Ignore that armchair warrior. They started SWTOR in 2018 well after both server mergers, all they've known are the five main servers. On another thread they suggest removing the Republic and Imperial fleet hubs from the game because reasons. There's really no reasoning with these people.

First off thank you for the option of an APAC server. I was wanting to come back to SWTOR, so the Shae Vizla server announcement sealed the deal. Per the original announcement I expected eventual server transfers to SV without restrictions. From Australia I joined the game in 2014 on the West Coast NA servers and played nearly every day until 2017, United Forces update: Ring any bells? What a happy "accident" that was for the studio! Except it was anything but accidental. All water under the bridge though, Broadsword marks a turning point for the game and there ought to be more dev transparency, right? Unfortunately I'm seeing the same pattern of misdirection here with Keiths further updates to this thread. I just can't... Why dangle inviting player feedback in front of us when you've already made up your minds.

Yeah I'm from Perth as well. 400-600ms ping rarely goes below 400ms. Can't do anything in the game.

I remember in the last Gree event I was playing at around 9am Perth time, which is peak hour for West Coast Americans. Got to Ilum and got into a group to do the Heroic mission. One of my group was from India, and one was from Singapore. What are the odds of that? I would wager at least 25% of the Harbinger is APAC, if not closer to 30%+. This crisis isn't being helped by ignorant thread starters who appear to live in a bubble and only think of the world as being USA + Europe.

Owen: I use Optus Home Wireless Broadband 4G. For movies, downloading, browsing etc it's fast. The first ping test never had below 5ms. Range: 5ms-10ms with occasional spike such as 21ms The other test is from the 50s to 150s

Didn't know defending opinions was "trolling" around these parts...did I miss an EA version of the Patriot Act somewhere? What exactly is your stake in this Owen? All I see is you prowling around all these threads sowing even more discontent by dismissing APAC players plights. Why are you even here giving your "opinions" when you are clearly not affected and appear to have little to do with yourself other than point out "trolls" as people who you don't agree with.
