  1. The Darkside doesn't have any cookies. Pretty sure Baras ate them all.
  2. Rage is amazing for PvE. Specced out of Anni at 31 to try it and never looked back.
  3. This is how I still (level 42) deal with a pack with a strong and some normal mobs in it. Charge the strong - Obfuscate it - Brutal Assault for rage Switch target to weaks - and kill them as fast as possible (I'm Rage spec so I Smash them all basically). Switch back to strong and (this part is key) disrupt it's abilities. I have all my cooldowns as f1 - f4 as those are all together and easiest to reach, for me. f1 is Disrupt, f2 is force choke, f3 is saber ward, f4 is cloak. Use them. Gear up Quinn. Quinn can even tank a strong mob for a bit if you keep him geared. Spec Anni. for the bleed healing too. Carry Medpacks and use them. Its ok to use them! Profit. To me, the key to the class in PvE is: 1) Interrupt damage even if it means losing a GCD. It's worth it.
  4. Artifice can craft hilts for a lightsaber. You don't make a new lightsaber, you make the parts to replace parts in the orange border lightsabers. Colors I've seen so far: Green, blue, red, yellow, orange, red, purple, yellow/black pre-order.
  5. Cloak - Charge - Deadly Saber (in air) - Brutal Assault - Rupture That'll give you a good start on a mob. After that it's all priorities.
  6. There's no real rotation to be had. That said I start a fight like this Cloak - Charge - Deadly Saber (in the air) - Brutal Assault - Rupture and go from there. After that it's all priorities. My opinion is, blind a strong mob with Obfusticate (if there is one), kill the weaks with a combination of Ravage and Viscious Slash. Reapply dots on strong, pop defensive cooldowns and interrupt mob abilities as needed.
  7. My experience is 100% solo up to 33 where I am currently. I've done all class and regular quests at level or below. There have been a couple hiccups, but nothing I didn't get right the second time. The challenge feels appropriate PvE wise (I do not PvP so no opinion on it). As for CC, Disable Droid is pretty awesome, but beyond that I agree, we don't have anything. Defensive cool downs like Cloak are not CC. I use most of the defensive cool downs on almost every fight, I feel they do a good jump mitigating or avoiding damage. Obfusticate is fantastic to throw on a Strong mob then turn to the weak ones and getting 10 seconds to kill the weak mobs with the strong missing you 90% of the time. I've also gotten into the rhythm of using disrupt on channeled mob abilities. It's fantastic and the cool down is very quick and it stops you from receiving a lot of damage. People aren't joking when they say you have to use everything, but it seems like once you get into that mindset everything dies pretty fast and I typically end up at about 60% health after a pack, which Quinn quickly heals up before the next group. The order which Warriors gets their companions is a bit wonky. Vette is fine until Quinn as the game really isn't difficult up to when you get him. I was disappointed with Jaesa when I started questing with her on Taris and I didn't really feel fights went too much faster than with Quinn. I took a lot more damage and had to Channel noticeably more often with Jaesa (speaking of which why don't I get a chance to pick a quest reward for her, just more Vette and Quinn stuff...?). I found it weird we got a second DPS companion before a tank however. I haven't really seen anyone comment on the tanks Pierce and Boonmark, but I'm looking forward to trying them out. Overall, I really enjoy playing the class, and my experience has been mainly positive. Adding a short duration stun, or a little more damage reduction to Cloak would be very welcome though.
  8. Someone posted this is in the Sith Warrior forums. It appears purple is in, but so far the OP hasn't responded with where they got the sabers. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=95055
  9. I can clear up the color crystal thing. It's true LS1 and above cannot use red It's also true DS1 and above cannot use blue/green However: This means you cannot MOD your lightsaber with the color that is restricted. As a LS3 Sith Warrior, I am currently dual wielding a BLUE lightsaber main hand I modded myself (I am an artifacer), and my off hand lightsaber is RED. How is this possible? The answer is even though I am above LS1, I can use a red lightsaber if it is a quest reward. I cannot put a red crystal in any moddable lightsaber.
  10. I noticed the same thing about deadly saber. It seems to stay lit mid charge, so you can pop it in the air and it'll begin its cooldown right away.
  11. There should be a bag in your inventory. Open that up and the second saber is in there.
  12. You only get DS/LS points for the choices you personally make in group. Even if a DS response is picked to represent the group it won't give you DS points.
  13. My Marauder just left Korriban and is on the imperial fleet. I have two lightsabres, both of which are red. I have exactly 1000 LS points at this time. If in the middle of Black Talon my conversation choice is picked to capture, not kill, the captain and I gain more LS points will I lose the ability to use the two lightsabres I have equipped, or does going over LS1 only affect being able to equip a new red crystal lightsabre. Long story short, I don't want to lose my two weapons in the middle of the instance or before I can find green/blue/yellow etc crystals to replace the reds. Will I be ok as long as I don't unequip them until I find replacements? Thanks.
