  1. At the early levels, it really is just a lot of button mashing. You use almost all of your abilities every cool down until the targets are all dead. Reading a guide is a great way to lay some groundwork. You get an idea for your endgame rotation and start doing as much of it as you can with the abilities you have, and change it when you unlock new abilities. By the time you reach 50-60 your rotation should be locked in, but you won't get to execute it entirely, every fight. In essence, your rotation grows with you, and yes, it gets frustrating knowing there is an optimal way to execute your rotation, but don't let it get to you. Do the research, maybe write down the rotation from the guide and a few other notes, and keep them handy. Re read them when you get new abilities, and see how you can change it up. The guides also provide a good insight into how to gear. For leveling, pummeler gear, versatile aromorings/hilt, no letter on your mods, adept enhancements, and eviscerating or war hero crystals.
  2. I don't know about next expansion, but next story installment? I would wager that Theron is indeed a triple/quadruple/septuple agent. He got wind of this Order while they were seeking weak links in the alliance, or sliced his implants one, which would explain why he never tells you, because they're watching/listening. As for the Order, my bet is on something to the tune of... Tenebrae/ Vitiate/ Valkorion saw his defeat as a small possibility, so put a failsafe in place to active in the event of his death. Force sensitives, possibly vitiate's servants and former children (scourge and kira throw in, as infiltrators to the order, maybe tipped theron off to the order?) Guarding the remains/uninhabited body of T/V/V, with orders to begin a series of tasks once his death was felt through the force. If he succeeded in taking control of the outlander, he could stop it all with a command (since that didnt seem to be his plan from the start), or if he failed, they would be his vengeance. Hence his comment at the end of Kotet there. Not saying he is or isnt dead and gone for good, but this order of whatever being activated with a single purpose, to destroy the alliance and the eternal fleet since T/V/V no longer controls them, as his final /rude to the outlander. Edit: spelling.
  3. While I'm aware that a vast majority of the player base either aren't aware of the forums, or avoid them like the plague, I figured I would ask here anyway... partly because I'm at work and can't log into the game... Wondering what the overall interest in a low level (10-69) leveling/pvp guild would be. Aside from the basics of the question, the guild would essentially be a home for alts, a chance for networking, and a good way to earn some valor ranks on the way to 70... and a chance to learn to pvp with a new class or spec in a safe and encouraging environment. Basically try to get enough people on and playing to run lowbie war zones as a team, or split into teams of 4 and run separately in 4v4s or as a full team if pubs join, or possibly on opposite sides of a wargame. What would happen at 70? Well, that would be up to each player. Bail out and join their main guild, branch off on their own, start another toon and keep the ball rolling, or sit at 70 in the guild and do whatever while others catch up...just as a few examples. Just looking for some feedback here, or if there are already guilds out there like this, maybe to make some connections.
  4. I've played on several servers, especially since transfers opened, and BC has A LOT less complaints about watching the cut scenes. My PC lagged at one cut scene when I was running black talon on pot5, and I got cussed out for not spacebarring. Here, most people will ask before hand "spacebarring or watching?" In my experience. Either way, just a heads up to the group for common courtesy will go a long way.
  5. You have revas listed as an imperial guild on the list. While we have an imperial guild (The Fallen of Revas) No one raids in Fallen. The kill listings are showing blue, so the only place we're listed Empire is at the start where the guilds are listed. Our Guild Site.
  6. woah woah. back up, skippy. they're tying to help by making suggestions on how to keep all the records fair across the board, no need for slingin mud.
  7. Should check out the RP forums. Most of the players that post here are PvE/PvP focused. BC.org (link above) is where the RPers congregate. Best of luck.
  8. Isn't it past your bed time, squirt? No dessert tomorrow!
  9. So, I RPd here the other night and you guys are just terrible at it. I mean, seriously bad. You should uninstall the game and see if you can get your money back. It was terribad. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for being bad RPers. This is a mmoRPG after all. For shame.
  10. Much appreciated. I'll talk it over with the other officers/representatives and get back to you.
  11. Well, that means i've got the popular vote! Now to find a campaign manager to keep up with the demographics...
  12. I would like to throw my hat into the running for server overlord. I promise no new taxes. I vow to lower the price of exotic crafting mats on the GTN. I promise to uphold the traditions of zealous monarchs everywhere. Remember the sacking of Coruscant! (If you're imperial, remember it fondly, if you're republic, get angry) Vote Darksong, Server Overlord 2013!
