  1. This is just to state that my husband is having this exact same trouble/woes, he took the dark side choice with Koth, speaks with Tora without a problem, and is then unable to speak with Theron afterwards, to trigger the Disavowed story. We've tried several different things, including to the suggestions in this post (and then realizing that the fix is for those that have not lost Koth). Just as another observation, Theron is not located in the War Room at any point, not sure if that has anything to do with anything, but 'escaping' out and trying to just talk to Theron is not an option, as he's simply not there! This is very frustrating.
  2. Well, having it be just class specific is a simple fix to many companions that contain story-driven 'choices'. (Such as Jaesa and Khem) I do have a single question. (I apologize if this has already been asked.) 1: At what point in the storyline will Smugglers and Inquisitors be able to recruit these returning companions? (Before KOTET? After? Or so on.) -- Well, if you can say, at least. Thank you.
  3. My Level: 65 -- Husband's Level: 65 Item Rating: 208 (almost anyway) --- Husband's Item Rating: Same Discipline: Jedi Sentinel - Combat -- Husband's Class: Smuggler - Scoundrel - Scrapper Companion: Koth (The highest influence character I have). -- Husband's - Lana (Same) Companion Role: Healer -- Husband's Companion: Healer Companion Influence Level: 16 -- Husband's Companion Influence -- 15 Which Mission or Star Fortress are you playing (Solo Mode? Heroic Mode?) Star Fortress Heroic Mode Your personal experience while playing this content: Last night my husband and I attempted to do the Nar Shaddaa Star Fortress Heroic Mission. The content going through was difficult, as to be expected, but doable, even up to nearly the end where we could have wiped a few times, but managed to pull it out. It was frustrating, it was hair pulling, and stressful, but through a bit of luck, and a bit of skill - we shut down the 3 stabilizers. The same can not, however, be said of the very final Exarch boss battle. With the companions we had, and the builds we had, we were unable -together- to complete the final battle. To say it was frustrating is an understatement. It was aggravating. It was impossible. We should not have to spec our characters to builds we do not enjoy playing just to complete a heroic two. The knocks backs alone were intolerable. It's still pending, and will be for some time, it's frustrating enough to cause a doubt in our subscriptions. If we are unable to complete this mission together, how on earth could someone do it solo? I wish I could have something more positive to add here, but as it stands my husband and I are very frustrated, annoyed, and feel let down by Bioware. It's bad enough the black bar conversations continue, but now we are unable to complete missions that are designed for soloists? Really? We're not beginners, we're founders. We know how to play our characters, and we enjoy certain game play with them. When content becomes impossible, there is no other choice but to walk away and find something else to do.
  4. Thank you for the information, a couple questions. What happens to the extra exotic material that has a 3:1 ratio? For example, if you have 4 of the item, 3 will turn into the new exotic, what happens to the extra? I don't suppose there is any way to list what synth and armor schematics are being removed from the game, is there? (Other than all the greens of course.) Thank you!
  5. While I am quite sure this has been stated, asked and questioned by many much more eloquently than I, I simply wish to voice my opinion. My husband and I enjoy cartel packs, we eagerly wait for our monthly installment in order to purchase one or two, and yes, we occasionally purchase them on the auction house as well. They're fun, they offer some great rewards, and the new ones I quite enjoy the 'lesser' items, such as Jawa Scrap and the experience or social boosts. Right - so at this point, as everyone knows: For 300 cartel coins (250 if they're on sale), you get 6 items, 1 boost, 1 gift of varying types, 1 scrap material, 2 rare items or stronghold decorations and 1 reputation item. The 'rare' can be a single piece of armor, or something like a box of upper armor and so on. In the -new- packs, for how much cartel coins - you only get 2 items. Two. That's it. No more. Not even a boost!? No more scrap material!? Are they so game breaking? I dearly love this game, and I am eagerly anticipating the expansion, but I greatly feel this is a huge injustice to players that don't mind spending a little cash for some fun items. I would really love to know the reason behind removing those simple, hardly worth anything boosts and scrap material from the packs. I can understand the removal of reputation items, no more reputation vendors because (I can only assume) you're wanting people to buy the 'gold', 'silver', and 'bronze' packs instead of getting some of the nicer items from the vendors for cartel market certificates and credits. Hey, it's your game, if you really feel the reputation vendors where that costly to your profits, so be it. I simply can not understand the removal of everything else! And the price tag for these 'new' cartel packs will most likely be exactly the same too, wont they? 300 for normal pricing, 250 when on 'sale'. Really. C'mon gals and guys, really. Throw us a bone here and give an explanation on why. Thank you for reading this.
  6. While most of the changes seem ...interesting, I have a question concerning the following change to packs and I quote: "Two items per pack – Each pack now only has two items in it. One item will be from the bullet above, a mount or some other “bigger” item. The other item slot will be a Grade 5 rare or artifact level Companion gift. " Does this mean that you will be removing the 'Jawa Junk', cartel certificates and the reputation items? If so, why? If we could get a bit more clarification on this change, please, I'd appreciate it. Thank you. EDIT: Errr, I should have read previous posts. Sorry. What they said, x's many.
  7. I apologize if this question has been asked by someone else. To Whom It May Concern; The question I have is as follows: 1: In Shadows Of Revan, in all of the flashpoints and story driven content, you were able to have friends/family join you within instanced missions. Their own progress was (of course) not advanced upon completion of that mission, but there was the option to have them there, watching your story line, and helping you defeat your enemies. Will this style of game play still be available with the new expansion, or will instanced missions be solo participation only? Thank you.
  8. Okay good! Thank you for the response, and it makes perfect sense. I was mostly worried if I went free to play for a little bit, all my credits would disappear (forever!) =) Thank you very much again!!
  9. I apologize if this is not the correct forum to ask this question, after looking through the different titles, I felt this would be the best place. If it is not - I will be happy to repost in a different forum. -- Thank you. Question: Looking over the different Free to Play FAQs versus Subscriber, there is a question I have that isn't answered to my satisfaction, and I was wondering if I might have some assistance in answering it. After a subscriber goes free to play, there is a 350,000 cap on credits - okay, fine and dandy. What happens if the Free To Play person then returns to a paid subscription, do they get their credits back, or are they lost forever? So, lets say if that doesn't make sense, I have a million on my main toon, I go free to play, and it gets dropped down to 350,000 - and then for some mysterious reason I decide to get a subscription again, would the lost credits be returned, or are they lost forever? Thank you, A confused subscriber.
