  1. I was just trying to decorate and the vast majority of the decorations are missing. I can't even see most of them if I select "all" when decorating. It gives me about 17 pages of decorations when I select "all" and "show all" in the decorations window, instead of the over 40 pages I should have when I look at "show available".

I think the Manaan Sh has the worst layout of the bunch sofar, so I think we need to put a different sh there and change the colors/details of the walls to manaan's style and put new backgrounds in the windows. The Coruscant/DK stronghold layout could be converted easily to suit Manaan. enter the Sh at what is currently the balcony and have the lower floors be underwater viewing areas. Similarly the Nar Shadda Sh could be altered easily to fit Manaan by simply changing the general style of the walls and removing the big outdoor patio area which would become an underwater garden like area, the large window in the main area of the Nar Sh would give an amazing underwater view. I think that these layouts and changes are far better than the mess we got in this last update, and would be far easier to implement than a complete rework. The current Sh is mostly chunks of the FP with all the decorations removed anyway, so why not just reuse a design that works and change the walls/floor/ceiling design. They could even fix some of the issues with hooks in the Nar Sh while they are at it.
  3. The possibility of a Manaan stronghold was one of the things I was most excited about in Swtor and one of the reasons that I still had my full subscription. Today, I canceled my subscription. The current Manaan stronghold is buggy, with random (unclothed) companions appearing and disappearing on the main level. It is also poorly laid out and has strange hook orientation. The layout and orientation turn what should have been the most beautiful stronghold to date into a pointless mess of wasted potential. The underwater viewing area (one of the biggest selling points of the Sh) has small windows, poor hook placement, and hooks outside that can't easily be seen from the windows. The upstairs is even worse with 1 massive room and one strangely shaped outdoor space with great views of 3 walls and a row of shrubs.. yeah. After thinking about it for a bit and talking to some friends I came up with a simple way to fix it, put a different sh there and change the colors/details of the walls to manaan's style and put new backgrounds in the windows. I would have been happier with a copied Cor/DK lay out with an underwater view area where the garage was or an altered version of Nar with windows underwater, but this is just a lazy mess. Most of it is just cut from the FP and the hook sizes/variety/placements are garbage.

  6. This is a rant, plain and simple. I had held off on playing War for Iokath till I finished some other missions... wish I had waited even longer.. Bioware what were you thinking with the choices on Iokath? The outlander is the most influential person in the known galaxy, one of the strongest people in history, and leads the most powerful known fleet/army so why is he/she forced to choose between the empire and republic on Iokath? Where is the "screw both of you, I'm taking/destroying the weapon." option? The empire and republic are still trying to rebuild and were just saved by the outlander and the eternal alliance's forces, they should be dancing in his/her shadow for favor not strutting around giving ultimatums and making demands. Of all the story choices in the game this one strikes me as one of the biggest mistakes/omissions sofar and completely broke my interest in the story. A very bad and clunky start to a new arc.

(Republic Guild) I created <Stardust Order> a little over a month ago to be a place for story driven Rp in a fun and relaxed guild atmosphere for all classes... sadly just after forming the guild life happened and I haven't been able to devote much time to the game due to work and lots and lots of house/car issues. Because of this, and because I don't see my life calming down anytime soon, I am looking for experienced people to help lead it. I believe in the idea that the guild was created on and hope to find people willing to help, even if it's just making it a fun hangout for people till I can get around to starting the story missions again. What we are: I created <Stardust Order> to be a story driven rp guild, meaning that people can write and lead their own missions and activities set within or outside of a general guild story. All types of characters are welcome, but characters must be believable (a 16 yr old jedi that is a master of all forms of saber combat, healing with the force and medical tech, and a can slice computers while shooting apples off my head with a blaster is NOT believable... I've seen people make characters like this before by the way) . Missions for Rp are things like: exploring an ancient tomb/temple, solving a string of murders, having a beach party, and training in the ways of the jedi or military training. I also want a place for people to hang out and run PvE missions together. Disclaimer: This is a brand new guild, I have a lot of experience in Rp and story writing and have high hopes for it, but its very new. People with Rp or Ops experience will be able to rank up very quickly. Will likely have a fully unlocked HQ very quickly, website is in the works too.
  10. If the problem is the tank or healer you'll know it long before the enrage. That one is a pain, hard to stay mobile enough with the mine things everywhere and the slugs. When I tank it I try to catch all the slugs and bring them to the boss for easy aoe kills, if you have a sage dps they should be able to take out the slugs in short order if they are all together. ..In my experience, its usually the dps' fault in pug groups... sorry sents/maras..
  11. I love the new HMs, I actually need to try again. The old HMs were boring as hell, even the bonus bosses were becoming routine. I haven't had a run that failed except in Manaan where half the group was under-geared, or when people quit after a single wipe. Though I haven't gotten a Tython run from gf yet.... I seem to get Manaan like 80% of the time. Before people complain about difficulty they need to make sure they aren't standing in the red flashing caution circles, or pulling mobs before the tank, or the dozens of other things that people do when they stop thinking or just aren't very good.
  12. This is for the developers.. Thank you for making HMs where people need to think and do their jobs correctly. Do not listen to all the belly aching from people who can't figure simple mechanics out. Fix the bugs, but keep the difficulty high. Complicated boss fights are fun and engaging. Please give us Elite coms in the 60 HMs. ... yes I know how much hate I'm gonna get from people who don't know how to play right, but it is how I feel.
  13. As a tank on the first boss it is possible to hold all 3 enemies, its not easy but its doable. If you can there is a good chance that the boss will be stunned by the droids most of the time, makes it a lot easier on you and your healer. I like to stay by the wall so that the dps and healer are behind the droids, if a droid gets your healer a few times the fight will be much harder.
  14. I'm tired of people crying about the Hms. It happens whenever a new fp comes out, remember the CZ ones before? They are hard, which makes sense since its "HARD" mode, they are supposed to be hard. Every time I run one I end up with a group of people, usually way under-geared, crying about how its impossible. Get your gear set, learn the mechanics and perform your role properly before you start complaining about how its impossible. Manaan is the one that people cry about most, the last boss specifically, and if your dps are in 172 gear it is impossible. But why are people running hms in gear that is worse than what they are given during the Revan story missions in the first place? In Tython the first boss is impossible if people stand in the big red warning circles and die..... so just move, duh. The rewards from the new hms are poor, coms specifically, but I'm sure the developers will fix that soon so its not worth dwelling on. In a few weeks everyone will have geared up and figured out the mechanics and they will be easy again, which is a shame since I enjoy a challenge in games.
  15. I play pub side, its not impossible to beat. The problem is that most people cant seem to think and fight at the same time, been seeing it in all the fps since 3.0 (even older ones). The rewards for the level 60 hms do suck though.
