  1. It is indeed sad. And now, her mom is with her again.
  2. I suppose it is a monumental challenge to come up with a game that appeals to everyone. I suppose it is impossible. But I'll be honest here...I understand the premise and point of SWTOR. It is an MMO. But I've never done an OP, or any of the other larger scale multiplayer portions of the game. I don't want to. I am completely content with the way Bioware has managed the game. I look on this game as a large, almost open-world, single-player romp through the Star Wars universe and I'm happily content to continue to view it this way. I enjoy taking my time to enjoy the scenery, or take my time doing whatever else I feel like doing. You can't do that in PvP, or the multilplayer portions of the game. With that being said, I understand that attention needs to be paid to multiplayer stuff. But, attention needs to be paid to every other portion of the game too. Good luck in whatever game you take up your next residence in.
  3. RIP Carrie. You will be greatly missed. Thank you for the laughs and memories, and the irrepressible image of honey buns stuck to the side of your head.
  4. Thanks for the reply. Actually I do rotate through various characters and do have it all written down but I guess part of my thinking was that it might also offer a bit of immersion where character development is concerned. I am thinking back to the Star Wars Galaxies days when you had crafting titles for your characters. It'd be nice to do that here but have the option of seeing it at the logon screen. That would make picking what you needed just a bit quicker without any guesswork if you didn't happen to have them memorized.
  5. I'd like to see this implementation to make switching between characters for crafting purposes easier. Even with as many times as I've already done this, it would be nice to have an easy, visible reminder to safe me a bit of time. Any thoughts on this? Thanks
  6. As someone who is attempting to get more serious about crafting, I'm wondering whether or not it would be useful to increase the stack size beyond 99 items. I realize it would just populate another space in the inventory, but is there any coding limitation to put a different cap in place such as perhaps 150, or maybe 199? I find I run out of materials so quickly that it would be helpful to be able to store greater amounts of them. Anyone else have any comments on it? Thanks
  7. For those Fast & Furious fans here...a bit of sad news.... Paul Walker died today in a fiery car crash....
  8. I see this post is about a year old. After doing a search, I did not come up with any new information on this therefore I am asking here if there might be any talk about possibly implementing this? I have 12 characters that I play, not all regularly, and it would be very helpful if I could more easily see what my capabilities were where crafting is concerned without having to take the time to load up a character and bring up the skills window. I did not see anything referenced in the crafting forum so I wanted to ask more generally. Would anyone from Bioware care to comment on the feasibility of this? Thank you
  9. So Bioware, As much as I have enjoyed your games and respect the efforts you've put into them, are you getting the impression that you have pissed a lot of us off? Sure you can't please everyone but for those of us who supported you in the beginning by paying extra money up front to be early access, and those of us who have beta tested, and can romp through the game wearing the Founder title, we now have no choice but to be moved and lose our original character names because someone else had it on the servers we were forced to? Complete BS. Seniority is supposed to mean something and for those of us who were in Beta, you can't get much more seniority than that. We should not have gotten screwed but we did. Now I won't speak for anyone else but please let me be clear: I'm freakin pissed off! Thanks
  10. As a player that has been here from the beta, and someone who took advantage of the server migration at the request of Bioware, I'm less than pleased that some of my characters have been moved yet again forcing a name change. If I wanted a character name change, I would have either named them something different to begin with, or would have discussed the issue with Bioware. I realize that I own nothing as far as this game goes. However, I feel this is poor treatment of a paying player and I for one do not appreciate it and Bioware has lost some of my respect for this action. And to those who would reply saying I'm whining, or complaining, I care not for your replies or opinions. This post is aimed squarely at Bioware...nobody else.
  11. One has to wonder if the OP actually read the beta testing agreement where it was clearly stated that all beta characters would be on a ship to oblivion once the testing was completed...
  12. I too am wondering about this. I should have a color crystal, and a few other items including the STAP. Is there a certain point in-game where they show up or should I have them in inventory upon character creation? Hmm. The above post appeared after mine was already done. But, good answer. I hope that is accurate. Thank you for the info.
