  1. Is there a crafting skill that is improved in 4.1 compared to the others? They all seem about the same now with Synthweaving a little better due to being able to make crit and alacrity augments. This is with the intent to improve my toons and not to make creds.
  2. I use it all the time to top off my energy and regen energy. You won't use when soloing and probably not much in lower level FPs, but I use it all the time in HM FP's and Ops.
  3. That's the rotation. I keep two HOTs on the tank all the time and will pull aggro on big groups. I use my aggro dump and shield just about everytime they're up and often keep two HOTs on myself. Having the tank put Guard on you will help alot in reducing aggro but it won't help on big pulls with some mobs not being attacked. Regardless, the tank should be watching your health and pull aggro off if you're taking damage.
  4. I'm a healing Op and don't pay much attention to the healing output numbers. Gear is a better gauge. If you have the best blue gear you can get prior to a HM FP or SM EV, then you are ready to heal those with a decent group. I wouldn't try HM Kaon or Lost Island yet but the others and SM EV with another geared healer are certainly doable. The best gear means having your L50 matrix cube - real easy for an agent, the off-hand from Coreilla commendations and your orange gear with the best mods available. Running the Ilum, BH and Belsavis dailies a few days will help your gear alot. I got roped into a HM Battle of Ilum that I thought would be a regular not long after I turned 50 and somehow survived and the group was not that great. It gave me a lot of confidence.
  5. I'm a healer but occasionally I have to spec dps to fill out a op or HM FP. I spec concealment because I like it and can hold my own in SM or HM Ops and HM FPs. Doesn't seem to be a problem to me. DPS output is meaningless as long as the bosses go down. Remember the first rule of raiding is "Stay Alive". The second rule is "Follow the script". Bosses go down when adequately geared players follow the two rules. DPS output is the last thing to be concerned about.
  6. Agents and Operatives in particular seem to be the least played class. You will get all the FP/OPS agent drops.
  7. Operative has several things going for it: - best story in the game by far - least played class (that I could tell) - this really shines when raiding, you get all the agent drops. - Stealth and CC. - PvP friends love the class. Some rolled it just for PvP.
  8. It takes me about 150 hours to level a toon. That's about three weeks playing time for me. More if I do FP's and heroics and less if I skip them. I only do them if they are convenient - I never wait long for an invite or reponse to lfg. I space bar through almost all dialog except the class quests.
  9. Heroic Moment doesn't help with this one. it's an almost impossible fight if you don't have an in-combat CC, can't mitigate damage or do uber damage. I struggled with a vanguard, had no problem with a healing sage or dps guardian and needed help as a healing operative.
  10. It''s a pretty weak heal. I could see myself taking the point out that and med shield and moving them somewhere else. I suppose it's useful as an extra HOT in a melee heavy group. That's about the only time I use it. It's certainly a lot easier to use than the other Sorc/Merc AOE heals.
  11. I swap temple's and lokin's gear out all the time. I use temple when healing 2 and 4 man heroic's and lokin when when doing dailies/heroics as dps. I use kaliyo when soloing dailies in heal spec.
  12. I find that dark side choices are "easy" and light side choices are conflicted - you're not quite sure if this is the correct decision. Whereas, the dark choice is almost always quick and easy and scar you for life.
  13. And this is what makes the IA story so compelling. You are never certain what your next action will bring. I leveled a Op and chose all the dark side choices as best as I could. Now I'm leveling a sniper and trying to choose the light side choices to see how the story changes.
  14. Mandeville checking in. Recently re-rolled on Jedi Covenant formerly on Shi-Cho.
  15. Biggest challenge of leveling medic is coming up with a comfortable keybinding UI. This is because you have a large set of damage/mitigation skills. 4 heals, relics and adrenals. I found leveling medic to be a little slower than other classes, even other classes I leveling as healer. I was able to solo some of the +2 heroics and attempted others but the time sink necessary was not worth the reward. I was usually able to get a group anyway.
