  1. Hi! If I do all the keybinds, settings and UI on one computer. What will carry over to another computer when I reinstall the game? I want to be able to not having to do everything from scratch. Is there anything I can do? Also asking for a friend who is new to the game and the mmorpg genre.
  2. I can confirm the launcher issues years ago when they introduced the Streaming Launcher thingy.
  3. I couldn't help but feeling I was the wrong hero. I played as my Gunslinger but in every cutscene I just wanted to be a Jedi Knight or Sith Warrior. The entire Eternal Emperor storyline just doesn't fit my class in any way. I'm a Smuggler and a Gunslinger and I've had a great adventure mostly. But almost since Shadow of Revan and especially Kotfe and Kotet I don't like the direction of how my character develops. It doesn't feel right anymore, unfortunately.
  4. I would just love to go deeper into the Kotor/Swtor world with all the games and novels. With one character I tried to read every codex and play all content in the game in the correct timeline order but I still felt I missed so much. Too bad I can't find the time to do this again, because I would love to.
  5. I've returned to play Kotet as well. I stopped playing after Shadow of Revan which I think was a good expansion by the way. I have always mained either Marauder or Sniper (Sentinel or Gunslinger) but I've heard Sniper is going to get a pretty big nerf. Hopefully I will still enjoy the class. As for my knowledge at the moment I would tell you to just go with whatever you liked before and as long as you learn and understand your class and spec you will be good either way.
  6. I'm here. I took part in three beta "weekends". I got the early access 14th december, 6 days before official launch. Since 4.0 the game has lost it. I don't like KotFE. The 1-50 Vanilla Swtor with all the lore, codex entries and planet stories, as well as class stories were the best thing about this game even though 2.0 and 3.0 were good as well. I have played them all and I have 18 maxlevel characters, or at least 60+ with around 8 of them at level 65. I have achieved a lot in the game such as all the rewards from 8v8 Ranked and I've placed Top 3 Advanced class in the world in Ranked Arena Season 3 and I have also all the top rewards from all seasons 1-5. But as I said, I'm still here. Swtor is a Star Wars IP, and that's why i play it. It was never a choice to leave for another mmo. I never play a lot of games. I usually stay to the roots as long as they are not broken. Have been playing Gears of War on the Xbox since 2006, just an example, and gears of War 4 coming out this October. So basically, it's either Gears of War or Swtor for me. Not much of a gamer perhaps, but I haven't overstayed my welcome.
  7. Yes Flora. Because every spec of every class should fit the needs of you. No but really, Marksmanship is already a very good spec and works very well in almost every aspect of the game. It's maybe the best overall damage spec in the game. The side note here being that it doesn't work as well as Virulence when it comes to brain dead combat in hc raiding nor in brain dead 99.9% apm challenge on a training dummie.
  8. For me it's the other way around. Knights of the Fallen Empire is the least succesful expansion. All my friends quit due to no new content. You have turned the entire game into a Solo Experience. I'm still a subscriber until this summer sometime, but after that I don't see any future. I haven't put time into the monthly chapters because they are dull and have a weak story plot. I miss my first 8 Class stories I wnt through during the first 2 year life span and all the original planets and their lore all together. THAT was The Old Republic, and I have appreciated the Operation development and quality PRE KotFE. Now it's all a mess and a single player game every time I log on. I have always supported the PvP section, reaching Top 3 in your Ranked PvP on my Gunslinger in times where Sorcerers have been so unbalanced it was not even worth playing anything else. Hell, the PvP is still in this state. And nothing has been adressed. So, even though this post is very welcome, I can't say it's more than a plea that players like me, who are not impressed or interested in the direction you have chosen, that we should take part in this "future", Because if "ongoing support for the future" still will deliver below 30 frames per second in Warzones, release of Single Player content instead of Group content (e.g the eternal championship), no new Operations or harder World Bosses (instanced or not) and downtime of PvP seasons for longer than anyone would pay for, then count me out. Loyal Swtor subscriber since December 14th 2011
  9. Stats are not important for PvP. You will miss, get stunned, miss and others will deflect, parry and dodge your attacks anyway. What you want is just a balanced Crit/Accuracy with as much power as possible. Rest is skill. Min/maxed stats are for PvE and bossfights. PvP is all about the 5-10 seconds between each switch/knockback/cc etc. People who actually believe stats are essential in PvP are the ones with no clue.
  10. But how do they know which maps I like?
  11. cba to check those things out before postig. Soz.
  12. Mando/Merc are awesome healers. Learn to play. But yes, the other two are easier to play in most PvP evironments.
  13. It says I need 2x [Polished Aluminium Armor Assembly Component] to craft 1x [V-9 Seismic Grenade]. I need Armormech to craft them when it is supposed to be Cybertech as well.
