  1. Hi all, I have a character I will no longer be actively playing. However, that character still has a decent amount of Crystals. Are there any things I can spend them on that would directly benefit my main character? Is any of the gear purchasable with those crystals able to be mailed to an alt? Or have the mods ripped out? Or perhaps schematics or something? Any insight would be most welcome. Thanks, Tampania
  2. So basically, if you don't Raid your gear will pretty much come from daily crystals, which means you crafting skill will be limited to producing stronghold decorations? Am I correct in making that assumption?
  3. Hi All, I used a level 60 boost on a DPS Assasin for general PvE purposes. Will be doing some Heroic FPs, but likely no Operations. For crafting some of my own Gear for that purpose, which of my Synthweaving schematics should I be trying to Reverse Engineer? Am I right in thinking I should craft 208 (i think) blues and try to learn the 216 purple? Or is that a waste of time and I can just use crystals to but gear? Any insight would be most appreciated, Tega
  4. Rocky, You mentioned you are "mostly Republic" not quite sure what that means. I have a Sith Inquisitor (healer) on the server. Your Guild description sounded like a Guild I would enjoy being a part of. I am only lvl 57 at the moment, but will be 60 in a day or two. I had taken a couple of years off (was playing WoW), but the recent announcements regarding the future of the game have me excited once more. My wife and I play together often, she has a Sith Marauder at the same level. I am 48 years old and she is 45. We are US East Coast so our preferred play times are somewhere around 7pm EST to Midnight. Please let us know if you think we may be a good fit for you. Character name is Talmik. Yours, Talmik
  5. Hi all, I recently re-subscribed to SWTOR after getting excited about the new expansion details. I finished leveling my Jedi Guardian to 55, however I am a bit confused about acquiring gear for a non-raider PvE player. I read a few gearing strategies but I suspect they may be outdated now. I just finished the Makeb storyline, and was under the impression I would receive a set of gear during the process. Perhaps I missed something, because I didn't see where that would happen in my questing. I still have a lot of green gear arounf level 102-112. I read about a "GSi Bolster" or something, but I never came across it. I have not as of yet purchased the Shadow of Revan so maybe thats where my issue lies. I plan on getting it tomorrow. What should I try to tackle next with he exception of Ops to gear up on my way to level 60? My significant other is in the same position and we were planning on running Flashpoints together, but I have heard you can run them solo now, so I am not sure which way to go there either. She doesn't like to PuG. Any advice as to what paths I should take to gear up from 55 to 60 would be most appreciated, thank you in advance for your time. Yours, Tampania
  6. Hi, My wife and I stopped playing shortly after the Makeb storyline. The recent announcement that SWTOR will be focusing on story driven content again has intrigued us. In looking at the changes since we last played, I noticed there seems to be a Solo Option for certain things ( I assume Flashpoints but may be others). We like to play together, does this change affect us in any way? We used to try to run Flashpoints together with each of us having one companion out, sometimes that went OK, sometimes we had to wait a few levels. Basically what I am asking is this: Is the PvE experience now tailored for either a Solo player or a Group of Four? There seems to be a new companion droid that can help in flashpoints etc, can we each bring one? I guess I am a bit confused as to what meaningful content two people can tackle together, or are we better off doing such things solo? Thank You for your time, Tampania
  7. I prefer Kaliyo as well. I am PvE concealment, and Kaliyo holds aggro well enough for me to keep stabbing everyone in the back. I use my countermeasures aggro dump if I pull it off her. we burn through mobs quite quickly. I suppose it would be a bit quicker with a DPS companion, but then I would always have aggro, so no backstab. I haven't used SCORPIO too often due to Kaliyo out gearing her by a large margin, but as I keep playing SCORPIO is slowly getting better geared so may try her out soon.
  8. Last night I queued for a 55 HM FP. I am DPS so it took a while. However, once it popped (it was an already in progress Flashpoint), before I could hit the travel now button, there was a message that <name> has removed you from the group. it happened within a few seconds of me hitting the ready button. I then got a message that i left a Group Finder and could no longer queue for 15 minutes. I was a bit confused as to how this occurred, did they vote to kick me within a span of 7-8 seconds? If so, why did i get the debuff? Is there a difference between being removed from group and kicked? And does the message reflect thedifference? The only other thing i can think of is I suppose its possible someone had me on ignore and its automatic?
  9. I will do the organizing as soon as I get a couple of more responses, I will PM you with my in game name, and we can knock these out.
  10. Hi All, I would love to get these quests done, but have had issues trying to put a group together for them, as I came back to the game a bit late, and most people have done these already. So basically looking for 3 people on the Imperial side who would like to get together one night and finish these, I could use the room in my quest log. Thanks!
  11. I forgot to add that we are in the East Coast, and although we play fairly late, there may be some timing issues arising with our west coast friends who may be interested. Somewhere around 8-10 pm EST would be an ideal start time for us if that works for you, please drop me a PM or respond to this post.
  12. Need 2 more people to help form a new Group with the following qualities: • Republic Side (kinda, see last paragraph) • Ultra-Casual • Mature • Maximum membership (to start) of 4 accounts (alts welcome) • PvE oriented My wife and I have been playing together and enjoying the leveling experience, we were able to 2 man quite a few Heroic missions and even some Flashpoints, but many require 4 actual players as opposed to using companions all the time. We are reticent to join a larger guild, as we have done so in the past on another MMO and it never seems to work out well. We basically would like to join with 2 other people who would like to run a few Flashpoints together a couple of times a week, possibly help each other out in Heroic missions. Beyond that, it would be just a place to go about your business as you see fit. I don’t foresee Guild raids in the immediate future, but perhaps joining a Story Mode Op every once in a while could be discussed. As for playstyle, we are very casual as mentioned, so we have no problem wiping a few times as we figure out encounters together. In addition as we are busy in other parts of our lives, it would be nice to have a scheduled Flashpoint run a couple times a week. That way we could know that on a certain night at 9pm or so we would be ready to go as a team. As of right now I have a lvl 50 Gunslinger, and my wife has a lvl 50 Sage healer. We are also in the process of leveling a Trooper Tank/ and Consular healer combo, but will take a little time before we hit 50. We are both in our 40s (age) and just want to have fun and play SWTOR without the drama often associated with many Guilds. Ideally, another gaming couple who happen to have a republic Tank and DPS would be a great fit, but we could make arrangements for different combos with possible respecs if needed. We do already have a 5 person Mumble account, although I see no reason to be on it unless doing a flashpoint, etc. On the off chance the perfect gaming couple who read this but happen to have Empire Characters, my wife and I also have a pair of Sith Warriors one a tank, and the other dps , both are lvl 50. If you think you are the right fit for us, please respond to this post, and we will see where it takes us. Thank you for your time.
  13. I really enjoyed the character stories during leveling, however, once at lvl 50 the daily quests available become a bit stale after awhile. I think it would be cool if each class had a couple of class specific daily quests. Perhaps chosen randomly from a set of 3-4 quests. Not too familiar with Republic Side, but a semi-continuation of the identity formed for each character class would be something I would enjoy. My Agent would feel like an Agent again, doing counter-insurgency stuff.
