  1. While yes you can use other classes enhancements in your battlemaster gear i would try your hardest to not do so even if it is a better upgrade now. When 1.2 comes out bm gear gets auto upgraded to the newer better gear but if you switch out mods you keep the same mods even after 1.2 they will not become the better mods that all bm gear is getting.
  2. All orange gear weps and armor will be fully modable so what you would do with top tier armor is the same thing you would do with weps, but pretty much yes that will be what is gear progression for end game.

Because that would be too easy, same thing WoW was actually wanting to do at the beginning of cata but never got to which is the main they added so many items on their online store this expansion to try and rope in some of that money they lost through subs(that and Activisions greed spilling over to Blizz).

Chances are very high if you do grind the valor rank now to get bm gear any bm gear you get between now and the patch with auto upgrade when the patch comes out.....so you won't need to regrind those pieces putting you ahead of anyone that didn't get bm pre 1.2(even though it won't matter as everyone will be doing rated instead and therefore getting handed better gear anyway).

Only thing i know as a fact as far as pvp gear goes is the stats on the gear and seeing that toons that got xferred over had their battlemaster gear changed to the new pieces automatically whether that will stay for live or not who knows(don't see why not when it's named the exact same thing just better stats). As far as champion/centurion gear goes best i can say is good luck with any feedback on it, seems the people who did get xferred over don't even know the forums exist and therefore don't care to give feedback or just feel so high and mighty that they shouldn't have to say anything to us "peons"(if that is the case then grats on best dev choice ever bw only bringing over the elistists).
  6. While yes you may be completey right that X ability cd may not always be up for you why wouldn't anyone on yur team that may be near have any kind of cc they could use? Pvp is a team game where it requires the team to work together to accomplish something why isn't someone on said team able to back another person up if they run into a mara that knows how to use their cd? As others have said the game is far from balanced for 1v1 combat and really without making everyone play the same class with all the same abilities it is impossible to balance around it. If you get trapped with a skilled mara 1v1 and don't have any decent cd up thats a personal problem not a balance issue, what you should ask yourself in that situation if no one on your team is near is why were you so far away from the pack to begin with if you felt you couldn't handle a 1v1 duel with another class that may be a counter to your own?

Sadly i see so few people on my mara that even have the slightest clue as to how to counter any of my abilites let alone anyone elses which is the main reason atleast half the teams i get there are a good amount of people who just let the laughers/rabbits/troopers free cast any and all heals. Seriously all it takes is a simple stun or some team assistance with either stun or knockback/root and you can put the 99% in it's place several seconds later. I would also suggest using any kind of dot that lasts longer than than the bubble does as most maras only pop it as an oh **** when they have only a couple hundred health left so unless they also pop a pot after the cd any dot will kill them after the cd runs out.
  8. Because i for one am tired of hitting an op healer with my wet noodles while being laughed at every 2secs just to add insult to injury.
  9. The patterns are bop but why wouldn't you just be able to send the credits through the mail to that alt? The alt can still buy it and have it sit in their bank till they can use it.

  11. I would have to pass on arena in this also. I spent 4 years playing WoW and after noticing that 70% of all class nerfs were made for arena balance without even looking at pve balance i could really care less about seeing it in another mmo.

Change happens in mmos it's something to get used to, people thought the grind was too long for bm bw changed it which is also why they are completely revamping the reward system in 1.2 so honestly this change means nothing in the long run other than people will gain rank faster in the few weeks leading up to it. I honestly don't see them ever reducing the amount of xp needed to lvl when they have all the planets in for a reason and they want you to go to them for atleast your class story along with any general quests you do. This is the main problem with games like WoW where they revamped every zone in the expac and then reduced xp needed thereby taking out the need to even do half of the zones they spent so much time changing which i can guarantee that is thie reason Bioware doesn't want to make it that way.
  13. I'm really wondering why people still say they should get rid of resilience/expertise on gear altogether without really thinking about it or giving examples of why it's such a flawed system. If expertise wasn't there and you had continually ramping stats where dmg on gear made the health gain negligable how would you like it if the few extra seconds expertise gives for surviability wasn't there and you died in about 4-5secs with half a rotation? Eventually the dmg is going to be so extreme on gear just like it is in every mmo that without a system in place to reduce some of the dmg all it will be is zergfests where people drop left and right without accomplishing anything other than killing in mid. While i may think expertise could use some changes it in no way should be removed completey to combat the ramping up of stats as the game progresses. If anything the dmg reduction needs to stay and just get rid of the dmg/heal increase since that would be a step in the right direction for how op heals are in pvp but then it just leads to more qq about how people are hitting like a wet noodle on anyone in pvp gear but at the same time getting rid of it completely people will whine about how they get zerged in 2secs because someone else is so much more geared than them with better stats. Could also say they should just make everyones stats and gear the same for pvp so everyone is equal except for skill but then without a true ranking system or arena system in place what would anyone hope to benefit from getting absolutely nothing from pvp? Without the systems in place there is no reason for any kind of competition if everyone is the same so why would anyone even want to waste time knowing that there is no carrot at the end be it a special mount/gear/title/whatever?
  14. Re'ing a reusable will give you nothing other than some of the mats it took to create it, there is nothing higher than pruple.
  15. You and the guy above you do realize this thread is over 2 months old now right? Nothing was known about 1.2 or even 1.1.5 then so necroing the thread means nothing.
