  1. Here's my part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NqLLdC ONLY thing i was considering was the r9 280 for the gpu instead of the gtx 760 anyone got any last minute tips for me before i pull the trigger on this? THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND PATIENCE!
  2. considering these power supplies at the moment: http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/compare/antec-power-supply-tp650c%2Ccorsair-power-supply-cs750m%2Ccorsair-power-supply-rm750/
  3. Here is my latest part list- http://pcpartpicker.com/user/JediObiJohn/saved/VgNxFT If you have any suggestions im more than open to them! My main concerns/thoughts on this build: STILL NOT SURE ON PSU I am also considering a Radeon R9 280... -What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible: >Literally all i am playing at the moment is SWTOR. I would like to play at least on HIGH even during raids (not sure if possible for $700). I think eventually i will be playing other games but for now that is it. Since i dont know what games i would like to play in the future i would like something that is upgradable, a pc that i could replace parts without scrapping the whole thing. -What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes? $1000 -When do you plan on building/buying the PC? >This month. (if i need to save up more money in order to play on high or max settings then i would appreciate a quote on how much it would take!) -What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? >if it means i will able to reach High settings any easier- I have access to a pretty cheap monitor my kind friend is giving me, mouse, keyboard that will do in a pinch .. If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? >Cheap stuff- logitech wireless keyboard, kensington mouse #k64325, unsure on the monitor, but i have an old tv with hdmi i could use -Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? just wanting to play SWTOR at least on high settings even during raids. Extra info or particulars: THANK YOU ALLL for your patience and encouragement, so cool to learn about all this stuff. before this forum i was clueless.. still clueless but totally intrigued and learning! haha thanks again.
  4. yes, no need to factor in additional cost for building labor as i am trading work teaching guitar lessons for building this computer
  5. >Here is my current build link: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/JediObiJohn/saved/BZrRsY Please let me know if i should A. post this anywhere else for better visibility or B. Change anything on my part list for better performance. >My main concerns/thoughts on this build: Maybe need to spring for an SSD and an i5 processor? 7. Posted this to r/buildapc and they came up with this build- would love to hear what you guys thought http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qRPzXL heres my original post on what i was looking for: What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using. Literally all i am playing at the moment is SWTOR. I would like to play at least on HIGH even during raids (not sure if possible for $700). I think eventually i will be playing other games but for now that is it. Since i dont know what games i would like to play in the future i would like something that is upgradable, a pc that i could replace parts without scrapping the whole thing. What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes? $700 When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy. This month. (if i need to save up more money in order to play on high or max settings then i would appreciate a quote on how much it would take!) **What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? -if it means i will able to reach High settings any easier- I have access to a pretty cheap monitor my kind friend is giving me, mouse, keyboard that will do in a pinch ..other than that i dont have anything. (is HDMI output an option? could use my tv as a monitor?) Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location? US- Tennessee- Not close to a microcenter If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated. Cheap stuff- logitech wireless keyboard, kensington mouse #k64325, unsure on the monitor, but i have an old tv with hdmi i could use if thats an option Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU? no idea how to overclock.. newbie here.. Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc) just wanting to play SWTOR at least on high settings even during raids. Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components? obviously everyone wants something cool.. im no fool- i know that cool looks come with a pricetag. there is a case i thought was pretty cool looking but have no idea if its too small or whatever- anything similar would be great- but i dont want anything that would limit me down the road- ill take a giant gray box if i have to. heres the link just for giggles- http://pcpartpicker.com/part/thermaltake-case-vn40006w2n Do you need a copy of Windows 7 or 8.1 included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference for one or the other? yes- whatever works best with SWTOR Extra info or particulars: Im sorry i am pretty clueless about all this, grew up a mac guy.. but i really appreciate any help you all could provide. Thanks again! PS- is cyberpower pc a good site? i heard they put it all together for you?
