  1. You know, "Test subjects needed. Apply now." would be way way better if PTS didn't get closed before this went up
  2. Guide You can buy it Or you can buy it Alternatively, you can buy it Also, you can buy it.
  3. This is primary thng where I would like to see some explanations, so glad to see it on the list. While Watchman makes for perfect pvp question to meet quota, I feel same thing is also issue for few PvE fights with heavy downtime and also requiring burst(Operator IX comes to mind). This also touches issue of Focus a bit, as in "are specs supposed to be so specialized as to fall behind other ones on fights not friendly to their mechanics". Maybe it's by design, maybe by accident, wouldn't mind to hear answer to that from Devs. This also means Focus Sentinels are bound to lose out on focus or Centering when using Zen at above 0 Focus, as spending focus during time Zen is generating it does not give Centering due to same rule as one interrfering with Inspiration. I'm not sure how big difference it makes to player playing Focus to it's full extent, but assuming such player does wait for Centering stacks, changing it to generate centering for Focus players when under effects of Zen/Inspiration could help with DPS in PvE, while not affecting it too much in PvP as there Centering generation is increased by getting attacked and focus generations by Leaps, I also have strange feeling after playing Jugg for a while that their version of Focus/Rage is bit more reliable in PvP due to ability to use empowered Sweep/Spash directly after leap, almost always directly after leaving spawn, but I also have strong dislike to comparing utility of single abilities between two classes, si I'll leave it at it Agreed here, as those two are also my primary two issues to dislike RNG dependant Combat. Inner CD of proc refreshing CD being longer than natural CD means that you have to use it moment it procs, or risk making whole flow of combat a mess. On top of that, ability that you have to use is buff, so it requires you to be able to fully take advantage of it at any moment it can proc for maximum effect. And again, on top of all that, it can only proc randomy of another random proc or of BR forcing Ataru(still at 45% chance). Prepearing for burst phase I consider fine. Losing one Prceision due to it proccing on bad skill like Leap, initial Zealous Strike(especially in pvp) or Double Saber Throw when outside melee range, is not good. And waiting for 3 or 6 or 9 seconds at 'prepeared to burst' state for proc that just does not want to come is simply frustrating.
  4. Almost certainly yes, as they don't want to widen gear gap between entry level and fully minmaxed. Better question is: With Conqueror being new entry-level gear and also new target to which gear will be getting bolstered, what will happen to all Partisan pieces that players have? As it has expertise it won't be bolstered to Conqueror level, so will those players be stuck with gear that is worse than being naked, again?
  5. Wrong, or partialy wrong. What is not bolstered 'correctly' is items with expertise different than lvl55 gear. Meaning old relics or gear BM and below, but also items that have *any* expertise item mod. So for WH it usually means all weapons as their crystals were not changed to remove expertise.
  6. Looking at overall recent forum activity, people either don't care about anything in game at all, or actually do care about it. At least those people that do visit forums.
  7. You seem to be mistaken about class rep role, like so many other people. BW wants to create some in-depth replies to issues community finds most pressing. But if they picked those issues, someone is bound to get mad "They avoid my issue on purpose". So they delegate responsibility of picking issues to community, and that is where class rep comes in. Gets selected. Gathers from community what he should ask about. Submits his list. And he's done. He might get called in if his counterpart from mirror class is unavaible 2 months later, but that's it. For next round of questions, next representative is selected. Why oh why would they spend few months between each 4 month cycle of questions to carefully to pick who gets to make a list of questions? Representative does not get any power outside of his 3 questions. He can't get BW to do 'this' or 'that'. He does not provide any 'personal' feedback that BW is supposed to act upon. He makes list of 3 questions from community. We don't need rocket scientist with diploma and bunch of certificates for that.
  8. "They don't want you to do it'" seems like only explanation. Apparently people were earning money from digging for hours, and that can't be, only source of money should be dalies and/or fp/ops/wz. Same thing happened to space missions, after nerfig it's rewards to oblivion they removed any reason to do them outside achievements/specific gear for fleet comms. You still may do those things for specific rewards(speeder parts, legacy shells, space comms), but don't count on any rewards you used to get. And for seeker droid it means no rewards at all unless you actually manage to find something.
  9. Post that I replied to assumed they werent important as long as he could get quick pop. Your point? Or just reading comprehension failure?
  10. I have to say it, I'm really really REALLY REALLY impressed by way BW decided to handle this bug /sarcasm_off So there was this step of achievement, it apparently worked for first week or two after release as some people say they've got it. Whole diverting troops even works when you reproduce steps correctly, only issue is that it does not count for achievement. Easiest solution? Remove troublesome step from achievement requirements
  11. It speeds up things for everyone. Including random people in queue. Point of not allowing manual invites is to pull out random people waiting in queue. You are allowed to bring in specific replacement, but he'll have to accept forfeiting his rewards. By plowing trough everyone in line you're making them wait longer, and yes, this is bad. Getting group matched trough GF gives lockout. You used to be able to see it ticking down, like when witing for replacement. Normal kicking, just like leaving group, does nothing to lockout. Getting removed trough votekick removes lockout. Irrelevant in context of this discussion, because it wass about premade ops, not fully random FP groups.
  12. You mean this? You probably also missed his next post:
  13. Votekick removes lockout, but when premade queues trough group finder, leader tends to keep power to simply kick people, and those kicks do cause lockout. So your testing is irrelevant.
  14. You have failed me for last time, Forums. /forcechoke /unsub
  15. As far as I'm aware, they in fact did discuss changes made in Cata(I think), like removal of 'must have' talents like extra crit or damage, and argumented it way you say, more veriety by removal of cookie cutter builds. Current simplification seems simply like step futher in same direction, moving all game changing 'skills' simply to specialization. And I could be wrong, but doesn't dual spec now allow you to change your specialization, not only selected talents? So simplification of trees has nothing to do with ability to change specs. Also, such discussion is pretty much irrlevant right now, because field respec is already here.If dual spec had ability to runin game, then requiring player to click their mouse 60 more times won't save it either, and it's already doomed. There is certain waste of resources, because primary functionality itself is already here as field respec a.k.a. Infinite Spec. And while it does not offer ability to change action bars or gear with one click, fact that it's not limited to only 2 specs overweights those inconviniences for some, if not most people. Making game constantly easier leads to introduction of "I-win" button that causes congratuations screen appear, because that's only way it can tell you that, as everyone is a winner. Remove 'constantly', and it does not lead to as bad situation, but still. Decisions about developement are not made based only on current feedback on this one specific feature, but also feedback up to that moment about similar features. So if people don't complain about each feature making game easier, developers won't recieve message "some people already think game is too easy, maybe we shouldn't make it even easier". They shouldn't pull out pitchforks and torches for every little thing, but expressing their disapproval is as valid as expressing enhusiasm by people that like it.
