  1. Can also confirm. This is happening on every map transition across ALL characters. Not only do keybinds reset, but so does Global Cooldown settings, Auto loot, auto target, deselect target on click, and the keybinds for Target nearest enemy and target next enemy. They ALL reset. So everytime I switch I map i have to open interface, load keybindings, uncheck all those options under Controls, hit save, recheck them and hit save again. This is basically unplayable at this point. I am not happy.
  2. I've been around since beta. I have 14k hours in this game. I've played on every server and have seen guilds come and go. There is a trend on star forge that I want to help stop. You either stay in a small 5 person PvP guild and don't queue without your friends, or you get roped into a massive conquest guild that accepts all players regardless of skill or interest and you get drowned out. Ive spent the better part of 2 weeks messaging every single guild I could find on Star Forge asking about their policies and practices. I've even joined some of them to see what was going on. They all boiled down to three things. -Conquest farmers, accept all skills levels, advertise on starter planets. Have 40-50 people online at all times. A core group of players that only play with each other (sort of like clicks in high school), meanwhile guild chat is being spammed with "Can someone loan me credits", "What is best DPS", "Why can't I equip a dualsaber on my juggernaut". No coordination besides core players. They run ops, but carry all the new people through and teach them nothing. - RP guilds. Don't have a lot to say about those, but personally not my thing. I stay away from them as much as possible. Some tend to PvP, some tend to PvE, but not really competitive in nature or welcoming if youre not into their specific RP mindset. -PvP tryhards. They have their own level 2 guild, with 5-7 members, have some edgy name like "rekt", or "Youre bad", they only queue with each other, or other edgy edgelord guilds. They are usually toxic, and troll via PvP chat. I want to start a guild, and I need help from people that have vision. I know it may be just a pipe dream but I love this game and I want to play with people that love it too. I personally am a big PvPer, and love to PvE as well. I've done all SM Ops, never NIM, but have an interest. What I want to create is a guild that is ran by a team of people who actually want to compete. Whether thats PVE and PvP. I want to see guildies actually queue together for regs, Ranked, or FPs, Daily SM operations. I want to see competitions. Duels, raffles, prizes for events. Fastest clearing of FPs, etc. I want to see a discord that has people in voice channels laughing and talking strategy and coordination in whatever they are doing. I'm not looking to be an overlord and rule over everyone. I don't even have to be GM, if someone has a dead guild they want to work with me on, i'd be down. With 6.0 coming out, and even now currently there are a ton of players that are returning to the game looking for guilds. The giant conquest guilds are recruiting them like mad, only for their numbers, not because they want to actually play the game with these people. Sooner or later they will leave, and i've seen it countless times. You join a conquest guild you aren't getting the best of swtor. I think now is a perfect time to create a guild where people that actually want to play at a medium to higher skill level can find a home. If anyone is interested in helping me, or maybe you are already working on something similiar please let me know. PM me if you want, or reply, and I can give you my discord name and we can chat. Also in my findings from joining Conquest guilds and asking questions, I found many people who would be interested in joining a guild like this, but none are created, but didn't want to join until things were established. So I want to establish it with a team of people. * I also created something on reddit similar but it was immediately removed by the mods for breaking the side rule "No guild chat". Even though they let 99% of the other side bar breaking posts go every day. The recruitment section on reddit is dead so i figured i'd try here*
  3. Repost from the server forums. Figured I may have better luck here. I'm a veteran of this game, played since Beta. Have done every PvP activity imaginable. Still love it. I am tired of all of the organized PvPers being in single or double person guilds. Never wanting to play without their dedicated healer, or do friendly duels because they don't have personal relationship with you. I know there are alot of players that are interested in getting into organized PvP, whether that be ranked, or premades in regs, or even dueling or non arena skirmishes. I am looking to join a guild that has players interested in this. You don't have to be amazing, but want to try and learn. I'd be willing to lead any activity or join activity planners already working on something. I just want people to play with. The only thing I do not accept is RPing. Not my thing, knock yourself out if it is, but don't want to be in a guild that does active RP. If your guild is interested in having someone that wants to get a PvP squad going, let me know who to contact, i'd love to join

  5. What I find crazy is crew skills. Since I've been sending my comps on missions all of the time. Why on earth do we have to "accept" the rewards? We can't deny them, so all they do is stop you from accepting current rewards. Make them auto-accept into inventory, and just tell us what we received via System Message in chat. I can't count how many times I'm in a flashpoint, all my comps return at the same time and it says "You are not eligible for this conversation until you accept rewards". Since I have 5-6 waiting for me to click accept. Does that drive anyone else crazy or just me? I also find it sort of lame that we have a limit on the number of companions we can send out at one time. If I have 20 companions and worked to get them, let me send 20 out. It has zero effect on the game. It will only be costing me the credits to send them, and the rewards are not game-breaking. Since any rares you get, will barely, if at all, cover the cost of sending them out in the first place. In fact it could actually help the market. Since more people are getting more crafting items frequently, thus being able to sell more, or craft more items. I'm not saying lets send all 40+ companions out. But raise the limit to at least 15.
  6. I would pretty much agree with you. I'm not a noob pilot, even though I do make noob mistakes sometimes out of frustration. But the current state of GSF is not fun. I enjoy it, weirdly enough, but its not fun. I know that doesn't make sense. I get angry when I win, I get angry when I lose. If you're not flying a GS, or a SF, then you are a glutton for punishment. What seems to be happening is people are so frustrated, they premade up, ruin the queue and it doesn't pop for awhile. Mostly because nobody likes being farmed, and everyone likes being carried. The alternative, and its almost worse, is that everyone picks a gunship and bombers, and they protect each other. Essentially camping and you are unable to reach them, because there is ZERO coordination if you aren't running a premade in voice. Zero. You can try to communicate but it doesn't make any difference, unless all veterans are on. So many people will argue that GSF is fine, but Strike Fighters are OP AF. There is a reason its what 90% of people pick. Scouts are essentially worthless unless you are in the middle of nowhere 1v1ing. People will say "Well you aren't flying correctly then". There is NO way a scout can reach a team that is camping Gunships and bombers. You just can't do it. I don't care how much you Line of Sight, but bombers protecting Gunships is a cancer to the game. It doesn't become about flying anymore. Its just sitting around, letting your mines/drones attack anyone that comes close to stop the barrage of gunship spam. Sure you can out fly a Strike FIghter with a Scout, but......why? You get more of everything with a SF. The only thing you don't get is BLC. Which aren't even fun anymore. You have to be so close to get them off, and one wrong move and youre dead from a Slug from a GS, or a mine from a bomber anyways, which there is a plethora of since they made the matches so large. There is no point in running a scout. Sure EMP is cool, but youre going to rush in, pop it off and die. "maybe" take out a few drones but thats your entire strategy. Rush in die and maybe a teammate that isn't afk can coordinate with you. So instead of actually trying, just pick a GS or a bomber and sit around waiting for people to come to you. Every time I queue, I say this is the last time I play this mode. Even when I win, or on top of leaderboards, it felt like a slog to get there. GSF just isn't fun anymore. If you look at all the people here that say its so fun, and in a good spot, watch their youtube videos, or gameplay. They never fly alone. They always have coordination. Premade GSF is a TON of fun. But you destroy everyone, make them angry, and kill the queue and now you have to wait until everyone who raged calms down. Its not sustainable for newer players.
  7. I vote Tattooine Canyon. It offers some unique set ups with LOSing, kiting and its just fun. You can usually always recover from knocking someone away. Unlike Mandolorian where if you get knocked off the whole team has to rotate strat immediately. This sounds good in theory but its not, unless its 4 mans. Solos it usually leads to chaos and things go to crap, fast. You can hide to much in Mandalorian arena. It's a cool map but it isn't that much fun to play on. What makes a good map is balance of escapes and abilities. In Tat canyon and Orbital you can knock someone out of the fight but still see them and rotate how you need to. Those two maps feel the most balanced for every class. You can LOS easily enough, kite easily enough and still have situational awareness. Plus the Instant death glitch that was supposed to be removed still happens on the other maps. Less so with Orbital and Canyon, and even Corellia. It's also fun to team fight. You can clearly see your opponents and what you need to do. The other maps provide to much cover and its never usually a team fight. Which some people enjoy that aspect but I don't really. If I wanted to 1v1 someone i'd just whisper them. Not queue into an Arena and wait until they hide or pull me away from their team with no way for either team to recover that player unless you run all the way around, use a jump or pull. It just takes away from the 4v4 fun for me playing that way. Tat, Corellia, Orbital force the teams to work together in all aspects, the other maps just feel like super smash brothers. Who can knock the other person off first. I also understand this is a strategy and when you knock someone off you are able to coordinate attacks on the desired target until that person recovers, but its not fun way to play for me.
  8. This. It sucks. I've been looking for people to PvP with for months. Nobody wants to join unless you are IRL friends with them. They only play when they have their premades with a healer. I am looking to change this, and would be willing to start a guild with a few veteran PvPers like myself to help teach new people, and get some solid folks to start running together in regs and in granked. Not sure how to convey my ideas though. Reddit gets downvoted to oblivion by the PvE-ers and not a whole lot of people check the forums. Genchat is cancer. If you'd be willing to start something to help change the face of PvP (especially with guild updates coming) send me a PM and we can discuss in discord/ingame or whatever. There are a lot of people out there looking for PvP guilds that also run PvE
  9. I'm deff interested and think there are alot of solo players out there looking to get in. But just need a few people to stand up and start something. I sent you a more detailed PM
  10. After the new announcement of guild changes. I haven't found any guilds that focus on PvP in groups. I can only think of a couple and they are only 2-3 friends that have a guild and never recruit or play regularly. Pubside there are a few guilds that pvp together, but I can't find one Impside. Does anyone know if any guilds that run Regs for fun? Even Granked for fun? I'm not looking for amazing players, but people that are fun to play with, actually try and regularly do PvP. I've been looking for months and can't find anyone on SF that wants to do this, or maybe i'm playing at the wrong times. Can anyone help me out? I hate playing PvP solo like I have been for months. At this point I don't have any IRL friends that play anymore, but am not above starting my own guild and help new players l2p PvP. Anyone have anyone I can contact, or know of any guilds that are recruiting for PvP stuff? I can even tryout if necessary. I'll put my money where my mouth is.
  11. Recently returned to the game after a 5 month hiatus. Looking for a guild that does nightly PvP events. Whether thats grouping for regs, granked, or duels. Just want people to PvP with that are willing to try their best. I also like to run the occasional raid so PvE is fine as well. Let me know what guilds would fit this and I can whisper some people in game. Thanks!
  12. Star Forge is a giant RP pub server now. Yes there are Imp guilds that PvP. But if they are losing they switch to pubs. Most of the Imp pvpers that were serious, or as serious as you can get these days have left SF entirely for SS or Malgus. If you want to pvp republic SF is the server.
  13. Smirk is now filled with members from LD50. The guild name may be the same but its not the same players, except maybe 1, and there are only 5-6 of them. I've seen FOTM on SS now. Unless there is some other guild running that on SF. There are some good players in some of the guilds left no doubt, but I don't count them as PvP guilds. For example KungFu Treachery are some solid good players and nice guys but they aren't around much anymore, same thing with Oblivion. Not the new Oblivion that got made but the old one, they are slowly fading away as well and not queuing as groups anymore in ranked or regs. The pops are more frequent on SF, yes no doubt. Not that its horrible on SS, i still haven't waited more than 5 min. But the quality is so poor. It has a higher population, but those population numbers account for RPers, and solo players that don't do anything but play Dress Up and RP. Which there is nothing wrong with that, but it does not equate to Bigger = better.
  14. I found SF PvP to be the worst players i've ever seen in this games history. I waited it out trying to see if people would get together and make it happen but it never came to fruition. There are two guilds that I can think of off the top of my head Imp side that are good. Smirk, which is LD50 from JC, and Ruining Lives, also JC, both guilds have less than 5 people in them and only play together, and almost always only do group ranked. The rest are complete and utter garbage. I've seen the good imp guilds on JC and SL vanish. Saw them originally after the merge but slowly I couldn't find any of the usuals. So I transferred my entire legacy to SS, and low and behold, found where everyone was hiding. The first day of matches were better than anything I've ever had on SF. Hands down. It may have less people but the quality of matches is so superior that i'll take it any day. Even the trolls don't bother me. I'd rather have good, or average trolls in a WZ than the people on SF that play like they've never played a computer game in their entire life. I played on JC and SL mostly and never saw this problem. Its 100% EH people, and the RPers that migrated from Harbinger. SF is a cancer of a server. Everything pops all day but the quality of play PvP and PvE is so horrific that it's better if it didn't pop at all.
