I did it this year in january though as I said in my earlier post I bougt mine from a retailer back in the days when they still were being sold. It was on a shelf for quite some time.

I have it and I like it but I bought it back in the day on sale but even then I think it was too expensive but I thought to myself if I don't start playing I could sell it. I used it muuuch later since I didn't have the energy to sell it so what the heck. You can get everything as far as I know everything in game stuff but not obviously the physical ones. So what you are buying is the physical collectors edition thing for veeeery much. But to anwser your question it still works to activate it, I did it this year in january. If you buy one that has not been activated of course. But bare in mind that I bought mine from a real retailer not on ebay or places like it. For the digital things you can just "upgrade to the digital deluxe edition" for real money and the vip wrist band can be bought for 1 mil credits at the fleet cantina. So... so much for "collector edition" when it comes to the digital things. So it barrels down to what is the physical things worth for ya? For me.. not the price tag that it has.

yeah, and is there any good way to see which datacrons you have taken? The only ways I have found is: in legacy achivements but only for the first toon or the one with most progress In codex under planets you can see how many you have taken on each planet but not which ones >.< this is really frustrating, I really hope as you say that they will become legacy stored. Or fix a way to see which ones you have picked. Or have I missed something?

I have been playing for a bit more, but I don't feel you need to worry about it now unless you already are at the end game somehow, though if you feel lost in rotations I can recomend you check out: dulfy.net Though finding up to date information is hard, but the comunity around swtor is great. So ask around in merc forum and find a guild either through the forum, the game or google one. But parsec is the addon to go for yes.

I totally agree, though I think that it won't be that way though and here is why.. Charachters seperated in time are not allowed to interact with eachother. If that statement would to be true then for example you would not be able to sell things in GTN to anyone besides those in your timeline. You wouldn't be able to trade, play FP nor operations with ppl outside your timeline. I personally think that would take way too much coding and beta testing to bother with unless its like a whole new game and its just a character transfer. Then again, that is a huge risk since it would piss alot of players off unless they nail the **** of it which is a very small chance.

guilds tend to recruit at the starter planets, another option would be the fleet is a general meeting place. So go there is another option, general chat is dependent on where you are. Don't know if you can join chats or what that command would be.

is there a way to get rid of that limit? an unlock of somesort in the cartel market?

If I have understood everything correctly, you choose if you want your toons to go through to the new story line. So your crafters don't need to be there for everything under 60. Though they will be useless in some other way.. the new level cap will be 70. In other words new mats and schematics are to be expected and to craft for the end game you'll need to be apart of that. Though I don't know if they will **** things up (change) in the whole general game or just in the scope of 61-70. So lets pretend its just within those level, what they will changing to the crafting system with in within 61-70 you may be forced in there with them if the actuall crafter is needed to gather stuff. Otherwise its just to feed the crafters who stands out side at lv 60.

so if your subscription ends before 31 of august you need to but another, if your ends after your all good to get it. Goes for all of the new expansion. You get the rewards when the expansion is released. But do you need to start the quest line to get it? in other words, do you need to buy the expansion collect the rewards?

there is quests in which you get reputations tokens but often its flashpoints. My highest toon is 40 so I don't know much about that. Though when starting out I wanted a holotrainer in which you only can get by buying it from the gtn or buying it from the contraband resale vendor. I have managed to get enough rep and market certificates to buy it now, heres how i did it: Bought a hyper crate of explorer rim pack. Though all of the packs now should drop market certififcates. I got 4 market certificates exactly, which was the amount I needed for one. Then I gambled at the Contraband slot machinie until I became hero with them. Maybe spent somewhere between 50k - 100k. Those Items down there at the rep vendors are pay to get. good luck!

searching after guilds on the forums have been a good way for me to find good guilds. Another thing.. ppl go away on the summer so they don't sit around and play mmo's unless its whats summer is all about for them. So if guilds are kinda empty now well its to be expected. We can hope that the 12x xp will draw more players nearing the new expansion. well my best recomendation.. would be to think about the following: what are your ambitions for the guild? if you're going for a full fledge guild, you'll need a web site. clear rules and goals. Mumble/teamspeak server is something you'll also need for communication ingame. Something to keep in mind, just because your creating the guild doesn't make it better than others. Its the ppl in it that makes the guild so question is are those kind of ppl looking for a guild or already in one or even playing the game? Where do you find the ppl you and others want to play with? not trying to say I know any better but hope it helped in some way =) good luck! good luck!

well I'm going to ask fairly basic questions that might narrow in on where your problem lies: What kind of speed is your internet connection currently at? (use a site like this: http://www.speedtest.net/ ) does it match what you are paying for? Which server are you on and where are you playing from? do you have any other issues with your internet connection? how many others are on the same network as you? are they using up any bandwith? (playing, netflix, downloading) how are you currently connected to the internet? via a server or just a router to name a couple examples..

Hi When I first started out I was recomened to get one of these holotrainers for convinience while leveling up.. which have been like a science projekt for me since I haven't had 1.5-2 mil to draw out of my pocket on the GTN to get it. But I have now finnaly found out how to get it through the contraband resale vendor. If I buy Darth Malgus, he will apear in my collections for my imp toons.. My question is though will Satele Shan apear for my rep toons? Or do I have to buy both???? Or can I use darth malgus on rep toons as well? I have just managed to get my 4 market certificates through packs and now grinding my rep on the contraband vending machine up to friend. I'm split in which I should buy if it isn't so I get both. I just want to say thanks in advance, you all have been such great help =) Swtor may not have always great updated information but the community shines brightly in its stead!
