  1. For me, Nautolan shows as unlocked, and I’m pretty sure I can change the appearance of my existing characters to Nautolan. But when I try to create a new Nautolan character, which has been my intention since hearing about the species becoming playable, it shows as unlocked, but it doesn’t let me create a Nautolan character. I completely deleted and reinstalled SWTOR at the suggestion of customer support, and yes, my computer is up to the specs, actually exceeding it quite a bit, and I don’t think what computer I am on would make a difference. I think something weird happened with the unlock itself in my profile. If I could de-unlock it and then have it unlocked again, I’m sure that would fix it. I bet it was this mass-unlocking of the species for subscribers without us manually unlocking it. Because I can click the Nautolan on the character creation screen, and when I double or triple click the square to begin character customization, all it does is randomize the male and female characters, like when you click once, but I guess it does it twice, because it takes twice as long with them gone then comes up with a new random. But I can’t actually get in as a Nautolan (though oddly enough I can still get in to character creation for all the other species I’ve bought or unlocked) to the sliding bars and to name a character, and from there begin the game as one. I’ve been a subscriber for a long time, and still am. It’s frustrating because I was—and still am—really looking forward to starting a game as a Nautolan. I wonder if buying the Nautolan unlock in the Cartel Market would fix it, but it may not allow me to use it since it’s technically already unlocked. So basically, maybe my account is stuck this way where I can’t create a new Nautolan without BioWare people doing something in my account. This is a bug and it needs to be fixed. I was talking with customer support, and they said to report it as a bug, and hope it gets fixed in the next patch. But I haven’t read of anyone else having this bug. But this really isn’t fair, because I am so looking forward to this. But if this can get individually fixed for me, that would also be good. I just haven’t read of anyone else having this problem.

  3. -was accidental duplicate- (which was posted because I hit go the back arrow :/ ) -
  4. -was accidental duplicate (same as next post. I was doing this all on my phone.) -
  5. I am a subscriber, and have been at the right times. When I get into the character creation, Nautolan shows as unlocked, but I when I double click the Nautolan square to begin creating my character, even when I click it incessantly, I can’t get in to that screen. All it does is randomize the male and female Nautolan characters. It lets me create characters for all the other species I have unlocked. It only doesn’t work for Nautolan. I’ve tried getting in and out. This was like one of the things I’ve been most looking forward to, and I am very bummed that I can’t do this right now. This really should be working.
  6. Something that has always bugged me lore-wise about the original KoTOR, that maybe someone else can help explain. How did Revan’s “Sith” come back from the unknown regions with prejudice against aliens and believing in human superiority? They were Republic soldiers. Around the time of the Mandalorian Wars was there a common speciesism in the Republic? The troops that followed Revan into the unknown regions couldn’t have been influenced by Imperial society, or else word would have gotten back about them to the Republic about the Sith Empire, with defectors and intercepting transmissions and intelligence operations and so on. The secret of the Sith Empire in the unknown regions was only known by a select few. Honestly, a lot doesn’t make sense about how Revan and Malak’s troops were corrupted, and turned against the Republic. The best case that could be given is the fear and respect of their leaders, with defectors being wiped out before returning with the “Sith” fleet to conquer the Republic. But this still doesn’t explain how they came back with an overt prejudice against aliens, unless the aliens that followed Revan and Malak to the unknown regions almost universally rebelled against becoming “Sith”. Or am I misremembering KoTOR? I know the Tarisians were mostly speciesist, but if memory serves me properly, so were Revan and Malak’s “Sith”, to a certain extent... if memory serves me properly. Or was it just the influence of old Imperial society, with people doing research and leading the “Sith” with the ideas of the old Sith, including the racism. I guess if you identity with an ancient group, and you do your research, that its ideas can be revived. But it still doesn’t really explain how former Republic soldiers would have received those particular ideas so much. You would expect them to adapt Sith ideas to their own already existing beliefs, like the general equality of sentient species and value for diversity. Maybe the humans under Revan and Malak’s command were more receptive to the Sith ideas so that the humans fought the aliens who went with them to the unknown regions. But the Republic military from the time period doesn’t seem to have factions dividing species as much as I know of the lore, and it seems to integrate different species across its military. This would make the organizing of a unified alien opposition from within the Republic military under Revan and Malak’s command seem almost impossible. Thoughts? Maybe I’m misremembering KoTOR, or maybe there’s something I’m missing.
  7. It'd be really cool to be able to see your alts, like in Dragon Age. It'd be cool to see what all of my characters would be like if they didn't become the Outlander. This could be Star Wars TOR's smoking gun. It could literally be the best game ever.
  8. In line with BioWare's renown for being so story-centered, it is my hope that you have considered the possibility of intertwining the class and companion choices made within the legacy with the main storyline. BioWare is inventive, and I am sure that it is possible, coding-wise, for, take for instance—Light Side Jaesa or Darth Zash Khem—not to be lost. Even if one has to say, as in KoTOR 2, as with Revan's gender and alignment, what a given character heard happen, or as with Mass Effect, chooses which characters' class and companion storylines to be keeping and going with where there may be conflicts with regards to—say different characters of the same class. It is my hope that the Developers of KoTFE have at least considered these exciting possibilities for an even more emmersive storyline for the game. Keep on making Star Wars: The Old Republic the most emmersive and story-driven MMO on the books.
  9. Need I say more? I'm interested in learning more about the discovery of the Force in the Star Wars franchise. You still possess a degree of Canon authority, don't you? Do what you can before Darth Mickey Mouse gets his force grip on it.
  10. I hear ya man, and I agree for the most part—know I'm not calling TOR a failure, no I look forward to its bright future—I'm just saying that remastering it would help preserve the liscence, all-the-while be a great way to turn a profit and make new fans of the franchise. Most game stores don't even sell original Xbox games anymore, and if trying to maximize the potential of the franchise remastering KOTOR is definitely a wise decision. Think about the remastered Halo 1—some of the original Halo fans thought it silly, but the remake didn't lose the franchise any fans (in fact it picked up new ones) and people still bought it. And just think of how many more improvements can be made to this game with the earnings from a remastered KOTOR and more subscribers. I very much look forward to the future of this game. That's why I propose a remastering of KotOR; I'm not just living in the past. I'm considering the future of the franchise. (But, hey, it's just a game—and it won't upset me if they don't remaster it.)
  11. I'll admit, the lightsaber in the background is annoying tho
  12. I was just going back an watching this clip from Knights of the Old Republic, just remembering how much fun I had on that game... Star Wars TOR is a good game no doubt. It is the best that can be done... on an MMO. Now, I'm not suggesting that they make a KOTOR3—because this is KOTOR3456789&10, and there is no way that anyone could top the first one. Nothing could have that KOTOR feel like KOTOR1 can—which is exactly why I propose that whoever now has the license for these games (be it Bioware, Lucasarts, Disney, EA—I really don't care and it's not the point) remake the first one, with the same everything—only with higher graphics (and I mean realism, not cartoon). It would be well worth the cost, I'm sure of it. But I'm sure that some of you probably aren't buying into this idea... Watch this clip from KOTOR (now, it's got major spoilers), enjoy the nostalgia (listen to the way that the music, the sound effects, and the excellent voice overs blend and compliment each other to make a unique experience), and tell me—does it feel anything like TOR? Of course it doesn't—it couldn't. Because in an MMO, it's about everyone's cartoon not about a single character. Just... Please consider what I've said. I know that TOR didn't do as good as you had originally intended—such a project as a remake, but for next-gen consoles (or even next-next-gen consoles), would be a great way to make a profit—all-the-while giving the players to enjoy again one of the greatest games of all time. Who knows, it may even attract more subscribers to TOR.
  13. I don't know if there is already a thread like this out there, but I just thought I'd say that the new ready check system is phenominal and extemely practical. I'm not coming from any other MMO, so I don't know this for a fact, but I'm assuming that SWToR is the first game to implement a system like this? How inventive! Way to keep SWToR moving in the right direction, BioWare!
  14. You lost me when you said that Pureblood would be considered alien. First off didn't someone already mention that someone tells you not to be proud of your heritage? Next, it is kind-of part of the lore that the Pureblood is considered = to if not > humans in the empire (remember that one mission on Korriban where you scan Sith overseers, and the Sith dude who sends you on the mission says that he is going to go to the Emperor himself to request Nazi genetic "cleansings" on the members of the Sith Order because of a lack of "the Blood" amongst their ranks
  15. Does the Sage's pinning resolve perk that let's the sage lift three enemies work in pvp? I'm thinking about making a Sage alt. and I was wondering this. Sry if there is another thread on this, but, I am on my phone, and it is extremely slow on the internet. Yeah, BW really needs to make a mobile site for SWToR -_-
