  1. Yeah, he's great. I'm still betting Gault would do more dps if geared, but currently my Blizz is geared with champion/columi and he's pretty tough.
  2. We need viable AOE healing in PVE, not PVP. We're perfectly fine in PVP. Also, OT, 500k+ on a voidstar PUG match is easy to get. All these OH LOOK AT ME I CAN PUT MORE HEALING DONE posts are retarded.
  3. We managed a 2 hour run, even with foreman respawning. Couldn't you just run past him (even aggroing him) and just enter the building? We did that and he reset aggro, we could continue just fine. Chest didn't appear on Kragga though.
  4. ?? Foreman Crusher hits like a wet noodle even during frenzy, we always 2 man heal it easily. Or am I missing something?
  5. Try being a battlemaster. I've been BM since before 1.1 and I've only got 3 pieces >_>
  6. Codex not updating on SOA is a bug. It only updates a normal SOA kill, there is no HM/NM entry for some reason.
  7. We didn't get a chest either on our weekly clear on NM (Infact, we never got a chest on NM on Kragga). Kragga himself did drop the black mount, but so does SOA, he drops the mount and there's another one in a chest.
  8. Yes, you generally want to prioritize crit and surge over power and alacrity. Alacrity is a good stat for pvp, but sadly the way our heals work is that if we don't crit, they heal for laughable amounts.
  9. It makes every single merc healer scratch his head once he gets healing scan. It's like a rite of passage.
  10. I personally just find them much more useful than the 16 more heat vented on vent heat and 2% healing done. 4% less damage is very useful on some bosses (like lightning balls on the SOA fights), and at last in my opinion, the 6% increased healing on yourself with a bonus on endurance outweighs 2% increased healing overall.
  11. From healing as a merc on all current nightmare content experience, I can safely say that this is not the case. You'll be casing almost all the time, and learning to manage heat while doing so (throwing about 2 rapid shots every rapid scan for example, when healing scan is off CD and you don't have the heat reducing buff on healing scan) Also on healing intensive fights (Second boss/es in KP come to mind) you'll do well not to spam healing scan > rapid scan as you will overheat quickly even on SCG phase. You'd want to reach SCG phase as soon as possible, obviously, but throwing the occasional healing scan will simply not do in operations, you'll be using it a lot outside SCG. As for stat priority I do agree, we'll be focusing on crit much more than other stats (surge comes on the same mods as crit so they pretty much come together), you probably won't reach 50% buffed until you get fully modded rakata gear towards crit. And regarding your talent build, you can switch out Imp. Vent Heat for Powered Insulators, and Integrated Systems for Custom Enviro Suit.
  12. You'll be using rapid scan A LOT more than you'll use healing scan when you're healing proper content.
  13. We had both the red HM/NM mount drop from soa on nightmare, and the black HM/NM mount drop from kargga on nightmare on the same reset. Can anyone else confirm it might be 100% for the mount to drop on nightmare?
  14. Tank scaling really does seem bad. We cleared everything on 8man nightmare with only one tank and 2 healers (yes, including the second boss in KP) Some fights don't even require 2 healers, and one will be more than enough.
  15. And this is pre-1.1, so there are lowbies as well.
