  1. We're still looking to add more members. So far the guild is made up of pretty casual players so if you dont see somebody on but are interested, dont be afraid to send a pm or message on our site.
  2. I havent seen you on, though admittedly I havent been on very much myself the last couple weeks. We accepted your request, just gotta find you online to send the invite. Also if you know anybody else looking send them there please. We're getting people...but VERY slowly. I made it so anybody can invite anybody and all the permissions set for new recruits. So if you're in game and meet somebody and they're looking for a guild, feel free to send them the invite. Also, keep in mind when taking to other people that the application form is not mandatory, its only there to help us get people into the guild that we dont know and gives us a little info on the person. They dont have to fill one out. Its more about blind recruiting so to speak. If somebody sees our guild tag in game or stumbles across our website and wants to join....then they can just fill out the app instead of trying to coordinate a time to talk face to face so to speak.
  3. The guild has been myself and my gf since we were in closed beta. We've been in a friends guild since 6 months or so after launch. We still have our main raiding toons in their guild but we'd like to start to get our guild off the round and running. We have 5 bank tabs and a fully opened up guild house (undecorated aside from the guild/personal/legacy cargo holds, GTN and the character mod station) The guild is called "Lukes Right Hand". With the website I think we have like a 5 channel mumble but I havent set it up yet. Heres our website I hardly ever visit these forums but if you're interested, just fill out the application on our website or post a new thread in the forum in our website because I check that often.
  4. Like it or hate hate it, it is what it is. Its been done for a week now and there is no changing it. All have already served their time. The arguments for and against stiffer punishments have all been made several times over. Hopefully the Devs have been paying attention and weighing both sides. Next time this issue pops up, because its an ever changing and evolving video game it WILL pop up, they will take action sooner and more appropriate action. By that I mean somebody who got 2 pieces of loot should NOT receive harsher nor equal punishment for somebody who received 50 pieces, half a billion credits and your first born son. Its done, its over. Lets not push this thread to 100+ of the same thing being repeated ten thousand times hoping they hear us. Wait until the next one happens and see what transpires to push that new thread over 100 and repeat 10 thousand times. At least give them a chance to show they learned something before chastising them for not learning anything.
  5. Seriously, hes just here to troll and fan the flames. I wouldn't bother replying to him with anything worth talking about since he's not worth talking to. Everything you say will just get turned around and make him keep posting his trolling comments (which is against the ToS for the forums btw, maybe we can get a new thread to get trolls banned? lol )
  6. Right. And because theres a hurricane its the stores fault for not having break proof glass and allowing the looters to come steal stuff from their store right? Oh I know, because they changed the speed limit on the road last week its their fault I'm speeding today right? Oh, maye its "Its her own fault for wearing that outfit". Right? Its about taking responsibility for your own actions. Not about a "faux moral outrage"
  7. I see your point. And I understand what you're saying. But my way of thinking is, the rules were given to us before we logged in for the first time. We agreed to those rules. Whether the rule is we have to do 20 pushups and 30 situps before we log in, if we agree'd to it, we should abide by it. If it was something that was new that we didnt agree to abide by, then I'm right there with ya. But we agreed to follow those rules. I think the primary reason most people (or at least some) wanted there to be a punishment was because in that agreement Bioware stated that "this will be your punishment for breaking these rules" and we agreed to that. Like I said, for me it was about Biowares integrity. It may be minor and those who participated doesnt effect me in the slightest, but to me integrity means a lot. Thats just how I am. I'm the moron who still pays waved fines and fees it if was my fault they were assessed. I pay for my mistakes (cost me over $40,000 my adult life that I could have gotten away with not paying). I may be late with my payment of those mistakes, but I always pay for them. I dont drive with expired tabs (plates), I dont drive without insurance, I do the speed limit. Thats all my choice. They just changed the speed limit on the highway by my house from 55 to 45. I HATE it because its a wide open 4 lane highway with no cross traffic, but it is what it is. So I do 45 and not 55. I'm not trying to say "I'm better because I follow the rules" or anything like that because I truly dont believe following the rules makes you a better or worse person. Many good people break the rules all the time. All I'm saying is if I break the rules, no matter how stupid I find those rules, I will pay the price for breaking them and I fully expect everybody else to do so also. Doesnt make them less of a person. Doesnt make the evil. The only thing it makes them do is pay a penalty for breaking them. Or at least it should and why this dibacle has gotten to where it is.
  8. Max, it seems that you think others are taking this too personal. What is it about the fact that somebody broke the rules and backed out of their agreement do you not understand? It has nothing to do with anybody wanting to know how anybody else got gear. Its about rampant rule breaking. Plain and simple. Its not about getting an advantage in PvE, its barely even about the market. Its about people broke the rules and should be dealt with so when the opportunity arises in the future, less people will break the rules as opposed to more people breaking the rules. Whether you like the rules or not doesnt matter. The fact is we all agreed to follow those rules. When you break the rules, theres consequences. In this instance, a company chose to stop providing service to some [players or backdated their gear and crafting logs. Its not about the gear. Its about breaking rules. Thats all.
  9. I would say its more "entitled" to know the "company" in question wont allow "cheaters" to abuse and ruin their product. I honeslt think the vast majority of the people calling for stiffer punishments or punishments at all before Bioware handed them out, were wanting to see that the company they pay will follow their own service agreement and take control of their own game. It had nothing to do with the "cheaters" themselves. I dont care who broke the rules (so long as it wasnt somebody on my raid team haulting our progression because of their ban) only that the company wasnt going to stand for rule breaking.
  10. If you dont beleive me, heres my proof from another thread thats just like this one. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj89/deez11010/SWTORCSResponse_zpsafcf7df9.jpg
  11. The longest I have EVER waited was 2 days. In fact, all of my reporst are right at the 2 day mark so I;m thinking they have a 48 hour time fram for the report to at least be looked at. Then when its looked at troubleshooted or escelated. But not one single one of my reports has taken longer than 2 days for some type of action or personal reply. I dont mean the automated one, I mean an actual CS emailing me and talking back and forth with me. If its taking this long, either 1) You misrepresented the issue or mis tagged the issue so it now has to get redirected to the correct area (e.g. you tagged it as a bug when its harassment) 2) Your issue is a known issue thats already been addressed on the forums by a CS Rep (e.g. The Ravagers bug, not the exploit) 3) Your issue isnt game changing and so incredibly minor that it can go to the bottom of the priority pile (e.g. my hair is supposed to be dark brown, not light brown) 4) Your issue is a non issue and they are making sure you arent trying to abuse the system. (e.g. people spamming reports just to see if they get a response so they can make posts like "I had a ticket in for over a week with no response")
  12. Since not everybody who is reported for spamming is a gold farmer, there should be a new section for us to report those accounts for easier referencing allowing whoever is in charge of handling gold farmer accounts an easier way to finding them. Give us a "Report Gold Farmer/Gold Spammer" option in the drop down menu when we right click on their names. Or, make it so theres an additional drop down menu for when you click "Ignore", select the reason. Like click "ignore" and then you get "Personal Reasons" and "Spammer" and "Gold Farmer/Seller" to choose from. Also should add an "Ignore for account" listing when you right click on somebodies name. So you dont have to ignore the same people 12 different times per server. Also give us an "Add friend for account" so you dont have to add the same friends list 12 times per server.
  13. Like I said before, I dont craft and I have my own raid team so those who did this didnt effect me, but the reason I call it wrong is because it was stated in the ToS and RoC that it was wrong and we all agreed to abide by those terms. So basically they are breaking their agreement which is why I feel its wrong. And like I said earlier, the only reason I think there should be harsher punishments is because if you dont even know you were punished, what good did it serve? Those that are crying ban for 1 offense is quite unrealistic. If I were handling it, me personally I would have done 1-2 uses of the exploit, both an in game and personal email letting that person know it was against the rules and a bannable offense. 3 uses I would have suspended for 2 weeks (many people I know only log in 2-3 times a week at best so a 1-3 days suspension doesnt even effect them) 4-5 uses a 1 month suspension 6+ permanent ban. Tho I would have let them keep their gear. I'd rather they kept their few pieces but not be able to log in than simply take their pieces and allow them to find another exploit to abuse, because if the punishment isnt harsh enough, they will keep doing it. But, it is what it is. Hopefully people will at least know and hopefully this minor punishment will be enough to deter people from doing the next inevitable one.
  14. So you're going to tell me that you played your character until at least level 55 and got the gear at least high enough to go into that operation but you didnt know it was wrong to go in with all your characters and just loot the boss over and over without actually playing in the operation?
