  1. EXCELLENT ! ! Thank you very much. Its well hidden, especially for those of us who have done it before from the mission terminal. As well ... at the end of the Ziost chain it specifically told me to go to my "mission terminal" in order to start the KoTFE/KoTET missions. Take care
  2. I cannot play the KoTFE/KoTET content because it will not give me the mission to start this content. My Sith Juggernaut is level 65. I cannot complete "Rise of the Hutt Cartel" because the "Descent into the Core" mission on Makeb is hopelessly bugged and BW will not fix it. I completed all of "Shadow of Revan". I completed all of the evil Emperor on Ziost chain. I even completed all of the HK-51 assassin droid quests. I want to start the KoTFE/KoTET content but it is not available on my mission terminal. It will only offer me the Dread Master quests on Omicron which I do not want to play (This toon is level 65 already ... and should have been allowed to play the KoTFE/KoTET by now, but it has never been offered. Yes I am a subscriber, and have have been for quite some time.) I have the mission for Ilum which I outleveled LONG ago, and it will not let me abandon. It also will not let me abandon the Makeb mission line, even though it is impossible to complete. So HOW CAN I PLAY THE KoTFE/KoTET content from this point ??? If I am not allowed to play the game content, then I see no reason to keep subscribing to a game that refuses me access to the content that I am paying for. (I have previously completed the KoTFE content on another character.)
  3. I think this mission is bugged for everyone. There was another thread that was started earlier about it already. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=902624
  4. Likewise The "Descent into the core" mission on Makeb is hopelessly bugged and cannot be completed. Without completing this mission the entire Makeb story arc cannot be completed. I have killed the "Regulator Deep Assault Commander" at least 4 times and wave after wave of minions. Spend at least 20 minutes sitting here killing everything in sight. The Boss mob never spawns and so it cannot be killed to end the mission. My character progression is halted, and I am not impressed.
  5. Your advise is welcome, not annoying. Thank you again. I typically do use Ataru but I was trying to change anything that i could to try to make "Slash" reappear. So I tried turning Shii-Cho back on. I will return to Ataru again.
  6. I will try your suggestion and fill the void with Blade Rush. Fingers crossed. THANK YOU for your help. This has been a frustratingly obscure thing to find buried in an ability tree mouse over text box only. It is not mentioned in the patch notes which I did read multiple times.
  7. Thank you for your thoughts, but I have another JK Sentinel ... and she is not missing "Slash". There is no mention in the release notes of "Slash" being removed or replaced. My rotation is really gimped without it ...
  8. Since this post is receiving no replies at all, and doubtless people are thinking that I'm not looking in the right place ... here is a pic of my JK's ability list, and a pic of my trainers full JK ability list. "Slash" SHOULD be listed right after "Shii-Cho Form" . But its completely missing. http://i60.tinypic.com/1zokz8y.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/24kxt3n.jpg I have other JK toons and they are not missing "Slash". Only my Togruta JK is missing this main ability. I'm getting no help from CS whatsoever ...
  9. About a week before the expansion download I created a Togruta JK . JKs start with 2 basic fighting abilities. Strike and Slash. Ever since the expansion download my Togruta JK has NO slash ability. Its not on my hotbar. Its not in my ability list. Its not on my trainer. It is completely **GONE**. I submitted a ticket explaining all this and got a wonderful PFO response. Yup, that's right. Even a fully paid subscriber account cannot use the in-game ticket system to report game problems. The fail just never ends.
  10. I totally agree. I played CoH/CoV for years and the sidekick system they had was fabulous. You could de-level to help your low level friend with key missions or story arcs ... or you could bounce them up to your level to take them on a foray into something totally new and eye-opening for them. Either way they received rewards on par with their true unmodified level. I helped countless others in game this way and got my mentoring badges while having great fun ! Such a system would be a boon to SWTOR as it would welcome newcomers, get them engrossed in the game, and give vets a new way to adventure. Win-Win !
  11. I have been bitten by this bug again today. I had reversed engineered some barrels and the blue recipes did not get lost so I though maybe I would be ok to continue R/E other things. Still on my armstech crafter. I reverse engineered some rifles and got the blue recipe and then began to gather the mats to create a blue one ... while waiting for my companion to come back from a mission to get the mats my instance queue popped and I went off to run a PUG instance ... when I returned to my starting point after finishing the instance, I opened up my crafting window to continue with my efforts to create the blue version of the rifle ... but the recipe was now *gone* I DIDN'T EVEN LOG OUT !! the failure of this company to reply to this thread detailing such a serious issue in their own official forums is very poor customer support, plain and simple. PS. I don't speak German, but I ran their reply through google translation and got the following result shown below . It does not sound very promising. As a software developer my own opinion is they have a poorly written database or data abstration layer. A very similar problem used to happen often back when the game released >> If you created a toon named "Fred" and then deleted it and rerolled it again as "Fred" ... nobody could add "Fred" to their friends list (it actually used to say no such character exists even when it was online at the time) ... because it could not properly index the new character and could only see the first one that had been deleted. They eventually fixed it, but it took them a good long time... I am shelving this armstech toon indefinitely. I do not have the time (and money) to waste on such a pointless exercise. ================================================ Hi all, the suddenly disappearing plans have already been forwarded to the development team, so that as soon as possible can work on a solution for this. Unfortunately, I can not call this time frame in which it will be resolved. First, the exact cause can be identified. I can understand how frustrating this can be, especially if you just want to pull up a new profession and then discovered the missing recipes for Next Skill. Please have a little patience, however, while we work on the solution. Thank you for this. ===============================================
  12. ^ This Happened to me today. I lost 3 recipes which I had learned earlier in the day by reverse engineering.
  13. Yes I had this happen to me today. I reverse engineered some blasters resulting in three (3) different prototype recipes. I sent my comps on some missions and got mats to make one of these prototype blasters and successfully created one. I logged out. Did some RL errands and had supper. I logged back in and all three (3) prototype recipes I had learned earlier in the day where *gone* I still have the prototype blaster I created however, sitting in my inventory. The info on the item says it was made by me. Since I cannot have created it without the recipe it (imo) is proof enough that something erroneous occured since I could not have created it otherwise. I submitted a ticket regarding this problem. I will update this thread if/when I get a response. ... UPDATE !! ... As promised here is the response I received 3 days later (A PFO form letter) :: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ticket Number 6854061 : Closed SWTOR CSR: Thank you for submitting a Bug Report! Bug reports will not receive a response as they are automatically forwarded to Quality Assurance. IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL HELP beyond your initial bug report, please submit a new Help Ticket under another category to reach a Customer Service Agent. Otherwise, you will not be contacted further regarding this issue. Thank you for the report and for playing Star Wars: The Old Republic! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ... or in other words "Fine, you told us it's broken. We've added your input to a mountain of other issues we don't care about. Now please shut up and go away. Thank you."
  14. Hard to say. BW / EA seem to be trying to alienate as many customers as possible lately with recurring forced name changes. Heaven forbid they should lengthen the character name string length and allow first and last names.
