  1. So, ive been trying the new space missions and there seems to be "issues" I broke down and spend 1.5 mil on the new Grade 7 upgrades and they are still very difficult but not in a good way. I find this strange because the space missions used to be fun but now they are just frustrating to the point of aggravation. If there a reason for this change in direction? Why the decision to punish players for "enjoying" an element of the game? It almost feels like the devs said "NO! you arent having fun correctly! Here! Let us ruin it for you!" Not impressed...

  3. So I just played a game on my alt sorc and noticed that i was unable to land a 5k heal for the medal... strange... All buffs were on, my rakata resolve stim was on... (crits) dark infusion, 4500, dark infusion 4500, darkinfusion 4500... ***? Get out of warzone... same gear, same stim on... (crits) dark infusion, 5500, dark infusion 5500, dark infusion 5500... ***?! My stats and statistics seemed to be the same in and out of WZ, but this is just BS... Can someone confirm this was a nerf or point out that it is a bug? Bioware seems determined to nerf sorcs to the point of being unplayable...
  4. First response: Huh? There are greater game breaking issues. *** 1. Classes are broken First of all, lets talk about all the class nerfs/buffs that have DESTROYED months of work. You level a character over a month, spend months gearing it in raids of grinding pvp (will talk about this later) and then in one patch you are rendered useless. I have been through this with an operative and now a sorcerer. Both classes are literally worthless in terms of balance against other more powerful classes (aka powertech and juggernaut). What am i supposed to do? Level a 3rd character just to watch you nerf the crap out of that and buff a 4th class? Developers need to seriously consider BALANCE as a PVP and a PVE issue. Why should I bring a DPS sorc to a raid who will get buried by a DPS powertech due to fight mechanics and abilities? 2. Excessive PVP Grind and the Gear Gap I know there are time sinks, but this is ridiculous. First, you need to GRIND your base Battlemaster gear (which was a LOT worse pre-1.2) and then you need to pay 3x as much for war hero gear thanks to turn in ratios of 3:1 for rated coms and a broken pvp warzone system. Has anyone considered that I dont want to spend a week grinding pvp for 1 piece of gear? Furthermore, what happens when you re-enter the pvp system? I stopped playing my main after 1.3 and re-entered the PVP warzone system with a significant gear gap that was unbridgeable on my server. How the hell am I supposed to go against people wearing AUGMENTED War Hero gear while im wearing recruit gear and grinding towards war hero? You get slaughtered! Why bother? Is that fun? Is that a quality game experience? Why not just roll an assassin and AFK my way to gear like everyone else is doing?! There is no skill involved. As noted on my previous 2 points its all class selection and gear! 3. Fix the Money System in regards to Legacy and Implementation What is the purpose of credits in this game? The GTN is a joke and you have to stop and ask yourself WHY the Legacy system was imposed on us with rank AND money requirements? If the average player has 1 million credits, is this yet another time sink? If this is they case, why is your entire economic and leveling system just a giant time sink? A time sink play system is not enjoyable. It is exactly that: a sink. You are wasting your time (money, experience, enjoyment) with no something which you have no real joy in. Why are we playing a game to do things we do not enjoy? Has anyone addressed the issue of playing this game to have FUN?! *** You dont believe me? Tell you what devs: go queue for a warzone... better yet, go try to do daily quests and see the level of players that are out there right now trying to get by. They are under geared, under skilled, and have selected classes you have discarded as "support" by making them under powered. Is this the player experience you envisioned when you started the SWTOR project 3 years ago?
  5. What ever happened to the proposed "coplay" system that one of the pre-release videos show cased? Specifically, I could be level 40 and my friend who is level 20 could "companion" me so my abilities were downgraded that i could run flashpoints with him without destroying his XP and leveling progress? This seems like a pretty critical issue right now with a lack of new players coming to the game and a hesitation to be "power leveled" or run through instances by higher level characters
  6. See, this is an excellent observation. Someone said it best in another thread: This game spend 3 years in development and still produced a lot of unpolished unfinished content. Its like they made an MMO that would have been good in 2008 when they started it. Now? it feels like its 2-3 years behind.
  7. I just quit last night and it had nothing to do with D3 or GW2... 1. Patch 1.2 destroyed my class (sorc) and it took this long to fully realize it. 2. Server population and Class Nerfs destroyed PVP (no one queues and when they do pop, its all melee all the time) 3. Raiding stopped. I was in a guild of 200 people and a raid hasnt made all week. People left and it left HUGE holes 4. Nothing to do. No raiding, No Pvp. No fun! *PLEASE READ THIS* I really liked playing my sorc, but my class never recovered from the changes in 1.2. The game was all about melee. As for healing sorcs, they quit when healing became a choir instead of an enjoyment. This is a game, you did not need to make it more difficult. My alt turned out to be a waste of time as well as operatives have little to no survivability now. So my option is to roll a marauder or juggernaut, maybe a powertech or mercenary? No thank you I cant see playing another class until a random patch decides to make it unplayable. The game stopped being fun, progress stopped, and its to a point where we have to train new people or respec veterans every week just to make an EV or KP raid. Nope. Sorry. I already have a job that feels like work. I dont need another one. Good luck and email me if you every fix your broken *** game. Thank you
  8. Hi! Im a Sorcerer! (waits for laughter to end). I just wanted to bring a few things up and see if there is a solution. I play Imp side on JekkJekkTarr and things have gotten out of control. 1. Since all of the Aussies left our server, we only get PvP queues for about 2 hours a day in the level 50 brackets. (not even 16 people queue up imp side during the day so no action for hours) 2. Premades seem to roll the people that queue for pvp now because of class and coordination issues. (hint: A Jedi 3 shot me last night and i have 1k expertise and 16k health... how?!) People are quitting. Are there any plans to fix these issues? Are there any plans to merge servers to increase populations so we can actually queue and play the game? Or are we all supposed to reroll on a populated server? Any information or suggestions would really help. Thank you
  9. Its not the fact that its dying, all MMOs undergo periods of growth and decline, but this is more of a reason WHY its dying. All the same bugs remains while new bugs are being constantly introduced. PVE: This last weekend we run SOA NM, and the entire floor still doesnt drop. Our main tank gets thrown into a pillar, and the boss instantly despawns. One of our healers is flying in phase 2, and she falls through the world on the transition. We still run into invisible lightning balls, we still pretty much base the encounter on RANDOM LUCK that it wont bug out and wipe us or despawn. 4+ months now and we still have to pray for LUCK to beat an encounter? Come on... fix your broken encounter... PVP: DPS casters got nerfed, healers got nerfed, melee DPS are ungodly powerful. Marauders and Juggernauts walk the earth like unstoppable killing machines (really? 8k hit on 1000 expertise defense 20% damage reduction + armor 20% damage reduction?) Not all PVP WZ wins count towards daily quests. Not all PVP WZ played count towards daily quest. More bugs get introduced while existing bugs continue to go unaddressed. After awhile people who have been playing MMOs for awhile look at this as a broken game and move on. MMO players have been at this for what? 14 years now since Asheron's call? Star Wars Galaxies veterans remember the entire game changing completely every 18 months. We dont want that experience again. Logging in and finding my talent trees changed and skill points reset just set the table for a BAD precedent in MMO end user experience. Im a player, not a customer. I can easily find someone else to give my $15 a month to that will more suit my needs. Maybe, just maybe, Bioware can address this before they throw out the baby with the bathwater
  10. So, now that the entire world has started rolling Marauders and Juggernauts, has anyone found that DPS Sorcs/Sages seem to have a lot shorter lifespan? Im starting to wonder what the viability of this class will be going forward as we are the ONLY class who is forced to wear light armor and we get hunted like drunk college girls at fraternity parties. Can someone please lend their thoughts on where our class goes from here? Thank you

My concern is that the 2 classes i play are getting their brains splattered out with a nerf bat in patch 1.2 Its ironic that BOTH characters i leveled and geared are going to be virtually worthless in PVP (dps sorc) and PVE (healer merc). Im wondering if i want to waste the time rolling a melee class and leveling it up, gearing it and grinding valor or should i just call it quits when 1.2 drops. I cant be the only person considering this.
  12. In your opinion, which class scales best with gear upgrades? Its going to be a melee class, but the argument between Sith Marauders vs Sith Juggs seems to go on and on....
  13. Female body type 4 is the one that looks like Chloe Kardashian right? She does dwarf body type 1 in a way that makes her "big" by conventional american standards
  14. Are you talking about cheating as in gaining medals they dont deserve? (like people removing and wearing equipment constantly to trigger the 2 healing medals?) Or are you talking about healing as in Jedi Shadow and Smugglers being able to plant explosives on the doors in voidstar without unstealthing? Which of these do you have a problem with?
  15. who came out ahead today? under geared lowbies in PVP and uber-geared raid guilds who make faster progression than starting raid guilds? So you get a bunch of new raid guilds to quit raiding and more people to run into pvp? was that the goal?
