  1. It's a shame that we even have this kind of problem.... I can't recall the number of WZs where, because of quitters, AFKers and kill farmers, we just barely lost. If everyone stuck together we would have easily gotten the win. It's really sad that I'm getting where I recognize some of the habitual (perpetual) quitters. Some times I'll even ask them up front if they are playing this round or plan on quitting. And sometimes I'll send them a friendly note afterward to let them know we came back and won the "hopeless cause" they bailed on. Playing mostly in PUGs, I get the luck of the draw, but I really hate seeing the same quitters join my OPs again and again... even if it's only for the first few minutes of the match. (I'd love the ability to vote kick them at the very beginning, but someone would eventually abuse that too). Maybe we just need to organize our own "Premade PUGs"? No matter what BW does they can not "make" the quitter/AFKers "play" and any new restrictions will just move the problem to some other "non-participation" behavior, while adversely affecting people who are there to play.
  2. I too, have started a list of names of people that I don't want to play with because they consistently cripple the team by not playing or just farming. The list also includes folks that constantly run down our side in chat while offering no constructive ideas. (There are no medals awarded for talking trash - do something) I'm even keeping tabs on the ones that quit every time it looks like the game may not go our way. (It's possible to win hopeless looking games, except when losers quit on the team) I don't know what to do with this list, but I sure would like to avoid the people who drag us down.
  3. I don't know about the group not getting credit for the win, but I've hit a string lately where I'm having to win multiple times to get credit and it's occurring on all my characters. One character has not been able to get an update yet. I've had a ticket open since 1/21 - no reply as of this post.
  4. Just adding my experience to to the convo: I have been on the Republic side and we steamrolled the Imps. Other times they just destroyed us. Most of the time, the number of high levels on a side determined the outcome. In one HuttBall match, the opposing team was 40's and 50's against teens and 20's. An unlucky match up for us, for sure. But, they just stood at our goal and killed anyone that came out of the starting box, for the whole game. That's certainly not what the game was intended to be. Some say the Bolster mechanic evens it out - nope. Close, but needs a little more work. It doesn't quite make up for gear, additional abilities, etc. Some tell me - learn to play. I know how to play, but you can't beat a player of equal skill on a 50 when you are 20. Just not going to happen. So they say, don't play until you are 50. What ?!! Warzones shouldn't just be for level 50's, there would only be a few games queued a day at that rate. And I didn't buy the game to sit on the sidelines until I'm 50. I don't think it's a Republic vs Empire problem. I don't think any class is too OP. But without a better bolster mechanic, random chance of queuing can unbalance games to the extreme.
  5. My commando wants to be Taugrim when he grows up. Just awesome.
