  1. I personally like the game as is, have liked it throughout all the changes since day one and I don't see any reason why we need any type of interference from Disney. All Disney would do is close it down and then those that have been complaining will move on to another mmo and complain about that one and the cycle will continue. Bio-ware doesn't have to cater to every body, and they should't have to. I never understand why people play games they don't seem to like and why people complain so much. It is just a game, and if you don't want to play, quit playing. If a person wants to take the time to develop another mmo into their own image that they feel would be far superior to this one then they should, but people will complain about that one. Just let those of us who like to play, play the game as is and when changes come we will adapt and not whine to mommy or daddy about how our bank account is in the negative and they need to borrow money.
  2. I remember how the game was when we didn't have any boosts from multiple legacy toons. When if if you didn't know how to play your chosen class you had a tendency to have to re-spawn on one or more occasions. Also depending on what class you played you didn't have a companion until near the end of the starter world. Even then, you didn't always start with a healer so you would have yourself and another dps to play around with and that was without any legacy boost. That being said, I thought I wouldn't like the new level sync, but I am a big fan of it as it is. I have 16 toons and have leveled only 6 to max level. The reason being is because when I got to level 40ish, I just couldn't push myself to go thru that many quests again. Oh! Before that I had 20 toons and I decided to delete 6 of them before the last update. I have started a new toon to see what the leveling would be like and I absolutely love it. I know I will be able to get thru the 40's to 50's much faster and without quitting as it burns me out. I will level all my other toons with much more satisfaction now. I guess I am saying that I agree that the new level sync is great and please don't nerf it. I can finally do all those quests I couldn't do before and I can enjoy my toons I left at 36 or 42. Thank you bio-ware.
  3. Okay, I'm so used to doing all the quests after having 5 level 55's I didn't even think to read that it was only for class quests. Thanks alot
  4. I have pre-ordred the reven expansion and was under the impression that starting now, we gain the 12x xp gain, not on november 2nd. So far my toons don't have that xp boost. Am I missing something?
  5. The one thing that I have had a hard time understanding since game release was how one could take damage while riding a speeder bike.
  6. By far the best anniversary rewards for a game were given in Star Wars galaxies. Bio ware doesn't seem to get the idea that an anniversary is more than just fireworks, but it's a chance to have some truly rare pieces within a game.
  7. I play on two types of computers and both have no problem. When I'm away from home trucking I play on a laptop that is nearly two years old on my cell phone's data service. At home I play on a computer that is a year old, but is decked out with 16 gb memory, 7970 video card, and a 6 core processor and all the bells and whistles. My laptop by far is not nearly as powerful as my computer and even with the update and running in Makeb, my computer I get around 65 fps and on my laptop I get about 45 fps. So, i don't understand why your having problems with fps in the game. The game seems to work fine for me and has since the beginning of the release.
  8. I'd just like to say that i'm completely satisfied with the expansion as I have experienced it so far. i took my level 50 sorcerer in there and I went ahead and did a little exploring. I climb some mountains and I end up seeing a beautiful city in front of me and tons of stuff to destroy. I noticed as I kept going to my objective, I had found another path other than the one that everybody else was taking to get to the objective, and it was beautiful. The graphics are so much better than before, as are the lighting affects and reflections. i am very pleased and thank the dev's for working so hard at making it something I'm glad i invested in.
  9. I agree about the achievements, If Turbine has done anything right with Lotro and DDO, it is the achievement system. You have real rewards and real reasons to kill tons of mobs and the like. I am glad that the achievement system starts at level one as well, and not just geared for level 50's. Saying that, i sent my level 50 Assassin into Koriban and completed the Koriban achievements and it would have been nice to have gotten an exclusive mount or even armor sets. I'm sure Bio-ware will bring it in eventually, and I am an achievement junky and I spent 3 days on tattoine alone with a level 33 vanguard, killing everything in site. I could have sent in my other toons, to include my 50's, but achievements make things so much better for MMO's.
  10. I actually had a moter drop in a hard mode flash point last night and I won the roll for it. I was surprised to see something like that in the loot table.
  11. So, you think programming a new system should take just a day or two just because people complain about it? Thing s take time to implement and hash out, also what sort of project doesn't have discussion time and planning time then implementing the resolve. This isn't a magic wand where they can just fix it right at the very moment that people complain or whine about a problem. Obviously they have listened, it just took some time to fix it on top of everything else they are bringing out.
  12. Sweet, it's about time. Now only if they would bring reputation for every planet starting at level 1. Not too keen on it all being level 50 content.
  13. I've played my immortal jug since jan 2011 and I love it. I tried the dps jug, but it is just not the same and it's not as powerful of a dps as the marauder. The only draw back of being a tank that I've found is that sometimes healers want to be dps and the dps want to be tanks. All in all, it is my most favorite class/build to play in the game.
  14. I am enjoying it as well, and would like to see more like this one.
  15. I play Lord of The Rings Online regularly as a life time player. When free to play came out, they had tons of restrictions for the people who chose to play without paying a month to month subscription. Even today the restrictions are there and as a player who do not pay are severely restricted by what they can do. I mean, I run around with people who can't cross a border of a river just because they don't have the expansion pack. That area that the person wants to go into doesn't have a great big wall that is apparent to the person until they try to pass it. Restrictions within a free to play game is a norm and they shouldn't get all the kicks we pay to play players receive. I mean, though it seems the world is focusing on entitlements and all, we are not entitled to anything for free. Nothing is free in life, and nothing in a game should be free either, it just isn't good business sense to give everything you have for free and expect to make any money. I mean, utopia is just a dream.
