  1. I am obliged to say <Enslaver> but only because it is where I have been calling home. (and it is full of great people). One that I haven't seen in a long time though always made me chuckle though was <Slydexics Untie>
  2. Mando Raiders run. Had a merc qued as heals... He either wasn't heal spec or hadn't visited a trainer in a good long while because he only had the basic heals that any merc can use. He kept getting wiped because he kept drawing aggro (focused on attacking not healing) and started to whine. I threw guard on him (not a tank so not that useful) but without him dumping aggro even my taunts couldn't keep stuff off him. He drops mid way through and started messaging me about how it was a "terrible team" "Nobody knows how to play anymore" so on and so forth. After about 15 minutes I finally replied to him that he was replaced with a ship droid with 5 influence and we cleared with 0 deaths since he left. Then this morning on a HS run. We got wiped, repeatedly. Group was all sniper/op with 3 of us being ~35 the other being 75 in 306 gear. The 75 starts to wine about how this just isn't going to work, we are too low level, op have paper for armor blah blah blah. (we are at the first boss only...) Finally we just kicked him because he was content to just stand there and do nothing, replaced with another 75 (sorc) and even with one of the others either trolling or just not knowing better (attacking anything we tried to sneak past) we managed to fly through it. I am terrible at OP, I like the stabby stabby bit but I am terrible at it. Yet one thing I do know is they can be damned tough if you manage their DCD.
  3. Any of the ones with SM option will have a good bit of social points. Talon/Essels being the highest if not quickest. The real trick is finding someone to run with that wont forget to spacebar at all the convos
  4. This. I have never done MM HS (just lucky?) but I do get it a lot in random vet modes and see this a bit at the last boss when he does is spray and pray. Everyone will be grouped up infront of him, nobody turns him, nobody gets out of the way, someone goes running for the kolto and gets pushed off the ledge while the others die.... Thankfully most of the time people get him started aiming away from teh group then move, or the group moves out of the way.
  5. I wish it worked this way. Ran 4 flashpoints this morning, added 4 names to my ignore list. First one went fine, told the group straight off I hadn't played healer in a long time so don't rely on me (it was vet mode so they didn't care). Had one guy bein a pest and breaking LOS then whining when I couldn't heal him but I was prepared for that. Second one had a tank who threatened to quit if anyone else did a pull (again vet mode). We had a few deaths due to stupidity like not LOSing mobs, breaking LOS with me constantly/running out of my range constantly, not keeping aggro... The part that earned him the ignore was when he fell through the light bridge on HS (why he was standing on it while fighting hte turrets I don't know) and blamed me for not pulling him back (mind you I already pulled him out once). Third run, yay another HS! I ignored 2/3 of the others in the group. Extra squishy shadow got mad that we couldn't keep him healed when he refused to use his DCDs and didn't use LOS. Then after first boss he went running off the wrong way, I pointed out that it was the wrong way and he vote kicked me. Before I got removed from the group I saw one of them say in group chat "Oh this is the wrong way" Last run not HS yay! Athiss, overall smooth run until just before the end. The shadow decided the best way to deal with the temple disciples was not to cc them and sneak past but rather gather them all from both rooms and aoe them. Yelled at me for not being able to keep up with the heals, then started a vote kick. The kick thankfully failed. Then he wanted a minute before the boss fight (we snuck past the disciples this time). When he finally came back he tried to kick one of the others from the group (no explanation given). This kick also failed but the guy he tried to quick said a few words then noped out along with his guildie leaving just me and the kickaholic. We got out companions and started the boss fight, we died, he raged out, I requed us got both the guys who had quit earlier and we finished. Now back to hating group content...
  6. I thought you needed to hit your personal to get the guild one. That being said, the new higher totals does explain why only one of mine got the rewards since I only had one that put up over 50k Still shouldn't this have applied to the old totals? Not that I would have pushed 50k on all of my alts but since I did meet the set totals needed at the time on them shouldn't I get the reward still?
  7. I am thinking they mean you could add upgrades (barrels/hilts and so on) on the fly. I am hoping they just mean the augments and the new upgrade thing and not mods. That being said... To add to the list: Only first character logged in received conquest reward despite all of my alts completing personal CQ and guild hitting their goal. Vengeance Jugg utility Seething Hatred not resetting force charge timer when you exit combat. Still works for saber throw and enrage, just not force charge.
  8. That bug sounds like the most likely to me. I will attribute it only applying to certain people (most commonly an operative) as the game just being wonky. After all even if I meet the same person in another WZ I will no longer have that issue on that person, but rather another.
  9. Every time I try to augment a saber/dual saber my client locks up and crashes. Does not happen with blasters, rifles, cannons or armor, implants and relics.. Haven't tried with vibro/tech blades or staves. Only happens when I use the modification station in my Rishi stronghold, when I had it in Coruscant there was a temporary lockup but no crash, same for DK, Nar and Yavin (haven't tried on Tat or Manaan)
  10. No both of those I write off as the game being the game... I am well aware of some wonkyness in huttball. This seems more like something that one player is doing which is why I was wondering about if it was some utility I am not aware of. It could very well be something that is only available to say dirty fighting and not to the heal or other dps class and I simply cannot find it/don't know it because I hate the playstyle with a passion
  11. I've tried asking this over the last few weeks in general chat, pvp, even guild but have only gotten silence or a technically correct yet not applicable answer... *Note* I only seem to have this problem on a PT What I want to know is why (huttball specifically) I cannot leap to certain people. I fully understand not being able to do it to sniper/gunslinger but I have also had this issue with mers and sorcs though very rare but very often operatives/scoundrels . I do not play op/scoundrel (I tried, I just dont like it) so I may be missing something in a utility or some other benefit. So here is the scenario: The op/scoundrel gets the ball and does their usual zipping about towards the goal. I try to pull them back but my line goes out and nothing happens as if their resolve was full. No problem I figure they have some immunity to knockbacks/pulls and I do get my crit for rocket punch so I try to leap to them and even though the ability is lit... Nothing. I check distance, they are in range, but I cant use it. Check my debuffs to see if anything has me rooted... nothing. Clear LOS... no reason at all I shouldn't be able to. Weirder still to me is this only seems to happen with certain players. Other players playing the same class I can happily pull into acid pits or leap to and set them on fire.. But there always seems to be that one that is just immune. Even more confusing to me is it seems to only happen on my PT. I see jugs, maras leap to these people while I am trying to but can't. I've also seen other PT's ask why they can't pull/leap to certain people so it definately isn't just me.
  12. This is what I did when I was trying for a 50 on a budget. Do as many heroics as I could, turn in crates, sell all the yellows for 100k on the GTN (could sell for more but at 100k they sell fast) then use that money to buy purples after having given all the blues that I got from the crates to the companion. If you don't count the purples I bought with money from selling yellows I got my first comp to 50 for about 1.2 mil with most of that being the cost of the legacy perk for faster gifting and only took 2 days.
  13. I don't care if the DPS pulls most of the time. Annoying but who cares so long as 3 things don't happen. #1 That the rest of the group was given time to heal up (specially if we are running without healer). #2 That you actually kill what you kill before it kills you. If you go flying off ahead of the group and attack another mob and die then the rest of us who were waiting on DCD's or only have off heals and are already banged up have to deal with your mess. #3 That you don't piss and moan when you die because everyone else wasn't doing their part... You chose to go ahead, your suicide isn't on us.
  14. Oh where to start... HS run guy goes afk after the first boss type thing, we reached the second boss and beat him then sat at the computer for a good 5 minutes before deciding to punt him. 30 seconds later we all got whispers from him yelling at us for kicking him just because he had to be away for a quick sec... Group leader decided to give him a second chance and invited him back in where he promptly went afk again for the rest of the round (we kicked again at final boss) Battle of Rishi: One guy quit because he wasn't going to "play catch up" since we decided to run ahead while he was loading... For the record we were standing at the first mob you face waiting for him. Second guy seemed hellbent on attracting every skipable mob he could. He later quit just before the second boss while running from what I thought was an impressively large group of enemies leaving me and the other guy to deal with them. HS again: I constantly get yelled at by a mara for not drawing aggro (I was playing tank) yet he constantly kept running ahead of the group. He also yelled at the healer for not healing.. They were, just they were stuck on me not him because they knew if anything even looked at them funny I would steal aggro. And then in a span of 5 random FP's we had someone drop out 3 times. Never wiped just left because of whatever. In each of those 3 I had to argue with a guy that his 10 influence companion was not a better healer than my 50 just because he was higher level than I was.... One even tried to argue that his companion was better geared.
  15. Four small adventures for this week. #1 Traitor Among the Chiss: Actually had a good looking group; all lvl 70 with a tank, 2x dps, and a healer. The tank and other DPS left right away. Re-qued us and waited a few minutes then myself and the healer decided to just bring out our comps and make our way in a bit while we waited. We didn't get far before two new people joined. One of which was a 47 shadow, we tried getting him to stealth to the first boss but he had no idea what we were talking about. No problem, the mara that joined with him was geared and while I am not great my jugg isn't that much of a slouch and we make it to the droid. We wipe the walls with the droid and go on to the next boss, midway through the shadow finally realizes he can stealth and decides to just do that and not bother coming out to help out... We punted him after the boss for being useless and went on to finish with a companion in his spot. #2 Depths of Manaan: This time on my Pyrotech. 2x 70's and 2x 50's, all DPS. Three of us are saying "Skip" during the dialogue, the 4th is trying to talk in guild chat but doesn't seem to understand that he has to change to that channel instead of talking in group.. Get to the final boss and the fight is going slowly... The fire jet comes out and I run over to it.. Everyone else stays on the boss. I taunt the boss so he comes over and the other 70 yells at me for drawing him away from him. Boss's sheild comes down and we start finally doing some real damage. Next little jet of fire comes up and I again head towards it, nobody else does. I taunt the boss again and again the other 70 (who is the only other one who had done this FP before) yells again for dragging the boss away. This time we put him down but before we get to the cut scene he starts a vote kick on me for "not following orders"... Thankfully the other two were smart enough to realize the only time they did any real damage on the boss was when I dragged him. #3 Again with Depths of Manaan: Lost a member midway through; replaced with companion and requed. Didn't get anyone to join until the final boss was around 15%, by the time he was fully loaded in we had just killed the boss. He then quit because someone in the group wasn't skipping the dialogue. And finally #4: Boarding Party. Had a guy quit so we were going to replace him with a comp. Got into an argument with one over who's companion was better. Mine (who is at 50) or his who is only at 22 but he (being the player) was geared better than me so somehow that makes his companion better?
