Ok, this is just creepy. I'm calling the cops...
  1. Oh really? How embarrassing! Is that a change that happened when the game switched to the discipline system or am I just that much of a scrub? (I wasn't kidding when I said it has been a long time) Anyway, thanks for helping me out. I guess I should probably keep to my trooper then.
  2. Hello all, I have not played SWTOR in a while and I really love the game, so I tried to get back into it recently. One of the characters I have been playing thorugh the story for is my sentinel. Now, when I logged into the character, the ability "Slash" was missing from my bar. Not a big deal right? Just go to the ability tab and drag it back in. Well, its not there either. Then maybe it is at the trainer, I know I had to retrain abilites on other characters when I came back. Well, its also not there. As a basic jedi knight ability, I was stunned it wasn't in either place and my next logical step was assuming it had been removed from the game. After skimming some patch notes, I didn't see it was removed. According to my guildmates and some online resources, I know it still in the game. I sent a bug report and all, but I'm just bummed because I have a really rough time playing my sentinel. My combat effectiveness is almost nil because the bread and butter ability is just not there. Any ideas? TL;DR The ability slash is gone. Not in ability window, not at trainer, gone. Sentinel practically useless without it. Help?
  3. Thanks for all of your quick responses. Anyone know if the absence of Mako (and having treek instead) would make a problem because of her not being in the instance/conversation in the chapter 1 story?
  4. I am interested in getting Treek for all of my characters because of her greater level of combat and healing effectiveness, but there is one thing holding me back. With all the vanilla companions they sometimes take part in conversations and have their own quests to go on once you reach certain levels of affection. Some are also essential to the plot of the character, like Mako is to the BH story (at least chapter 1) or Aric Jorgan in the first chapter of the trooper story (I'm trying not to drop even the tiniest of spoilers). Since I don't have Treek I don't know very many things about her in game, and I would like to know more before I put forth the money/creds. I would greatly appreciate if people who already own Treek (even better at max affection) could answer the following: 1. Does Treek participate in conversations? 2. Does Treek have her own affection conversations an/or quests? 3. Do you think Treek takes away from the story dynamic of the vanilla companions? 4. If Treek does take away from the story dynamic, does her combat and healing effectiveness outweigh the loss of the vanilla companions in your oppinion? Thanks in advance to any who might share their insight, Hondo
  5. Ok, I have read over the reply and a couple tings stand out at me. First of all I would like to say that I am not a Sage buff. I was just using the mirror class as a comparison. Second, as stated above, several people have said something along the line of ultimate power is so cool that there isn't any lack of verity. That sort of proves my point. It may be "ultimate power" but in the end it is just that. The same things. Thanks, Hondo-Karr
  6. As it seems to me, the advanced class for sith inquisitor, the sorcerer, is bland. If you look at its abilities the main ones are lightning, lightning, lightning. When I play on my sorcerer, I just don't have fun and as we all know, the point of a game is for entertainment. All I do is just spam lightning. On the jedi sage on the other hand, they at least have differences on the abilities. They have a cool pulse wave, the ability the throw a rock with the force, and their 2 second cast is hurling a bunch of rocks at some one. Again with the sorcerer it is lightning, a short shock of lightning and a 2 second cast of lightning. Don't get my wrong though, I am not just hating on the Inquisitor. I have a sith assassin and He is my current favorite toon. I very much enjoy the assassin. Please, if you took the time to read my opinion, let my know about yours and your experiences. Maybe you could enlighten me to the glory of the sorcerer. And if you want to, go ahead and post a picture of your inquisitor to show off. Thanks, Hondo-Karr
  7. Does anyone know what the BH powertech wears in the swtor trailer?
