  1. Currently there is no gear in place for neutral players like there is for the extremes. Stephen Reid posted on Reddit today that it is being discussed, but there are apparently technical challenges to doing it.
  2. 1) I would say leveling is really quick actually compared to other MMOs I've played. Very little downtime at all if you don't want there to be 2) Yes 3) Absolutely. All class quests are designed to be done solo. You'll miss out on some heroic quests and flashpoints, but you can definitely skip those without an issue. There's more quests to do than you'll need to get to the next planet 4) I haven't seen any class that's terrible at soloing, but I've had friends tell me that the Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow seem to be very underpowered. 5) This will depend a lot on class. My Juggernaut is fairly simple, but I know Agents tend to have a more complex rotation. 6) If you figure this one out, let me know. I'm broke.
  3. I wouldn't say it's setup to punish you, but you are correct that you will have to do everything twice. It's done this way so that your story won't interfere with your friend's story. A friend and I have been leveling Agents together and the best thing we've found is to not join each other's instance for class quest.
  4. My Juggernaut is almost unkillable most of the time, but he can't do damage very fast at all. That's what I keep Vette around for. She can pump out some pretty good DPS.
  5. Yeah doing this helps with the "sticker shock" that happens when you haven't repaired for a while.
  6. If you go to a vendor, they will have a "repair" tab. If you click this tab you can repair your blade. There is also a "repair all" button in the bottom left corner of this tab.
  7. They are used to mark targets. Typically to give a kill order or to assign crowd control responsibilities. They could also be used to assign a specific target to a specific person. They do not grant any combat bonuses or anything.
  8. There is no way to switch advanced classes. BioWare has said that they don't plan on giving this ability, though that could possibly change in the future.
  9. Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't remember exactly where the taxi was. I do know that I had to finish all of my class quests on Balmorra before I got the bonus quest that took me out to those areas.
  10. 40k credits for the speeder skill, another 8k for the speeder itself. I haven't bought one yet, but I've heard there's speeder vendors both on the Fleet stations and on Tatooine.
  11. There are taxis that go out there. I didn't find them however until I was ready to leave Balmorra and got a bonus set of quests that sent me that way.
  12. That means it's customizable. So yes, it can be used in end-game if you put end game mods in it. You'll get others that are orange as well. You can try to submit an in-game ticket to have the item restored, but I'm not sure what BioWare's policy on this is.
  13. Select your target, and right click on their portrait that shows up above your action bar. Then you can put a marker over their head.
  14. In the same location you turned on the second bottom bar, there is an option to turn on both a right and a left sidebar.
