  1. Who is this for, exactly? The low-end player? No, their gear doesn't qualify. The high-end player? No, they've already sailed past these levels. The middle-end player? Maybe. But where are the artifact mods and armorings? How does this actually help with gearing? I suppose having the stats associated with these offerings would be helpful.
  2. I assume that's what the Jawa in the Cartel Bazaar is for. For 500 of the purple Jawa junk you'll get a 30-minute buff that increases (allows?) the plans to drop. But the only benefit to getting max rep is a title and completion of part of an achievement towards Zell's Outlaw look. And we have no idea if it works after the season. Additionally, it's probably way more of a grind at that stage than doing a few weeklies now.
  3. If the event pattern holds true, the Gree Event should occur on the week beginning February 8. Which is ideal given that that is a fairly easy Conquest [just kill Gree droids] and should help players reach the upcoming 100k point requirement for guild rewards distributed after 7.0 launches on the subsequent week.
  4. But they have posted it. Here it is: https://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20220106 They seem, however, to have omitted that a bonus run of The Feast of Prosperity was to have begun on the 11th.
  5. I concur with this as well. Character customizations should be, well...customizable! Having a slot that doesn't dye diminishes the value of the product. Please correct this oversight!
  6. Were you able to find the Galactic Seasons page? Barely. If I haven't had read that the page would be appearing in a second tab somewhere I wouldn't have found it as it is easily overlooked on the log-in reward screen. Were you able to locate your Galactic Seasons Priority Objectives in the Galactic Seasons screen? No. it kept directing me to some random Conquest objective. In the Conquest screen there is a list of tentative Daily and Weekly Priority Objectives. These are all denoted as "PO: Name". What feedback do you have regarding the current list of objectives? David's post seemed to indicate that there would be only four objectives available. Instead, there was a laundry list of objectives and there didn't seem to be any distinction between them being weekly or daily. How do you feel about the cadence and points offered in GS? I can only go by David's post since no points were rewarded on PTS. Only the checkboxes incremented on the Galactic Seasons page. The two objectives I did complete were done in about the time he had stated. For subscribers, the pace seems fair as one could bypass the weeklies and still get the maximum points in plenty of time. For non-subscribers, it would probably be grindy and stressful and given the amount of restrictions already in place I would recommend that non-subscribers be granted the same amount of points as subscribers. What other general feedback would you would like to tell us? I realize this is a work in process but this implementation seems closer to 'needs tweaking' as opposed to 'complete overhaul' so well done! Look forward to future updates and the system itself.
  7. On one hand, I do applaud the final removal of infinite crafting objectives. Infinite repeatable anything will always get abused on some level and having to devote time to investigate and punish players seems a bit of a waste. Better to not have the issue to start with. On the other hand, I do think the new rewards are a bit paltry. Once again, we go from one extreme to the other. Before, crafting plays a large part of Conquest. After, it's almost negligible. Bioware seems to come at this as if we only have one character. Legitimate crafters tend to have multiple characters due to one of the primary ingredients in end game crafting is obtained exclusively through Conquest. This will probably have a devastating effect on players who exclusively craft, or new players who are trying to break into economy. Bump up the rewards a bit and we would see crafting as more of a supplementary role where it should be. Currently it is a dominate role. That is wrong. After these changes, it'll have a non-existent role. That also is wrong. I can't really speak to development goals since you never publish them and probably don't have any to start with, but I would state that the goal should be that a third of the points should come from PvE content, a third from PvP stuff and the last third from crafting. In short, I do like the changes, just think about the points a little better.
  8. That's Ubisoft? Looks like a microbrewery. Anyway, hope everyone is safe as it appears to have been a hoax. https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2020/11/13/possible-prise-dotages-chez-ubisoft-a-montreal
  9. These changes look promising and look forward to see how they pan out. I would go forward with these and scrap the new augments and maybe scrap the 1 millinillion Conquest points for teamed ranked weekly. Cheers!
  10. I don't think this needs to even be in the PTS. This is a bad idea all around. The augments are not needed and would only serve to alienate the playerbase. If Dxun MM and Ranked PvP need to be incentivised, then it's probably an issue with the design of those two items. Maybe make Dxun MM less buggy and random and maybe make the matchmaking in ranked more robust. Make these areas fun and more people would play them. If you guys want to work on augments, then how about the current ones? It's still too expensive and time-consuming to craft the top-tier 286's, even with readily available mats. Maybe have a look at crafting in general with the stupid three-step process to craft anything grade 11 and the buggy crew skills menu. Maybe have some mats drop from somewhere else besides Conquest [i dunno...maybe Dxun MM and ranked PvP?] In summary, don't add new augments. AT ALL.
  11. I can only speculate, but I surmise that there is some sort of server-side mechanism for certain in-game events that has to be seeded with information as to when these events occur. They were probably planning on doing this with Update 4.7, but since it got delayed the reel ran out of tape, so to speak. In retrospect, they should try to maintain the schedule a month or two in advance so as to account for such delays.
  12. The two are unrelated. The Nar Shaddaa Nightlife is where you have a rare chance at a rancor (among other items). When they ran it last year, interest was somewhat muted as they had the same rewards from the previous year. There was some expectation that if they did bring it back, they would at least update the rewards, but sadly it appears they forgot about it altogether. The Contraband Slot Machine is still around and you can play it if you either have the deco or visit a stronghold that has one.
  13. I'm going to have to give this a thumbs down. This seems to reduce the probability of getting items from the current pack while still not adding cartel certificates. Also the reduction in bronze items means that it would be even more expensive to unlock items across legacy. Frankly, this constant fiddling with the cartel market has about put me off of the whole thing. This latest series of changes seem to indicate that the team is just flying from the seat of their pants and just throwing up ideas and seeing which ones stick. What is so wrong with having stuff available on the market in a predictable fashion? This current series of packs was ridiculous. One pack was available for only three weeks while the current pack is on its seventh(?) week? Too. much. random.
  14. A couple of questions come to mind. Will instant level 60 characters start with craft skill level 500 or 550? Will there be any updates to Conquest/Stronghold crafted items?
  15. I imagine it's due to the fact that the weekly reset is an hour before the stated patch time. So, I guess we'll see how things are working after the patch. Right now, it looks like we'll have an hour of rakghouls along with its respective conquest. Honestly, it would have been better to have left it alone and slotted in the Gree next week.
