  1. So I've tanked before in other games, generally on the side, not usually as my primary character. I never had a problem with it, so I'd put my skill at 'competent' not necessarily pro, or primary guild tank. I've done fine, but I've got some questions on what others are doing in this game. Obviously I know I need to pickup the Elite (Gold) mobs, but in many pulls I find it very difficult to pickup up all the other mobs (silvers and regulars) esp when they are spread out. Given that most mobs are ranged, it's hard to get them to bunch up. If I try to too much, then I risk losing aggro on the Gold mob(s). All of this causes the combats to feel a bit 'squirly', but then again, perhaps they were meant to be like that. They are definitely more interesting. Now generally anyone in the party can take getting hit by reg mobs, and can even deal with silver mobs without too much effort. But as a good tank, should I really be grabbing aggro of all silver mobs as well? Or is leaving them for the DPS to handle just fine? Generally I just make sure no one is beating on the healer, so they are free to heal whatever damage is going around. What are others doing, and what would be considered 'expected'? Powertech if it matters....
  2. So has BW ever mentioned the desire to be able to do server transfers? I've leveled quite a few characters but am beginning to think that I want to be on a different server (where friends are and timezone is better choice). However I REALLY don't want to run through the initial quests again, seriously I've done those quests like 6 times now so I don't really want to start over. Is this feature coming?
  3. While I agree with your other points (and don't really want dual AC) they have already removed any reason to level the other AC cause they share the same story line. I've been very frustrated to pick an AC, then find out at level 35 that I really should have picked the other. Yes it doesn't take that long to level, but I have to listen to all the same story scenes, would have been great if each AC had it's own story. For that reason alone, I wouldn't mind maybe a one time change to AC, so not dual spec. But if you wanted, you *could* change once in the characters lifetime. But yeah, dual Spec is really needed, I'd love that.
  4. Mods and Addons don't have to include the ability to hit one button to do many things. All I want is a Heads Up Display (HUD). Fighter pilots have them, so they can keep their eyes on the action. Sure, I can do without....but then why??? It is simply a quality of life difference. Please allow UI customization, and allow at least a HUD mod of some sort.
  5. Thanks all, yeah, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I'll just keep practicing watching for the buff to use later. Until I pickup some of the supporting talents it just isn't worth the cost at these levels.
  6. So I'm a level 21 Darkness, i just picked up Energize (gives 50% chance to make your next shock auto crit). However when I look at the damage, my crit shocks really don't do that much damage compared to how much force they require. Thrash is only 25 force, a shock is 45. For 5 more force, I can do two thrash's that do more damage than that one crit shock. Does this get better? Maybe once you pick up Electrify? Or a higher rank of 'Assassin's Training'? At this level, it doesn't seem like it is worth the force usage, I should just keep using thrash....Am I missing something?
