  1. Hey. Just a brief note. Today's patch notes, found here: http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes , say that the Terentatek requirement for the Tython Beast achievement has been removed, therefore making it achievable. This is not true. I logged in this morning and it's still a requirement. ALS
  2. Hey all, This is just a quick update to an old thread.. which still applies to today, as near as I can tell. I've checked all the Codices in the original post listed.. and they are still broken... a year later - and about six months after one of the Customer Service Staff Person(s) had made a post that 'coming soon' changes were coming and that the Codice system overhaul/revamp was coming. (6 Months after the post is not exactly 'coming soon' for an average player would be my guesstimation). So... Yea. Other than that, still love and adore this game and all the hard work BioWare/EA puts into fixing all of the other stuff they do fix and update and add. ALS
  3. http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/9721/screenshot2013032116165.jpg That has got to be by far the most interesting LOADING SCREEN screenshot I have -ever- taken. The how and why of this event eludes me. I do not know how that happened or why, but it certainly makes me think my game or my computer must have been on drugs during THAT loading screen. Comments, please - would love to know how and why this happened so I can tell my Guildies how to recreate it! ALS
  4. [ATTENTION: Those who want a summary, here it is: Bugs have pissed me off, lack of customer service has pissed me off, lack of any attempt at correcting various issues as pissed me off and I may only possibly be leaving, not definitely: time will tell. Thank you. Now you can skip the rest of the post if reading is far too much of a burden for you!] Bioware/EA/LucasArts, Seriously, I've had it. When my subscription times runs out in August, I am most likely leaving. And, if what 'most' of pretty much anyone is saying, you (the company) has lost significant numbers since December and January. TAKE THIS AS A RED FLAG. I can't speak for others, but here is MY list of things that have pushed me AWAY FROM YOUR GAME!!! Disconnects - CONSTANTLY DISCONNECTING or getting stuck in splash loading screens. It's getting ridiculous! I could just be STANDING *********** STILL and get a splash screen out of nowhere! LOOT - disconnecting and reconnecting without restarting the client has cost me NUMEROUS ITEMS OF LOOT in various flashpoints. Seriously, fix this crap. LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE - Nobody ever wants to rectify issues caused from the game's bugs (LIKE LOST LOOT!) and they all pretty much give off the impression that they just don't give a flying **** because, of course, it's "not their area/department" or "it has to go to the Devs" (who don't do jack**** to fix it anyways!). CODEX BUGS - I've been ************ about this since December 15, 2011! Over six months now and not one damn codex entry has been fixed. HOW LONG has the terentatek been missing for Republic Jedi's Beastiary Codex list? How about Sateele? JEDI WEAPONS for the Knight?! Darth Angrel, Coruscant Persons of Note?! Over six months and not even one of these BEGINNER AREA codices has been fixed! Priorities - THE DAMN DEVS' priorities are towards 1.3 instead of fixing ALL THIS CRAP that is broken in the game. I don't care if it's one or a hundred different teams. With this many bugs, pull them together and at least get the game running smoothe 95% of the time for 95% of your players!!! LACK OF GROUPS - Seriously a big one. Half the times, players I know and myself can NEVER find groups for on-planet Heroic missions or Flashpoints unless we spend 2 or 3 hours spamming.. if we're lucky! Don't even try to get a group for world bosses, pft, unless you've an insanely huge, active guild or you want to spend six hours putting it togther. What fun is a SOCIAL MMO game if people are not playing it with MULTI(PLE PLAYERS). It's kind of a KEY in the MMO (Massive MULTIPLAYER Online) genre, don't you think?! And that is just the current stuff that has me pissed off at the moment, NOT a complete list of everything I think is wrong or needs to be addressed. Bottom line, get your junk together. I really want to see the game succeed - I truly do because I love the content.. JUST NOT THE BUGS, LACK OF ATTENTION OR CORRECTION on these issues!
  5. Codices have been broken since 12/15 - the first day of Early Access. So, no, they probably won't get them fixed if the VERY first one they have fixed is this new event codex. I mainly just want SOME sort of answer on where these codex bugs are at in terms of priority and WHERE are they at on the list of fixes? (At this point, I genuinely have to doubt that they are even ON the list!). I mean, God **** it.. I've waited nearly 5 months for them to address this ****. 5 months is patient enough.. I want an answer now.. if only to satiate me for another 5 months. >.>
  6. Still waitin' on some form of response. I think this really should get some kind of explanation. >.>
  7. Ok, so clearly as of 4/17/2012, the Developers/Programmers/Coders/Etc. have the ability to fix codex issues in-game... 'cause they fixed this one. So, why the **** haven't any other Codex issues been fixed? You know, the ones that have been bugged since the date the game launched 12/15/2011... Such as the Jedi Knight's "Darth Angral"? Or the missing Beastiary one for Republic on Nar Shadda? Or how about the 'Terentatek' Codex for the Republic?! Seriously, I rarely come on the forums to post and even less to complain - by all means, it's a good game (IMO).. but the fact that the Developers aren't even attempting to fix these codex issues is a sad statement of how they fix the Codex bugs. As I'd said before in a prior post - one probably about a month+ old -, even just ONE fix each patch would be better than none. A Customer Service Co-Ordinator or GM's response on the status of the codex fixes (or a statement of where they are on the list of bugs to be fixed [ASSUMING they are even on the list]) would at least be helpful.
  8. Also, Note that some codices are available for some classes but not for others, even though they're not specifically listed as X-Class only. Examples are that more than half the ones on Ord Mantell can't be obtained by the Jedi Classes.
  9. .. A primarily-Republic player was sent to this thread for a discussion about Codice issues by a CS or whatever they're called. Any plans to list all the Republic-side Codex bugs?
  10. There... Fixed. Can we hold hands and sing ***-By-Ah now as we wait to see if any Devs or GMs will kindly and most lovingly, peacefully respond with their perfect, valuable and most precious thoughts and perfecting an already perfect and totally enjoyable, sweet, addictive Codex system? I promise my hands are clean... ish.
  11. ... I hate you! Oh, fine. Tear up my totally serene and peaceful post! *Sobs* Nobody wants to hug my carebear post. (Hey.. It's not as though I'm perfect.. [And if I am.. uh... that pretty much means mankind is screwed if I'm the best of us. O_o ])
  12. Really? Interesting. I wasn't aware responses were cutting into the OP. Amazing! NINJA responses for the total win!
  13. Three problems with your response: 1. Underaged? First, plenty of person(s) I know directly and indirectly under the age of 13 can act and behave and conversate much more maturely than a lot of the person(s) who are over the age of 18 I know. Furthermore, plenty of person(s) over the age of 18 can behave and respond as if they are under their age. 1. TLDR: Age is irrelevant. 2. Overendulged? Hardly. If you've scanned my post(s), what >few< I have, you'll find that unlike more than 50% (statistic made up on-the-fly as a guesstimated number), I've only had the one issue so far - the Codex system. Seriously, going on three months before downright requesting/demanding/yelling for some kind of official answer is hardly being 'over indulged'. 2. TLDR: No. Stop being lazy and read my prior post(s). 3. Jerk? ... Ok, maybe in this particular OP, I could have been a bit more 'jerkish' than absolutely, positively necessary.. but tell me.. was the world built on the backs of the sweet, nice, peaceful, loving peoples? No. It's built by people who come in and whoop ***. Sometimes, a little bit of nastiness is required to get the job done. 3. TLDR: To each their own. I disagree... partially.
  14. Nah, Extremes are just more enjoyable than straddling the fence.
  15. Hello and good afternoon, people and players of peace, love and serenity, I bring to you out of love this message of hope and peace. Three months ago, a wonderful and totally perfect game in the eyes of all fanboys and fangirls came out. On this most glorious day of December 15th, 2011, Star Wars: The Old Republic was realesed for Early Access. Since then, we have enjoyed three pleasuarable, glorious, perfect months of love, peace and harmony as only those issues which would bring about further peace, love and joy to us wonderful and totally peaceful, serene fanboys and girls were addressed. In fact, us wonderfully endearing, sweet, perfect men and women who have adorn our rooms with posters of SWTOR Media and have had custom bedsheets and bedspreads of SWTOR characters made can find no flaws in our most exquiste and delightfully masterful game. However, in these three blissful months of paradise, there is a few of us CareBearing fans who would like to see a fraction of that love and peace work towards ever further perfecting that already perfect Codex System. Yes, we acknowledge we can't be found in wanting for the game, for this game satisfies all our needs and desires and longings but despite us not being in longing, it would be wonderfully masterful, kind and sweet of those most beloved and precious GM's or Devs would tease us ever lovingly with their plans and thoughts on any possible improvements to the Codex System. Farewell, my fellow lovers and fans of SWTOR - the game that can do no wrong because us, it's direhard fans, are perfect in the eyes of each other for we have nothing but love and kind words to offer. /Signed with a red-crayon'ed heart and sealed with an amourous kiss.
