  1. You are again looking again from PVE survivablity point of view for Dark Maul. You know what is the one of the biggest survivablity point of Dark Maul in Arena, you can be healed while stealthed. You are tank tunneled, drop guard, pop med pack, resilience, vanish give your healer a little bit chance to top you before you go back into the fight. That possiblity to be healed in stealth is such a big game changer , plus the additional strenght of DM is that 4s mez on a 15s CD which is much better peel then spike and when you have that little bit burst from a tank when you are about to finish somebody. Yeah I was mentioning the inner peace talent in guardian tree which is giving %5 elemental/internal DR + 5s more Enure. And you know they rebelance classes in some games, if there is % 0.5 difference betweeen the performance values and you want argument me here that %3 is no problem? And this plenty of the time to guard switch thing, I played against teams that switch focus target the moment I switch my guard, trying to do that with constant stun, knockbacks, slows most of the time does not give me the luxury of channeling something before buff drops.
  2. I see on my Guardian that heal ticks for 3.7K HP 10 charges in a lucky day if 5 of them crit its 20K + normal ticks we are speaking 30K HP, so you should check your facts also. And yes BR DR for 15s is better then Guardian one but how many Guardian has lets look that Saber Ward 12 s (%50 def %25 DR - 180s CD), Warding Call 10s (%40 DR 150s CD), Enure 15s - %5 DR talented (nice buffer for the healer - 60s CD), Focused Defende h2f nough said (120s CD ), Guardian Slash 20s %3DR (20s CD), Reflect. As you see in most critical 60s of a fight a Guardian tank will have some sort of a DR and some other useful CDs and godly AOE mez which will neutralize every hard switch (I hate playing against teams with 3 Knights/Warriors). What Shadow has 15s BR %25 DR on 120s CD, Deflection 12s %50 Def (120s CD which fails more often it defend something) and Resilience 5s immunity (38s ish CD) and don't tell me Shadow Protection first of all nobody in competive arenas spec to it (Arena spec is 23/21/2 for low slash which is much better 4s stun on 15s CD then crapy spike 2s 20s CD then AOE damage reduction and Maul to burst) and every time other team hard switch you will be stunned so forget about refreshing Shadow Protection. Bioware statistics says who is the better Arena tank and you are objective enough you can find the reasons above.
  3. You are selling PVE arguments in PVP KBN. Focused Defense has some 200s CD so, what how many arenas are going that long. PVE fight goes like 8 mins then your arguments has a value but not in PVP, you die or win CD resets.. Now what is happening in PVP Arenas, with the uncleansable dots tank tunneling is the name of the game and inside of 180s match (which must be average duration I think) Guardian tank has hand down best tools for it. So you are in you Guardian tank, they are tank tunneling you, pop heal 2 full and you win your full health without your healer doing anything, if you have dots on u and your defensive CDs DR working against everything instead of a cheesy shield mechanic. And lets see what happens to a Shadow, pop %25 DR for 15s, Resilience, ohh dots re-applied, I 6K HP I restored is already gone, ohh they tab dotted everything I am getitng tone of damage guard damage, can't defend, can't shield anything.

  6. I have a funny situtation, when I look to my conquest screen, there are several missions but with some of them I get no progress, I am not exaxctly sure it is intended so I am reporting as bug. I will provide the screenshot later because I can't access my gaming computer at the moment. What happens is the following, for ex, I have a mission "kill 1000 NPCs in Makeb" I had accomplished that mission with my guildless Jedi Guardian, which I am trying to level it to 55 in Makeb. Then I switched to my Sith Assassin with a guild, complete TfB SM with the group finder, I finished the operation got the rewards for the Group Finder (30 Comms) but the mission "Complete SM Operation with GF" still shows 0. And it is not over there, before I PVPed little bit with my Guardian, 3 matches, there is a mission called "complete x WZs" now the number of WZs I completed witth the Guardian there displays on the mission but then after I switched to to my Assassin but the WZs I did with him didn't increase the number. I even completed my Weekly PVP with my Operative Healer that didn't increased the complete WZs count and it even didn't not updated the mission "Complete a Weekly Warzone". Same for the 'Weekly GF FPs' I did 2 with my Sin but they don't appear in conquest mission also. So only thing I think I am causing problem for the system, I had some of the activities with my guildless Guardian and some with my guilded imperial toons. I don't know what should be the intended behavior for the interaction of unguilded Rep and guilded Imp toons but I think something is not right. I will add the screenshot this afternoon.   7. How the insta whirlind effects this build waka? I read that they will attach that to Lightning Charge so survivablity of Deception + Insta WW. More hopes for 2 vs 1?

Only thing BIS thing with PVE Bolster was the MH/OH before while you could put a Power Crystal instead of Expertise and get some more Bonus Damage and you could place 69 barrel/hilts before without getting any expertise penalty to get some more white damage. Now while you get the expertise penalty while you are having any PVE elements in your gear, they leveled the playing field again. Oberon and a right PVE gear will be on same level, Brutalizer will be again be better like %5. And yes if you get double proc to Serependitious Assault and Focused Retribution you can get 10K discharges.
  9. The problem is certain combination of DPS make the tank obsolete. Lets say you have Vengeance Juggernaut, Deception Assassin and Pyro Powertech that is 3 AOE taunts and 3 single taunts which nearly means permenant %30 damage reduction plus excellent DPS from every one of them plus 2 of them in emergency can make a stance change without a huge penalty to share its HP pool and guard. It is really hard to convince yourself to bring a dedicated tank, only thing beats this combination is 2 smashers but they will be nerfed next release so who knows?
  10. 2 major points I guess, first I really think to be able shield critical hits that will help alot. What I really hated with the current power of smashers, guard the healer, healer eats 10000K Smash, I got 5K of it, plus 8K smash that I ate myself, 13K damage for a tank in one GCD. If I can shield the damage from the smash, I would get around 10K or so, which would be much more manageable. That brings another point, if the Bolster is going to stay, the guard damage that would be received should be calculated over tanks expertise and not from the expertise from the guarded person. At the moment I am not guarding anybody in regulars who are running around with PVE 78 gear. They are hit with 13--14K smashes it is not viable for any PVP tank share its HP pool for such hits. Following point can be little bit contraversial but I would also say, guard should prevent %50 damage to the guarded person but only %35 should be transfered to the guarding tank. Our HP pool didn't increase during 2.0 updates as the size of damage increase. Pre 2.0 %50 was working but I don't think it is not working anymore.

  12. Sry mate, u will not find any sympathy here.... I am not doing any high level crafting mainly supplying 20-40 bracket with earpieces, implants, barrels, armoring, mods and making around 1.5 mil$ per week.... And it is no grinding other then re-logging several alts, may be should concentrates these fields because there are under-supplied (believe me I can earn more, if I charge more, but I suffered a lot during leveling because lack of these items I am trying to keep things under perspective)... With so many F2P players now leveling in these areas there is huge demand so take look to the mark, if you want to earn money with crafting because as so many people said there is to much over capacity for lvl 63 items and there are established crafters (I go for all my stuff to Luviel, while he/she was the first one that started the free crafting and reliable and if he/she provides the item he/she is my crafter (other then Force Wielder 27 Hilt which still not discovered on this server ) So either find a Niche market (tip Force Wielder 27 Hilt) or accept this is an unregulated market in just adapts to supply and demand.....
  13. One more question, there was trick to use Columi Boundless Age and Campaign Boundless Age together (while they are on different levels they are not sharing 2 min Cooldown)... So that means you can activate Campaign BA and after 30s expired you can activate the Columi one....and 1 minute later Campaign will be ready again... Is this trick working for the proc ones (so 4.5s cooldown shared with let say between Campaign and Dread)?
