer is now. Before I struggled, I still do struggle to a certain extent, but little improvements make it a joy and fun to play. Respect to you for solo Q by the way. It is what I mostly do myself, occasionally I will join in with another 1 person in a group, but that is very rarely as I see pre-mades the 4 man pre-mades as a bit of a spoiler in PVP and if I am honest, are not really proving anything by wrecking in 4 man groups I am afraid to say. Like I have always said, get most people in this game on their own, note most in a 1v1 and they are not that great, is my experience. We all know who the best are, so we try to avoid those individuals in a 1v1, haha. But those type of individuals are only in selected high end PVP guilds, mainly Death Smile who still dominate the arena and good on them. Cheers Fat
  8. I agree with you to a certain extent, I really do, but there is nothing worse than coming up against a full pre-made when you are in a group that is missing 2-3 players. It does not matter how it is dressed up, it can be so one sided it does not matter who you are or how good you are, with 2-3 players down vs a full team of 8, and in that 8 is a pre-made is quite frankly unfair, period. I will also add, that if it is one sided, I will leave, not because of the poor souls in our group unable to compete, just out of defiance for the poor queuing system. I think they should limit a group in regular warzones to just 2, being honest with you. This would mean that those who would normally stomp everything with their 4 man pre-made would possibly have to fight each other, which means a more even grouping up system, and probably even numbers in each side, possibly. It would also to me prove that most in 4 man pre-mades are overrated and unable to compete at the level they think they can. Granted Death Smile do not require 4 man pre-mades to stomp you, they are just genuinely the dogs at pvp. But the rest, I am sorry, once you get them out of their pre-mades are just regular and most simple to kill. So yes, 4 man pre-mades unfortunately spoil pvp. I understand a full pre-made in Ranked, not doubting that, but in regulars, something could be done to curb the one sided matches. It kills the pvp sometimes and is not fun when you are up against a full 8 vs 5 or something. Where is the fun and fairness in that?. None at all. Although if you have high end healer with you, you can wreck an 8 man squad by yourself , as the opposition well learned last night that if I have my healer with me, then watch your backs. That is my pre-made just a high end healer, is all you need. I get what you are saying though mate, and you are obviously not concerned if you get your anal handed to you with men down in your group. For newer players, that can only be a put off can't it?. Now before one of my numerous idiotic enemies starts on me, I will give you an example. Last night, can not remember the guilds name, but they had their 4 man pre-made, which I ended up in with my mate, and we did pretty well, however, the opposition was a rarely even match up. I took 963k damage and managed 1.4m damage, only because I had my healer with me and was in an agreeable group, nothing else. Now I had the opposition side on me throughout all 8 of them, and if it was not for my healing friend who I will add is one of the best in the game as far as I am concerned, I would not have done that damage, period. Now if I had been on the opposition, without that healer with me keeping me up, I would not have even broke 400k damage probably. But all I had was 1 in my group, and because that healer is able to keep me alive regardless of who is on me and how many, it allows me to wreck. Now that is an example of being in the right group, isn't it?. Without certain people with me, I will get crushed. So having the right people in your group, regardless of who you are, helps and the groups can be so one sided it is more agreeable to leave out of defiance more than anything. It has to me nothing to do with the poor people in that group being crushed. Not their fault, but it is the AI not recognizing how to match up more evenly. Nice comment though and an honest opinion from you. I respect that. What I do not respect though are 4 man pre-mades. Bar Death Smile, other pre-mades are only masking their inability to solo PVP as far as I am concerned. I have proved that time and time again. I think they could possibly rectify the problem by limiting a group to 2 people, instead of 4 in regular warzones. That makes it more competitive and possibly more evenly matched. But the AI is not the brightest of AI when matching up teams. Still, it is nice when you have a top class healer with you, and the opposition obsessed with primary 1, get utterly smashed . Love that, lol. Cheers Fat'Edd
  9. So does this mean that PvP for Fat becomes completely impossible, instead of impossible again yeah?. Moved on from that, now it is Shifted Guild who are the enemy, just because I need to have this to keep me on my toes and they was in the way at the time, so eh. With the right group which is rarely when you are solo, they can be tamed, easily . How you doing then Khak?, and is Rishy the chap who has my original name of Fatedd?. I have to have Fat'Edd now, ha ha. But I do still maintain the same old armor from years ago, just upgraded mods. Fat is also Fat and blue, so stands out . Secret weapon is I do have people who are not in guilds one can group with, if need be and if I am severely backed in a corner, so every-time I enter PvP. Can not help the fantastic name I have for myself a,lol . I hear the PT is the dogs now in PvP?. I have not seen this thus far, meaning I have not come across one with this massive DPS they now have?. I am sure a Death Smile member would dispatch me in a second on one of their PT's, but yet to see the major difference in the rest, so the regular PTs?. I have a 55 PT, but any idea on a fit specially for PvP damage would be interesting?. A few have suggested with my in your face play that perhaps it is time to fully learn my PT?. But I am struggling to see the major benefit of them, unless you can advise?. Cheers and hope all is good. Fat
  10. Improved sure the BH, but the games Q system mechanics are still to be desired and if I am honest, need work on to stop one sided matches. You have these pre-mades that still dominate and basically kill of the competition in PVP. It is not fun, and those people in a group that are missing a few people from the start, but vs a pre-made and a full 8, is happening way to much and needs sorting. One solution would be to limit a group in PVP to only 2 in a group. This would mean more even PVP perhaps, and less of the steamrolling vs groups with people missing from the start. Because the games mechanics in PVP are still needing work, you can find yourself solo Queuing and going up against the same pre-mades relentlessly, even though many people are queuing up. That suggests a non intelligent AI system that can not work out how to get the groups right. So we end up with 1 sided matches, which suck whether you are on the better side or not. I prefer even match ups, not steamrolling, even if I have been steamrolling with good groups, it is unacceptable still and does not gauge the level of individuals really, does it?. I would have thought that after 2 years they may have rectified that issue?. The other issue with Q system as a solo, is you can be in a group with just 3 others, vs a full 8 person group on the opposition. It sux and the PVP is simply not even. This happens way too often, almost every match I have been in. It kills the confidence of the people in that team, knowing we will lose, not always down to a lack of skill, but because we are 3 or 4 people down from the start, vs pre-mades is a bit ya know, crappy. You are either in a great group or in a group that is missing people vs full pre-mades unfortunately remains this games bug barer in PVP, and until they sort that out, it is not going to attract new players to the game. Please sort it out GM's, so many people are fed up with the one sided matches. Limit PVP groups to 2 in regular PVP. That would probably deal with the one sided matches.
  11. Well, solo is never good for me at certain times of day, regardless of how much improved the Merc is, ha ha. The group stuff like I say, unless ranked, I just think groups are an easy option. At the best of times I am hostile as you know due to zero trust for any TOR gamer other than Azamandus, so the solo option means unless I choose the right time of day when there are less pre-mades, it can be a hardcore bashing for me. The right time of day produces some epic wins for me . Bad time of day, produces epic losses for me, ha. Mando seems weaker though, am I right to say that?. Or have I just come across Mando's who do not know what they are doing or something?. Fat
  12. I think 4 days is enough that I can manage, before I completely blow my top, if I am completely honest, ha ha. Anyway, PT, well I do have a lvl 55 PT, but completely and utterly needs an overhaul and I have only seen how savage they are in pre-mades, not in solo?. Strange that. So like most people, other than from guilds like Death Smile as an example, most are probably not that good. But it is hard to gauge, because they tend to be in pre-mades, protected by heals etc, etc. Impossible to really see how good a PT is, for the average player that is. So to gauge how bad ace the PT is, can only really be seen via a Death Smile member or equal standards. So not many people.and to come up against a Death Smile PT means instant death for me. So hard to gauge the average PT, not some full blown pvp junky that instantly kills individuals at will. I will look at my PT in the coming months. But I am in no hurry and am not intending on being about too much. Just every now and then, again to keep some sanity and keep things just below that pressure point that I seem to have with people in this game, ha ha. You know in specific though that I have been trying to master FatEdd since I first built him. Sometimes I think I am there with him, then I get utterly trounced by a pre-made who has my name written all over it. Difficult to gauge really again, like the PT. If I went PT, chances are I would be abysmal at it and have zero time to be competitive before being killed by one of you lot. I rarely join groups as I feel that is somewhat a cheat and does not really gauge peoples level, apart from Death Smile and similar guilds who have solo pvpers that can wreck at will. Obviously in a good group and I have been in them recently life is much easier. But to me it is still cheating, ha ha, easy ride, something I just do not do. However, you got a set up you can link for PT, I will take it if that fit comes from a Death Smile member . Cheers Fat
  13. Hi, Having returned back to TOR after a 2 year break for all my sins, I have to say the improvements on the Bounty Hunter are to me, excellent. I really struggled with my BH back in the day as so many people know. Was very difficult to do the type of gameplay that I like, which is not your average BH style, but more in your face. The new improvements allow me to finally play the BH in my style, rather than having to hide behind walls and fire all the time at range. So being in the mix is now a real possibility. That additional shot button that unlocks instant tracer missile, etc, etc is probably the nicest improvement like ever. It means you can lay the damage down almost at will and whilst being in the mix. In a PvP environment they the BH is more competitive and are able to lay more agreeable damage and defensively I have noticed they appear to be much better. I am amazed that the pro Bounty Hunters the really top end ones are not about or are just using other characters now?. The Zachariah's of the game who have Bounty Hunters as well and owned before would be now impossible to stop on the field of play I feel, with or without heals. Nice to be able to stay alive longer now, is another major boost to the Bounty Hunter. Good work TOR, well impressed. Now all I have to do is not lose my cool and play the style I have wanted to play properly for sometime, which is in your face, but now with the ability to lay down some savage damage, and have defensive in the mix, lol. Dangerous. Anyway, hope all you lot are well. Death Smiles, Death Sentence all you guilds, I have missed ya, if I am honest. Hope your all good, and see you soon. FatEdd. Overall, impressed with some of the improvements made.
  14. lol, na this is real music mate, IM Ftw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUefzNi_pX4&list=PL7480318157738BA3&index=13 oh and Good luck.
