  1. Hi all, Been on and off with SWTOR since it first came out. I'm back in the game now leveling a Vanguard. I've also managed to upgrade a laptop so that my Son (10yrs) is playing alongside me. Question 1: I've always played solo. On occassion I'll join a guild and have probably run just 3-4 missions in the 11 years the game has been active. I want to group with my son and we've been running a few Heroics together but I want to do some 'proper' missions with him such as flashpoints and other 'similar' things (I don't even know the names of these things). What content is available to us as a group of 2? Question 2: This is kinda linked to Q1. I'm a massive fan of 'fellowcanadians' YT channel and have been inspired to create Trooper/BH. In a recent video he pointed out that he ran some high level FP's (?) to gain the upper tier PvP gear. I'm not an intentse player and have avoided group content for years. Is ther a better way for me to get this gear in a reasonable timescale or do I need to be running content?
  2. Thanks. Will look into that then.
  3. All, On and off player here. I got back into the game just before Christmas and am loving it. I switch between a Jugg and Sorc. Whilst I've never really been any good at the game I love the PvP and am sticking with it. HOWEVER....... With close range classes, I find it hard to track my target in a busy environment and often end up smashing skills that will not work as I am to far away. In ranged classes, I'm a little squishy. Are there any mid-ranged classes/disciplines that might work for me? Something that works in the 10m range or around that? Regards LAM

    Accuracy in PvP

Thanks Guys, What about debuffs then? Do they work as intended in PVP? I'm thinking of the Senti one that reduced accuracy by 90% for 6 seconds (or something like that). Regards

    Accuracy in PvP

Hi, Thanks for the replies. I'm running Saboteur and Concentration at the moment. Sabo is now lvl70 and I have just started on T2 crates. Concentration is still leveling so gear is not a problem at the moment. With the above should I be worrying about it? Also, with the Senti it has a strong accuracy debuff. Will that work in PvP? How do I go about gearing up with no accuracy then? I think the T2-4 has accuracy built in doesn't it? Lee

    Accuracy in PvP

Hi, I've returned to the game after a long time out. I'm confused on accuracy in PvP. Some accounts state that it is required and aim (excuse the pun) 105-110%. Others state that zero is fine. So.... is it needed in PvP? If not does that mean I'll need two sets of gear? one to farm CXP and the other to battle in? If it is not required, does this mean that accuracy debuff skills are useless? Regards Lee
  7. Hi, Though not new I thought the question is relative to this forum. I returned to the game a month ago and have been subbed for about 30 or so days. I keep seeing in game players offering 5-7m credits to use a referral link. Firstly will this work for me if I am already subbed and secondly how does it work? I'm pretty sure that I've not used a link previously. Regards
  8. Hi, I've returned to the game and am leveling up a Seer and Fury. I'm keen to really get into PvP and am looking for a guild that does a lot of this as well as taking advantage of the new functions in the game where its organized PvP as I am looking for feedback on improving. I am running through the stories but do not really have much interest in PvE operations etc though would be open to them at some time I guess. I've a number of L60 characters but have started afresh as above to ensure I understand the rotations etc. Looking for a relatively large or active guild and I generally play around 8-11pm GMT. Lee

    PvP Ops window

    Thanks..... but shocking!
  11. All, thanks for the replies..... I guess it will remain Treek in that case. My mistake with Temple. I meant Mako. Shame there isnt a menu option to mute your companion........

    PvP Ops window

Is anyone able to offer any assistance? Regards LAM
  13. Hi, I'm pretty well geared up (PvP) Juggernaut (DPS) and when not running WarZones I will run dailies and I always keep my PvP gear on. I recently switched to using Vette from Treek and am impressed with her ability to take down Mobs fast, however a little combat always leaves her or me slightly low on health (75%) or so. On another character I was using Temple without a 'mode' active and there was a nice balance between the occasional heal, which meant no down time, and DPS that she put out. Based on the above observations I have two questions. 1. Does anyone know how the DPS between Quinn and Treek measure when either NOT in heal mode or in DPS mode (not sure if they heal in this mode)? 2. Who, out of all companions, is generally considered to be the best Off-healer and Off-DPS? Regards LAM
  14. Great reply../... thanks. *edit* Am I missing something... 20 mins at level 10 and no WZ pop.... should i get to another level to start with? LAM

    PvP Ops window

Hi, Asked this in a separate and older thread but there have been no replies so I thought I'd ask again in my own bread. Is there a way to set up my OPS window so that I see my team mates in a 4x2 block rather than a vertical 2x4? I'm starting a pure PvP progressed healer and want to ensure I've got all my ducks I a row and it his is important as I really so not like a 2x4 setup. I've tried playing with the interface in a zone but cannot get it to work and, I guess firstly, am wondering if it is even possible. Regards LAM *EDIT* This is hte lower half of my current interface. The yellow boxes represent how the members of hte Ops appear currently and the red boxes are what i want. http://i57.tinypic.com/2n6i3cw.png http://tinypic.com/r/2n6i3cw/8
