  1. Tried tried the 6th the 5th and the 8th 8:30 pm PST none of them worked.
  2. I'm sorry but this drives me insane. There are instances when talking to certain npcs like the Drommund Kas bounty quest giver my BH has a distinct lisp...this makes my ears bleed and skin crawl. I admit I'm not tech savvy on sound issues so I'm wondering if it's a setting I can adjust or do other people have this issue? I know I'll probably get some grief for this thread but I had to ask.
  3. Recently finished my partisan set and am pvp tanking for my guild. I am trying to figure out what if any mods/enhancements need to be swapped out of the stock partisan set to min/max it. I am using all endurance augs which I think is the right thing to do as well. Any constructive advice on this would be appreciated.
  4. Applied last week and going through the process. The most unique recruitment process I've ever been through. The interview questions are all over the map and have little to do with your level of uber game experience. This added an interesting flavor to the process kind of like Sweet Tarts on your Rice Krispees. Some of the questions are a little weird but I am weirder still so this was a fun little mini game in itself. So far the people in Pax seem to care a great deal about Pax and this is encouraging. The degree of structure through out the Pax organization is mind blowing . Someone put a lot of thought into what they've been doing over the last 11 years and again this is encouraging. Over all I wouldn't call the process put offish or annoying it's been fun. If however you're looking for a quick invite to a random big guild and don't care who it is you should probably keep looking. I say that because It seems these people really care about how they are viewed in the gaming community.
  5. Hello just returning to the game after a very long time gone. Trying to work on my class quest but have forgotten almost everything I've done for Barras up to the point I'm at. It's kinda killing it for me. Been trying to find a run down of the quest line on line but what I find is fragmented. Anyone know of a good recap of the quest i can read to refresh my memory? Don't hate I'm kinda old for a gamer and well you forget things when you get old 8P.
  6. Yup fun fights and rank are enough for me. Don't need the dog treat reward for rotting my *** in a computer chair for weeks on end getting min/max shinies.
  7. There is nothing competitive about the gear crutch.
  8. Yes I know what 50 pvp is like have several champ peices. But at least I don't have to stop and squat down for any reason what so ever. Mobility in pvp is win and when someone can totally shut you down by taking 2 steps behind a pillar and you have to "get up" and adjust and they take 3 more steps and los you again and you have "get up" again and adjust...you see where I'm going.
  9. Erm break los? I mean hell at least it's the only ranged dps class that actually gives you a warning you're about to get hit. Why they thought this was good game design is beyond me.
  10. I have a 50 sniper and this post should get pretty entertaining. If you have no support it's painful as you have no easy faceroll escape buttons like so many other ACs. With support it can be fun. Of course you can always go lethality and spam grenades and cull then post screen shots of you doing top damage... not very sniper like though imo. Now that I have another toon comming up on 50 <Jugg> I realize it's laughably easier to have fun on the Jugg.
  11. I was under the impression that aoe taunt doesn't work in pvp is that incorrect?
  12. @OP Just remember these are the players that can't handle a straight up in your face fight. They're the ones that need to start every fight with at least 3 things in their favor and even when that's not enough they get their "I quit" insta combat vanish wuss button. Stealth, CC, high dps, heal, insta vanish and more. This takes true skill to excel at. /sarcasm
  13. I would like to know why when a sniper is about to take a snipe shot the target gets a target mark on them which they can see? Really all it that does is tell them to los . No other range damage comes with such an obvious warning. I don't get a lightening bolt imposed over my character when a sorc is about to force lightening me. I don't get a rocket imposed over my toon when I'm about to get hit by a tracer missile. I don't get a picture of a rock imposed over my toon when a sage is about to hit me with one. Whats the deal with the warning our shots give? Another question why do sniper shots have travel time and gunslingers don't? I've lost a lot of close fights do to this.
