  1. I get this reply on entering my password instantly like it is not even looking at the password or server. this is in the Login program. Even if I enter a bad password it responds with unavailable not that the password is bad.
  2. The Login service is currently unavailable. Details can be seen on our Twitter Account. Anybody?
  3. Hey.. Technohic could you post a rotation on the DF spec. I am really struggling with making it work. thanks
  4. Not sure if this was ever suggested before but it should be easy to turn off speeders at the market kiosks. It is a real pain when someone plants themselves right in front of the kiosk and you can not even see it to log in or if they punch in and you now have this moving background while you are working on the market. Thanks
  5. Guys..... what are the times that most people are on for Strike Nite? I am west coast and get on around 9 pst but that seems to be a bit too late since TEH is an east coast server. I came over from Harbinger and specifically ran up a FT-8 to play with you. Seem to be doing well and am in the top 1 or 2 spots most games, but I want to see how bad I really am. C
  6. To all, thank you, it does make sense and clears up some ambiguity. C
  7. Gentle Persons.... I have looked but cannot get the search to locate any previous discussions and I am probably missing the obvious but I think these choices need better explanations. First there seem to be three levels of protection, shields, hull and health or is it just shields and hull? The terms seem to be used interchangeably in some areas and not others. Do they relate in some way to each other? On the Quad Laser Cannon, T5 choice: Hull damage @ 16% or Shield damage @ 18% As I understand it, you do not do hull damage until shields are down so choosing hull damage would need to be a follow on to a rotation that used something else to reduce shields like a rocket/missile hit. So if things work this way would it make more sense to choose shield damage over hull damage. On the Heavy Laser Cannon there are two levels, in T4: Ignore 100% armor or Crit +3% & Tracking Penalty -5%. I would guess that the 100% Ignore is the best choice due to bypassing shields. If you take out the hull does that not kill the ship? Then in T5: Shield piercing +15% or Damage to Shield 18%. Would not shield piercing go hand in hand with the 100% armor ignore choice? There are others but I believe clarification here would answer the theory, Thanks all for any time and effort.
  8. I too see Lordcannonhawk on Harbinger, a lot, and he is beginning to finish in the top half of the team so he is making progress. We can all complain about game mechanics but in the end it is a game and should be treated as such. Make the best of it and take out of it what you can. Over the past 4 months I have been on both ends of the stomping and still today there are a couple of groups that simply own the match and trying to beat one of them becomes the reward because you are not going to win that game. I actually think they target me now because I have become such a pest. You can always make something fun if you try. So back to gardening.
  9. I have a couple on Harbinger that you would not want to tangle with. When they have target of target running they are nearly invincible, plus they seem to always have a helper scout or fighter around. I have not seen them loose a match for probably 50 or more times. I just dedicate myself to harassing them as much as possible and get a rare kill. 5000 hull maybe..... Which is the point, just a couple of ships should not be able to completely dominate matches just because they are coordinated. It is hard enough to get any kind of balanced PUG group and then run into this on a regular basis. And don't just tell me that this is MMO and form your own group, it is not that easy.
  10. It is not about a single GS being OP. Any single ship is killable by any other, it is the typical number of overlapping GS that are messing with the balance of the game. It is very easy to say LTP and everything will be OK but it just does not work that way. When I am sitting in front of the hanger waiting for a match I have to wonder how many players have simply gone back to the ground PVE game due to frustration. I totally blame the DEV's for poor training opportunities and not trying to at least do some form of matchmaking for new players. These are computer systems that can have defaults and even the simple act of putting players with less than 25 games (pick a number) in with other low game count players so they can get a sense of what it is like without getting stomped should be in place. There are levels in PVE aren't there. It is only good business sense (no comments about that allowed).
  11. Not sure why nobody has said anything about Harbinger so here goes..... In general GSF is in really good shape, very short que's, full groups in prime time. Reasonable balance depending on time of day based on PST. I have on purpose played both factions at different times and found the balance changes a lot. Seems like morning till about 4pm it is balanced and games can go either way. From 4 to 9 or so it is Pub big time. Then it goes IMP till around 1 and que's do go up to 10 min or more. I would say that it is a friendly group all around. There have been rants about cheating that comes out of the PUB dominance when they are grouping which does not happen much. I would say that there are around 30 really great players on both factions that can fly and shoot much better than the rest. There does seem to be an abundance of gunships and bombers. Just had a match with one strike on each side with the rest gunships and bombers, was kind of fun to watch, no fun to fly around, things kept blowing up.
  12. Just had one placed right next to an asteroid so when you came out of it you hit the rock. Be careful where you place them, reflexes only go so far.
  13. I have not looked at every ship. This option is on the Pike and probably the Imp ship. It is a selection in the Minor Component - Armor. As far as usage it is a static buff. I am just looking for the outcome comparison between the two selections. For instance, does reduction out weigh evasion. Thanks again for any incite.
  14. So which one is better as a static defensive buff in the Armor section? Deflection Armor damage reduction @ 20% OR Lightweight Armor evasion @ 9% Thanks in advance for the help......
