  1. I'm not sure if I can be counted as a WoW refugee, but I played WoW since BC xpack, stopped at mists of pandaria, because it was already childish game, and with addition of kong fu panda, it became even more so. I came back to WoW in the BFA expansion, but found it boring and story telling is something that came out from a Disney cartoon. Tried shadowlands and it didn't get me either. Coming from PvP perspective... With that said, I'm an ESO refugee. I got sick of defensive ability stacking there, which made many players tanks, but with the exception that they have high damage. TTK is low, but sometimes you get those buffed up players that suck all the fun out of the gameplay. TTK here is very, very high, but I'm hoping that will change in the new expansion. I would stay in WoW for PvP, but WoW takes too much time, and I have nor desire nor time to do the grind. In SWTOR you can get geared up rather fast, and gear is valid through out the expansion as I understand. Which is perfect for me. I played on and off this game, but new xpack brought me back, plus I haven't seen all the story so far. Hoping for great things in the new xpack. Some people mention FFXIV, and I can't even look at that game lol. It reminds me of anime, and I hate anime with passion. Besides, running around with children characters that take down bosses.... Cat people with umbrellas.... Nah, I rather throw away my PC
  2. TTK = time to kill. Did it went down? I'm in between games, and subbed to swtor because I heard of massive changes that are coming. But I don't think I will be playing if in PvP it still takes ages to kill a player. So did TTK go down?
  3. I was about to quit swtor, because I was playing madness sorc, and he is dying faster then I can sneeze, always been playing mages, never even looked at melee, so sorc is my only option here. And then I decided to try lightning, and man, it's like night and day. I am even able to tank some players. Long story short, buff madness/balance specs in survivability. I hope new xpack will bring that. It's a very fun spec and maybe I'm doing something wrong, but for poo's sake, buff it. Thank you.
  4. Every xpack in every game there is a post like this. Even in WoW, after every announcement, there is a post about death of a game. I'm sure fans will keep it up, and new and returning players will fill the gap of those who don't like the expansion.
  5. I would really much like to see this, there isn't many women in SWTOR that I liked enough to romance, they are all denied if you play inquisitor, Vaylin is one of them. So BioWare, please, DEW IT!
  6. Pros: more immersive world and I would really much like to see this. Cons: possible more tension on CPU, although I never experienced FPS drops on a new system, on old I had troubles only in PvP and on the fleet, so maybe it won't hit performance too much, 50/50 on this one.

    Redesign PvP

They can start at least by lowering TTK, seriously, everyone is a freaking tank compared to other MMOs PvP.
  8. Hello, I'm interested in PvP and stopped in my choice between Assassin and Juggernaut, as those two I find the most intriguing. My question is: Who is better in 1v1 scenario between those two? Thanks in advance.

    PvP is a mess (imo)

I think when you have 3-4 people on you, skill shouldn't matter that much. While I like when there is room for skill, and work arounds to some situations, I think this is too much. I agree on dumbing down the game though...

    PvP is a mess (imo)

Why it's a mess? The thing that annoys the hell out of me is how long it takes to kill a player, a player that is not even in tank spec. I see it often, one dude running around causing mayhem while 3 or 4 players wailing on him despite having 306 gear, and they can do nothing about it, since it's his abilities that made him a freaking terminator. Some classes can down a player fast, like a sorc for example, everyone knows how squishy the sorc is, so I won't go there. I play sorc by the way, 306 gear, fully augmented, now I don't consider myself a bad player when it comes to dealing damage, before swtor I played WoW and had high rating in the arena, so I think I know my games. My point is, it doesn't feel like I am making any impact, yes I see the damage I am doing, but it is so small that it bores me, it is so bad that in some fights I just zone out, out of boredom. I have a sin max level also, fully geared, same story, a bit better, but still, it is very boring. The game is awesome, I like the story, I like the scenery, I like music etc. But PvP? Eh, it sucks.... What I am asking devs to do, is to make players die faster in PvP, not the sorcs though, they are already at the bottom...
  11. It is their job, and an interesting character development might bring more players or make some stay that wanted to leave. I have no intention of leaving, but it would surely add the spice. Just because something is difficult doesn't mean it shouldn't be attempted.
  12. This is by far my favorite move, but it never sat well with our rotation. So what I am suggesting is make it a long range attack, casted on a move, with medium damage and on cooldown. There is only one but on animation, instead of using two hands, character will use only one hand, while holding back the lightsaber. Something similar as how in swtor cinematic trailer "Return". Thoughts?
  13. Right now, there is not much you can do to modify your character. Yeah you have gear stuff, but what I want is something not related to gear. Old skill trees were really great, because you had a lot more options on how you want your character to be. I am not saying bring them back and remove what we have right now, but maybe something similar, the deeper customization the better. My view on this, is to add talent tress in junction with what we have now and make them compliment each other. The other way is, it can be done is like in ESO, where you morph skills into almost the same, but modified version that suit you better. If to implement all this, would be really great. And of course there are casual players, which games today started aiming towards as I noticed. So just make some optimized premades of talents and call them somehow, that way, casual players won't have to learn each talent, what it does etc. But just load already made customization and get right into it. This way, no one singled out, everyone is happy, problem sloved:) Thank you for reading
  14. I think it would be great if they added some movement animations when our character standing still. Right now it's like he saw something scary and just froze in one place, well, it's not that bad actually, but to see some movement while character just standing would be awesome in my opinion. That's it, there is nothing more to it Thank you for reading.
  15. All I want is some defence buffs for PvP. As for how it is done, I have two opinions on that, either buff shields and other defensive cooldowns, or buff healing in DPS spec. Giving us some passive defense would be great also, I mean passive defence that is not required to spend an ability point.
