  1. 1 huttball 2 nc 3 voidstar 4 alderaan
  2. good read. I like your style. I would add something relative to the basic strategies (and differences therein) of each wz. Sort of a Do, and Do Not list? What do you think?
  3. I only vote for players that directly help me. Like a healer who saves my butt when I'm near death. Hard to not notice something like that, or when a name continues to come up in green letters, then I know that player is paying attention to me and that's a good feeling. They are the mvp, imo. Otherwise, I vote for a guild mate, who is usually helping me anyway. Numbers don't mean everything, I might see a player did a lot of healing, but if I never saw a single heal personally, why would they get my vote? Probably just helping their premade group and ignoring other players.
  4. As a middle of the road class playing in a wz, how do you gauge your own effectiveness? Is it: overall damage or healing? whether or not your team won the wz? how many kills, or better yet, solo kills you earned? how many players you aggro'd or interrupted? how well you played for your team how long you were able to survive score lots of medals Those are just a few possibilities. Interested to see what responses there might be. Personally I just play for fun, but feel effective when I live as long as possible while helping team mates, remember my taunts, and getting a few solo kills is very satisfying.
  5. I like the current system, and I also don't mind dying quickly. It's more realistic, imo. I find it exciting when "the heat is on", and I have to really stay on my toes.
  6. yes, got a 600-0 victory the other day with a random pug
  7. I've got purples on both vik and yuun. Bought on the gtn. Yuuns wasn't cheap, but I know they exist as craftables, somehow.
  8. Ok, first of all, why do so many people seem intent on wearing these as complete sets? In this update we'll finally be able to use any orange armor we want! Pop out the mods and drop 'em in your favorite orange gear. Mix and match for an interesting and unique look. I can't wait. I look at these sets for the pieces that they include, and there are some interesting pieces in there even though I'm not a big fan of the complete sets. I'm referring to the separate components; pants, helmets, boots, gloves, belts, etc. There will be no need to wear a full set of anything unless you happen to like the look.
  9. so, I target my friend and then attack him, but the attack actually goes to his target? that sounds like dumbing down to me.
  10. I only lost one today, so far. Won everything else. Almost too easily.
  11. Cool guys, thanks for posting some intelligent replies. I understand the need for a certain amount of gratfication, and tiers of character development. I enjoy that progression myself, which is why I play rpg's. I was just venting a little, and have been enjoying the game. Looking forward to 1.2 and beyond.
  12. I play for fun. Who ever gave a rats a** about valor? seriously....lol! You didn't see that coming? I've been pve questing for orange gear for weeks! I juts want to look cool when I'm having a blast pvping...lol!
  13. I thought the play was the reward... It's only .50 cents a day. I used to spend more than that in one day at the arcade, easily. Never once complained about it. Kids these days...they wan't it all.....now....... /shrug I see a lot of people asking, " what do I get out of this?" sort of questions.... Example: "I can win most wz matches that I'm in, don't I deserve something special?", or "hey, I pay for this game. where's my fat lootz that reflect my mad skills?" The game has been out only a short time..... (I think it's clear that 1.2 is a step towards improvements, cuz it's not like I don't agree that this game needs work). I guess it's a good example of the INSTANT GRATIFICATION thing that I read about. It doesn't seem to matter if it's pvp related or whatever, but the pvp community seems to have a large percentage of whiners. Do you people enjoy gaming just for the sake of it? Can you enjoy some heated battles without obsessing on real, or imagined slights?
  14. 1- yes, I use them all the time. It's a debuff, use it. It helps your team 2- not needed, but you might like it 3- must use, as it's one of your main abilities whether you like it or not. Learn how it works. get used to it. 4- there's lots of build to try. find one you like
  15. I hear the term baddie and I instantly imagine a pubescent teenager who takes games way too seriously. MUST WIN...ALWAYS
