  1. I got this on two or three characters from a very early level recently. To be honest, I did not really see much of a huge difference. I am wondering if there is a cap because I am a Sub and not only do you get increased XP, but you they throw the XP Buff items at you so much I always seem to have one active. I am wondering if it is capped at some point in which I would not notice as much a difference opposed to a free account without item buffs. Jury is still out if it was worth it because it was a chunk of change for multiple toons. I generally play all regular none Heroic Missions on each planet. I don't PvP much at all. I seem to leave right at the appropriate level. I thought I would be out leveling content. Nope.
  2. I was an original founder and for the life of me I can't remember when or why I stopped playing. Regardless, I have been back and more active then ever. I do work full time but I am still quite active. I am looking for a Semi-Casual raiding / Leveling / Social / Alt Friendly Guild. Since returning I have started most of my toons over for the experience of it. Pros I would look for: Positive enviroment Group of jokers Older average age (30s, 40s, 50s+) Semi-Casual raiding Voice Required only during raids Military Veteran based a real positive U.S. Majority (I am not in ASPAC) It may be silly, but if I am wearing the tag, I might as well like the Name of the Guild. Love a name consistent with lore or had more then 5 seconds of thought into it. Alt friendly (within reason) What I bring to the table: I have not settled 100% on what class / role I intend to "Main" with, but it almost always results in heals. If I were a betting man, I would assume Smug or Sage Healer. I also tend to like Ranged DPS Secondary. Oddly enough, I am most into a Shadow DPS, and Guardian DPS currently. The shadow would most likely be the toon I would like to be added to the guild first. (I actually have 12 toons on the server but please note, none are level cap yet as I just returned and started from scratch. Lowest is 15ish, Highest is 48ish, current push is 30ish DPS Shadow) I have a multitude of experience from a multitude of games to include raiding (mostly heals) in WoW. I have done the officer and even founded and ran a decent sized guild for awhile, so I rarely am a pain in the *** about anything because I know what its like. HAHA.
  3. I am not sure it was mentioned, but your question about it being like BoA. Its not. Once you use the item, its bound to character, not account. I was hopping to pass my 1200 credit lvl 31 suit from my gunslinger to my scoundrel. No go.
  4. You have to unlock the bonus series to get to bugtown. I am not sure if it is a quest or level that unlocks it, but it normally hops up as a travel point automatically when I am about 3/4's of the way done with normal questing. It will be obvious when hitting up a travel point because its way off the beaten path. Once you get there, make sure you get the special key from the vendor across the river.
  5. I LOVE Huttball, but I HATE to pass the ball (or even aquire it). I normally roll burst range dps or heals. I normally am so engrossed in support rolls that when someone randomly passes the ball to me I find it very akward to get rid of and normally play a toon that gets cut down quickly. So why pass to me at all?!
  6. I think I would love OP a lot more if Lethality was a Ranged type class instead of what it is. That would give you an agent with stealth and range attack. All the stealth classes are melee. I think it would be cool to have one that is range. Of course, i would expect a trade off of burst damage and would not expect it to be as strong at range as any sniper class.
  7. Try not to go below 60% energy. During normal questing with silvers and golds I will open with Ambush, and then Sniper. Then if I hit 50% I just use my normal fire for a time or two before another snipe. You will grab another skill soon for a finisher also.
  8. Op is great if you PvP heavy and like rogue like toons or healing Sniper is great to Solo Quest with and burst PvP in groups that can protect you from a distance I will say that Ops and Scoundrels are pretty hard to solo quest level from about 25-38ish. Really Really rough. But its prob the most fun healer in the game and most rogue like when it comes to backstabbing stun locking burst damage. While the sniper is what seems to me, the highest burst damage at range in the game that I have experienced.
  9. You should stop thinking of your role as 1v1. The game is designed for teams working together (or by surprise and range in open world). If you are up in everyone grill with the pact, you are wrong. I am not the best PvP player by any stretch of the imagination, but even with that, I am having the MOST luck and fun in PvP with Sniper. It hits harder then ANYTHING else that I have tried. The trick is you need to play it like, well.... a sniper. Hide yourself at range whenever possible. You would be amazed at how much you don't get payed attn too by the vast majority just because you are crouched behind a box and at a decent range, all the time they are going toe to toe with some melee class hardly doing crap to them, while you take chunks out of them shot after shot. Use terrain to your advantage in matches such as Huttball. I find using my sniper to lay back on one of the higher levels behind sandbags or a sniper wall in a Defensive nature can really turn the tide of a match. Anytime the ball carrier starts heading to your teams side, you get off 3 or 4 heavy hits and hopefully some CC for your team to catch up and finish him off if you have not by yourself. They come to you and get in range just by design while they worry about there chasers, not what lies ahead. Ambush them, after all, you have a move with the name. Also the sniper has a whole bag of CC. Don't count that short. Think of yourself like a mage in some since. You hit very very hard, and the trade off is your easy to kill if they get too you. So you need to think as a team player and not what class can pwn you and what cant.
  10. Personally since AC's are locked, I think you should be able to have 16! I know this doubles user profile needs, but since you are forced under the current system to only be allowed to play 8 AC's on one server, there is no way to have all races or all AC's under one Legacy. Another way to maybe fix this would be to group servers (such as other games battleground system) and tie legacy across those servers, which would allow multi server legacy. I know its easier said then done.
  11. This is already an established item coming in the future. They have already stated its top priority.

    Events

I can second this. I never am one to really participate in such events. That being said, it did seem to make the world seem more alive on past games. It also brought more action to the servers from players logging on for events. Overall I think it increases the health and longevity even though I am not really interested in most event activities when its just a vanity thing.
  13. I sign the above petition. They are neat at first, but after a while the player should be able to customize such a thing.
  14. I think the bigger problem here is that with only 8 slots, by the time you get the legacy and unlocks, you don't even have the option to roll a new toon of a new species without deleting one. As it stand you can't even play each AC without being on two separate legacy and servers. You can only play 50% of each AC per server.
