  1. To me PvE is only sustainable through constant consistent updates. When Dread Fortress and Dread Palace HM came out I was in one of the top Republic guilds on my server and we cleared both in a timely fashion. Got my main geared and then... rinse repeat the content. Week after week. Same stale fights. PvE is fun in this game, but it just can't stay fresh long enough between the update cycles. I got burned out on these fights and pretty much the only thing left was PvP (and I pretty much came to SWTOR for PvP and stayed through all the initial debacles). Unfortunately my pvp toon under-performed in ranked teams and then there was nothing left. I still enjoy the PvP that SWTOR offers but the population is so bad on Jedi Covenant (and I'm not really willing to pay for server xfers) it doesn't really offer much in the way of competition to play the same 4 or 5 teams over and over again, or to have someone stack the decks in solo queue when one side isn't queing. As a side note... they still haven't even fixed the friends list.
  2. Yah, was nice to get the ranked daily done again lol. 2,500 ranked for each main armoring is steep. 2 down 3 left to go. Then smooth sailing bracers/belts, and then on to optimization fun times.
  3. I can see this I guess, but it's still a system that keeps some players down for a longer period of time, and yet fast forwards the real good players. I like even playing fields for the most part.
  4. Yes, it used to be based on wins back in the day. Do you remember each faction holding hands and trading objectives when Ilum first released? I remember first getting to Ilum and seeing a red player. I was so excited. I started attacking him then my faction started yelling at me to stop because they were trying to get the objective done... So bad....
  5. If there is no one to play to win against... then what's the point. Their decision to do this is what baffles me. It doesn't make sense with the current state of the game. I could really care less if PvE heroes want to queue. At least it gives me a fight at this point. If they wanted to keep the try hard PVE'rs out of ranked then a simple expertise check is all that would be needed to fix this issue.
  6. Just queue up for a WZ then leave it once you get in, or play it. The flag will be gone once you get out. If you get in and out fast it won't be that much of a detriment to the other side and others will fill in the spot.
  7. I'm confused as what kind of behavior Bioware is trying to install on the player base by having these two quests based on winning instead of participation. Right now it just promotes people to leave the queue and never get it completed, and thus have a substantial hurdle in the gearing process. I would like to see these quests go the same way as the regular warzone dailies, and count a win as two points and a lost as one. That way it promotes people to actually play in the ranked scene. Now, I do understand this might lead to a undesirable element queuing to get the quests done, but at this point I don't care as the population and queue times for solo ranked (at least on Jedi Covenant) is horrible at best. A larger amount of participation is needed to make this particular part of the PvP experience playable and fun, and at least maybe this might lead to some fair games being played so that people of the same ELO play against others at the same level.
  8. Sad part about that is that they can't even get the daily done because it requires a win. I know I haven't been able to complete the daily ranked for a few weeks now after everyone ditched the queue. Not because of wins, but because the solo q has dried up a lot. Now if PT would just get his butt online and team ranked that would be great. Cough, cough.
  9. In Damager Per Second length matters not (that's what she said). But yes, the max damage/heals/protection in a match are very dependent on the length of the match. Remember when you could really pad your numbers when you had 8v8 rankeds?!?!
  10. They have this thing called push to talk, and microphone mute.
  11. I play the league of legends, so no Dota foh meh.
  12. Okay, I'll get with you in game on either donut or nermall and we'll join with OC as well as Uncensored it out of the JC scene (sad face )
  13. Imp side more than likely, though I have mirrors for all of my classes.
  14. I would like to get a ranked team together. MY PT tank is ready to rock n roll for the most part. Missing 6 174 pieces, but the rest is Dark Reaver. My friend that usually run an operative healer, so all we need is dps, or if you have someone else that can tank I can dps on my shadow. Whatever works.
  15. I has a tank, and a healer friend, come deeps for meh!
