  1. Another idea just hit me. instead of erasing the commendations. since you like so much, you could change it to be used to buy schematics, instead of the actual items. This would make the commendations more valuable, so people would come back to do some heroics, and kill more strong,elite enemies, if they need some schematic in special. and will also improve the crafting system. Just an idea.
  2. There is some problems very easy to spot in this game, like: few peoples do heroic modes and the crafting system is broken. The way i see noone wants to lose their time waiting for someone else to group up for heroics, because the only incentive there is to do that is more XP, which is already easy enough. So a good thing would be the loot. IF the loot is good, every player would expend time to do the heroics. But how do you say if loot is good or bad? To answer this question you have to set a standard, if the loot is better than you current gear, it is good, if it is not, is crap. In short , if you are under geared, it is marvelous. But how come noone thinks the gear in heroics is marvelous? But how come noone is undergeared in a MMO? The commendations. Why would anyone want to do heroics, if you can just lvl up in normal mobs and it is guaranteed to have better items in the next city/planet. So they just lvl, go to the next planet and never come back for the heroics. If they had lower gear, they would WANT to do the heroics for a good chance to get a loot to help in the next planet. The idea here, is to get rid of the commendations, this will make every player value their gear, and every elite mob, champion or heroics would be a very good chance of loot, so they would do it. If you dont want to take off the commendations, at least push their lvl like 2 or 3 planets ahead, so at illum instead of buying mod lvl 51, you would be buying mod lvl 43 or 45, or something like that. So ANY heroics would be something worth doing, because would give you much better gear, IF you have luck to drop. There is even one message in the heroics saying that you can do this ONCE per day. And the way the system is, it sounds like a joke, because most peoples just do once, or none, and never comes back to do heroics once you have done once, why? Because everyone buys better loot with commendations. So, if you do that, and DIMINISH the xp just a little, like 1 to 5%, you would put everyone WANTING to do the heroics, to lvl up just a little bit and to find better loot. This would probably fix your entire game, because would make every quest in the game worthwhile, would make the flashpoints even MORE attractive, because it is even a BETTER chance to get loot and some xp and as a bonus, would fix the crafting system. The crafting system is totally useless, because every player finds better loot, or buys better loot just with commendations, and even at lvl 50 you can find better loot in shops with commendations than a crafter can make with hardmode drops, that is BEYOND insanity. So, my suggestion is this. Take out the commendations, or at LEAST make harder to get those, very much harder. It will fix the game, because: * it wont be a easy game anymore, people will die against weak enemies if they fast pace the game, for lack of gear. * gear would mean something, because right now, gear has no value, * heroics and flashpoints will be an awesome part of the game, because gives you a good loot opportunity. * it would fix the crafting system, because if you have the money to buy something purple from your own lvl, you will be very strong, and happy with the acquisition. So everyone will craft to get money, to buy items. * and ultimately, will transform the game in a M-MULTIPLAYER-O, because players will have to get together more often, cooperating, just to be able to pass to the next planet. Which will also fix the social points. I hope it is a good idea. That's why i'm losing my time here. GL. PS: forgive my poor English.
  3. the problem are the commendations. Why take time to complete a harder/time-consuming part of the game, if you can find better luck right next door. GET RID of the commendations. it will fix the crafting and the quest system.
  4. Inicially. the false emperor didnt had those knockback grenades, so if you was playing a sentinel, you couldnt help when he rages, and someone in your group had to posses knockback.
  5. I think it is like when you finish one game.Now that you beat it, it is time to play another one. You rarely keep playing the same game after you made everything that it is possible in it.
  6. I dont see why watchman can be harder than combat. In combat you have 6 sec to use all your major skills, while in watchman. your next 3 attacks will be your better attacks. in one, if you are stunned, interrupted or anything else, you have to start all over again, while in watchman, it doesnt matter. watchman is way easier than combat.

  8. Watchman is easier to play, because you dont have to keep attacking, your DOTS give you damage even when you lose the target. While combat you have 6 seconds to do the most damage your can. If you miss that window, you damage is very low. Thats why everyone says watchaman is better.
  9. Some peoples jsut dont play very well and will never help he team win. So they will never get any valor. One less player. Also, the imperials on my server have so many battlemaster and play better, that usually imps win a lot more than just 50/50, which is also against your assumption. The weak side will always stay behind in gear with your system, getting weaker.
  10. Your commentary just made me decide to try watchman. not because what you said about the tree, but you did using Jackie Chan as an analogy. THAT was awesome.
  11. I prefer to stay doing nothing at the fleet, waiting for some WZ to pop than go play another character. That's just how i feel about my sentinel.
  12. Why dont you jsut sell the hyper-battle might-aim-etc stim biochem buffs? in my server they are 20k each. I bet the vendors are really rich by now.
