What if Star Wars: The Force Awakens is actually...very good?
Jormunrek replied to cool-dude's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
This is one of the things I am pretty worried about. Anyone that has a Netflix account hop on over and watch a couple of episodes of Fringe. The lense flare usage would be hilarious if it weren't so painful. I am really hoping that the movie will be watchable. Although I wouldn't mind seeing a Darth Walter Bishop... -
You would think that any of the companion races would already have half of the work done. But I can understand why some races like deshade and jawa would be off the table as an option. I guess there would be other issues like some races not being force sensitive enough to become jedi/sith though. That would cause a certain amount of backlash for those that want to play a race as a jedi/sith that aren't force sensitive I imagine.

Title says it all. Liked Thrawn Trilogy. Like the SWTOR books (Decieved qualifies as really liked). Really liked Plagueis (first half more than second though). R.A. Salvatore and Jim Butcher fan. Not sure if that's enough to info to hazard a guess if I will like the series or not but looking for input. =) Would like to see more books read like the Plagueis book did (again first half more than second). Although I'd really like to see more Old Republic era books. Thought about picking up the Jeedai (sp?) book but the description just didn't grab me. Jorm

As long as Lucas get attention (good or bad) I don't think he'll care much. If he can think himself a sage waxing about "the art" he'll be as happy as a pig in mud. Although I think it should be a law that the christmas special should be brought up in every interview with him. As for the movie itself I don't have much faith in Jar Jar Abrams. Hopefully they can keep the lense flare away from him (along with the script) and he doesn't turn every cockpit into an apple store on steroids. And hopefully there won't be an explosion have 3.7 seconds... I still cringe everytime I think of the basketball droid. =/ But we'll see. At this time I don't plan on seeing it in the theaters. I'll wait and buy it on blue ray. Jorm -
Maybe they plan to make a Theran and Lana version for lvl 60? Jorm

Bioware.. Please DO NOT release ANYMORE slot machines
Jormunrek replied to Suromir's topic in General Discussion
While I think that they nerfed the slot machines too far I still want them to release more. Maybe they can play with drops on the PTR or something to try and get the slot machines a little more fun injected to them without causing some people's heads to exlode? Jorm -
No worries. And if you go Imp please don't judge the faction by Drummond Kaas local chat.

I'm on Harbinger and it seems to be pretty busy 24/7. Enough so that I believe it affects server stability on several planets. >.< Although that could just be from 3.0 creating some spaghetti code somewhere jacking with specific planets... I couldn't tell you how things are on the pvp front since coming back. But if our pop is as high as it appears it's probably a decent tell for there being regular pvp. But don't hold it against me if I'm wrong. Jorm

Since the fix I haven't gotten a single piece of jawa stuff of any rarity so I think Bio has either removed them from the tables or increased the rarity to ludicrous levels. So you got what you wanted on that front. They've also (from what I can tell) have increased the rarity of the certs as well. All I've "won" since the fix is another spin or rep items since the fix went in... Edit: oh wait, I've won two cartel certs as well. -
Reminds me of a JUMBO version of the crafted jetpack I had in SWG hehe. I am glad to see an even smaller mount coming our way but wish it was more in line with the size of my old jetpack in SWG...

Episode VII NOT based on George Lucas's vision
Jormunrek replied to Sanguiluna's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
Yeah but I would've rather seen someone other than Abrams doing it. Heck, I would've rather seen del Toro direct it than Jar Jar Abrams. At least then we might've gotten Perlman a part in it. Abrams has always been a lense flare and explosion every 37.6 seconds kind of guy and less of an actual story teller... -

The Indiana reboot will have Indy searching for a holocron before his son Shai LaBoof finds it and becomes Earth's first Sith... -

Two words: Basketball Droid... If I remember correctly I read somewhere that Lucas has an optional consulting gig with Disney for SW and that's it. He doesn't get to sign off on anything and if they don't feel like consulting him they don't have to. That being said, I have very little faith that Jar Jar Abrams is going to wow me. Jorm
