  1. **Potential spoilery spoils below, maybe, just putting this to be safe.** Do we ever get to put Koth and Senya in their place about some things? They've gotten to act as if their world and their people are the only ones that suffer and the only ones that matter. Nevermind that their Immortal Emperor(Valkorian) turned an entire planet's surface to ash, had his fleet carve a bloody swath through the rest of the galaxy, and did all sorts of terrible things but no, thats not important to the Zakuulians. Koth complains that we shouldn't let Zakuulian civilians aid us, I guess he figures the rest of the galaxy should have to suffer more losses because of his stupid people. And Senya has the gall to act so disgusted towards Kaliyo because she "Bombs her people", uh lady pretty sure your people have done so much worse to everyone else so wheres that anger and disgust go for that? It pisses me off that I haven't gotten a chance to say anything and that NO ONE has said anything about it to them. It's like screw the rest of the galaxy, it's all about Zakuul, everyone else can just die and it's no biggie but if one Zakuulian civilian dies it's the worst crime ever. /rant Anyone else feelin' this too? It's like the rest of the galaxy is marginalized and not cared about. At least as far as I have seen with the dialog choices I've made thus far.
  2. If the engine of an MMO that came out in what....2012? can't handle faster than 110% travel speed then it probably needs to be replaced. Just saying, when I much older game like WoW has speeds up to 300% you should probably be able to compete or at the very least make the environment interesting and engaging enough that trying to cross vast distances isn't so tedious. Because the new Battlefront is a joke when compared to the old Battlefront and has done away with ship to ship combat like he's talking about. It's now just a reskinned Battlefield game. Honestly, I'd rather them just scrap this iteration of the game and rebuild it on a better engine and with a less.....crap look. It would not bother me if they made it look like the later Clone Wars show or Rebels if they were hell bent on not having "realistic" graphics. But there are things that need to be addressed in the presentation of the game that I feel really hinder it's appeal. Movements while in combat are pretty bad, most planets look awful when you go to land on them, armor has gotten better as the newer stuff doesn't look as though someone just took a tiny image in paint and increased it's size. Some of the voice acting should be redressed, some of the things my Sith Warrior says just sounds forced and monotone like they were being forced to read the back of a movie case. Speaking of classes, companions need to be revisited and given a small tune up. At the moment I choose my companions based on which one says the least stupid things in combat which means I usually go with Treek or the Nexu. Bioware is usually pretty good about making me like or dislike the side-characters but in this I just don't and when I have to take one it usually results in a groan and heavy sigh. I have no feelings about the mechanics per se as I play by myself and everything works well enough for me to get my enjoyment out of the game. My main issues are all with the appearance and presentation of things which I feel they gave little or no credence to. I've played a lot of MMOs and this is the only one that I've liked but had serious issues with in a way that makes it sort of love/hate. Sorry to reborn the thread xP
  3. I'm sure this has been brought up before, so I apologize if I'm merely resurrecting or broaching an already covered topic. I personally find the current choices for strongholds to be more-or-less bleh in variety. The two locales that came to mind, for me, that would be nice to see added were Hoth and Mannan. My first thought upon landing on Mannan for the first time was actually how nice it'd be to have a retreat there. I find the architecture quite appealing, and the possibilities for under-water viewing areas would be great. As for Hoth, well my Taun-Taun pack could use a more home-y place to meander.
  4. I'm jealous haha for the time being I'll stick with my Attenuated one. Hopefully the force will be with me one of these days.
  5. Only problem is coming up with the 50mil creds for the least expensive of the four that are on the GTN on my server. Especially when most of the items from the crates are going for less than 100k. Best thing I got out of 30 packs was the rancor mount.
  6. I agree with those who have pointed out that this should have been something they should have foreseen. I don't expect transfers to happen over-night but I do expect them to happen sooner than July as some have said. And hopefully sooner than 1.3 though it sounds almost as if this is part of the 1.3 patch. I do agree that initial transfers, regardless of which server people are wanting to go too should be free and that a consolidation of servers needs to happen afterwards. It is pointless to try and incentivise transfers to low-pop servers as most people seem to be wanting to do the opposite. However this is all purely my opinion based on the ideas and knowledge given and present. I will continue to play the game as I have re-rolled to another server already, however I maintain my right to complain about the lack of certain features.
  7. Forgive me if this is the incorrect place to post this, however I have spent some time scouring the forums looking for information regarding the mid-level magenta crystals and as of yet I have not come across anything, I was wondering if anyone had figured it out, and if there was anyone on Canderous Ordo server Republic Side who can make them?
  8. Limit transfers once per month to keep people from bouncing all over the place. I disagree with them being a service that is not free as I feel we should not have to be monetarily punished because of unforeseen circumstances. I would like to get even a rough estimate as to when this ability will be implemented as it is the only thing keeping me from playing further. Is it something that will be implemented in 1.2? or is it something that you don't plan on implementing until much later? Some other information besides "It'll probably happen, maybe soon"
  9. I agree with the free transfers idea, but for a different reason than server pops, I want to be able to play with my friends who are on one server while my Level 40 Jedi Guardian is on another. Please let this come to fruition!
  10. How could anyone not know it? when almost every other comment in these threads is someone trying to cram this down our throats as a reason why they are so hard to find. But then again, you should probably also know that purple has existed as a lightsaber color prior to Samuel L. Jackson. But all of that is besides the point, the point of this whole thing is that Lightsaber color should be ABOUT PERSONAL PREFERENCE and not rarity, not prestige, not about lore, it should be a customization option that is available to all Jedi and Sith and even those who use blasters. It should NEVER have been about stats and all the other stuff I mentioned previously and has probably been mentioned hundreds if not thousands of times by now, Bioware, seriously, this is such a simple little thing why wasn't it fully customizable in the first place? I know you're monitoring this thread you've posted in it twice now. Making certain colors "rare" seemingly arbitrarily is just stupid, no offense but it is. And yes it is a big factor for a lot of people in deciding whether they will continue to play this game or not. If maybe you could at least explain in some measure of detail how it was that you decided which colors would be accessible to everyone and which ones would be retardedly difficult to obtain? I feel like I've been shouting till I'm blue in the face, but I'm tired of having to read the same three or four posts over and over again, posted by different people but all containing the same few lines. I hate having to repeat myself and I hate having to see other people reiterate the same thing.
  11. If you take a peek in some of the other threads you'll notice that a large number of people who want Purple or Magenta or any color really don't want them because they're rare, they want them because of personal preference which is really what this whole thing is about. They've taken away what should be a core customization feature in order to make it a "prestige" or "rarity" thing. From what I've read they were relatively easy to get in Beta and yet hardly anyone used them except for those of us who wanted them because it's the color we like. In all seriousness I really think they ought to make lightsaber blade color a universal changeable thing on all of them and switch out Color Crystals for Focusing Lens's or hell just chuck the stats from the crystals onto the hilt or some other aspect of them. That way there is no Advantage or Disadvantage to having one color over another.
  12. I agree, and I definitely agree that color should not be about rarity or stats but rather the personal preference of the user. And I most definitely agree that it's utter BS that Republic players thus far do not have access to Purple sabers.
  13. No it's not they are two separate colors, if you go to any of the item db websites they have them both listed.
  14. After a quick Search on Wookieepedia I could find nothing there to corroborate this statement, in fact on their page about lightsaber crystals they have listed pretty much every color under the sun(or two suns if you're on Tatooine ;P) listed with references to the various books, comic books, games, and any other form of media they appeared in within the Universe. And in fact upon reading the article it states that most crystals were created by the Jedi or Sith for their lightsabers, I'm assuming that because of this the crystals were at least in some way a choice of the creator. I know with in the KotoR lore crystals developed in caves and were given to padawan's or apprentices by their masters and that in some of the movies this is the case as well. But still, I think there is enough lore evidence to support the ability of each person to choose their own lightsaber color crystal as more of a cosmetic thing, though however they could put in "special" crystals that appear in the world or drop from bosses or mobs that have special attributes, I mean this is all speculation and wishing since we don't really have a choice in the matter, but still, food for thought
  15. From what I've read, there is no real bonus or advantage to picking Artifice. I have it as well and none of it is as good as what I've picked up from quests and loot which is disheartening.
