for pvp would it make any sense to drop power barrier and advanced targeting to pick up power shield for the no interrupt? or is the 5% damage decrease and 30% ac ignore too muchj to lose? again this is just for pvp.

I guess comms is useful, but most comms can be done over reg chat just announcing stuff inc and numbers etc.... the biggest thing premades have over solo que ppl is group composition. 2 or 3 heals and rest dps/tank vs a pug grp that has maybe 1 healer in a blue moon. Of course gear, comms, etc make a diff...just feel the grp make up is the most impt and least contrtollable by the the solo que ppl (how many times have you qued solo and watched a tank call for a healer to protect....and no one answers).

actually the ques have slowed....you just dont see it during normal play times yet. The ques start off popping 24/7 every 5 mins or so....then pop drops a bit and the ques pop a bit more slowly starting in the off hours (3 am server to 9 am round abouts) ...... then the off hours slot starts popping very rarely ( like it is now) every 30 mins to an hr or so.....then the ques dont pop at all during this timeslot and the que time jumps up a bit during normal playing hours (ie 15 mins or so per pop) then more and more....til they do a server combining and the whole process restarts. I guess the f2p did almost the same thing pop wise and maybe yet again theyll do it with a cross server que.....not sure where theyll go from there tho. They can only cover diminishing subs for so long (tho note if you unsub now, you get moved to a f2p sub and will prob be counted as an active sub whether you play or not).

..and that brings us back full circle yet again.... solo que ppl slowly quit and game dies due to lack of subs. Congrats....

AND YES YOU HAVE THE SAME CHANCE OF HAVING A PREMADE ON YOUR TEAM AS YOU DO PLAYING AGAINST ONE...If you make your own premade you have 100% chance of being in a premade...but not 100% chance of winning -------------------------- I see this line over and over again, so i guess premades dont get it. I dont want to play vs a premade and I dont want to play with 1 either (and yes, anytime I que up and get on a team with a premade I leave that grp). Choices being to get rolled or cheese the wz and win...or to be frustrated or bored. Why would I want to cheese my way to an effortless win, that's not any better than being rolled. Solo que ppl want a fair fight. That's all we ask for. Premades obviously dont want that, or theyd be in rated.

yes plz BW listen to this guy. He admits there are tons more solo quers and you need to make solo que separate from grp que or youll lose more subs and your game.....

as an aside I think they should make a solo vs solo que where "solo" = 1 or 2 ppl a 4 man que which is non ranked where 4 man = 3 or 4 ppl queing up with the 3 man getting 1 person from the solo que and a ranked que for 8 man where the que fills in ppl that que up 'solo' (ie que up 5+ and any spots are filled in with rank solo que ppl

Again, I have no problem losing a wz in a hard fought even game. It's your faulty reasoning that says we dont want to lose. ..as more food for thought.. In another post today I shared todays experience.... 6 smashy smashers and 2 ops healer premade at 5 am farming wz que pops....5 AM (in the morning) so they could avoid the 4 man que restrictions due to low pop..... color me confused, but that isnt enjoyable in any form (and dont even try to tell me theyre queing up at time 'looking for a challenge'). As the population goes down, the problem gets worse and they BW will bleed more and more subs as ppl quit faster and faster. In the end, it will be premade vs premade.... it just depends on BW if there is a solo que to go along with it or if it's premade vs premade since that's all that will be left in the pvp portion of the game. edit....This is a text book example of simply being lazy, there is nothing preventing that poster taking the next logical step of grouping up for success. (Don't tell me time, they obviously had enough time to do the full optimized grind while apparently losing the whole way).... as for this uninformed statement of brilliance..... I run a business with 60+ hrs a week varying hours and times a family and other real life commitments that keep me from being able to plan around any form of pvp or pve schedule. I get home around 4 am server time and want to log in for and hr or so of pvp dailies and stuff to relax (note 4 am morning not daytime etc so on). I dont log in at that time to get bent over and reamed repeatedly by a premade team that shouldnt be there in the first place. as for the options there are 2...they fix the way the matching system works (ie premades vs premades solo vs solo) or they lose customer base.....it's just that simple. That's the case for me, and Im sure there are more 40+ ppl in the same boat. Ie the age grp that started playing in college playing uo / eq and have the most free income to spend at this point on gaming. BW you listening?

Ive more or less gotten to this point now...fully geared and optimized and just cant bring myself to make it thru the daily grind of 4 matches vs premades atm. Find myself skipping the daily or not playing pvp for days at a time not getting weeklies done. Guess next step is unsubbing and finding somewhere else to send my cash. Just wonder how many other ppl are out there in the same position and if BW cares at all that theyre bleeding casual subs like they are. They def arent making any kind of noise about acknowledging the problem, much less fixing it.

I guess if calling out premades that are making solo que pvp not fun and ruining the game for the majority sized grp in the game (solo quers) and causing the game to shrink and fail....then I guess youre right.... Tho Id call it a personal attack on the solo que ppl ...plus the fact that they are trying to get or getting around the 4 man limit by playing at low pop times using all fotm makeup adds to it ...but IM not bitter edit to remove the BW post thing since it was on page 3

Was just coming to whine some more while waiting to que for yet another round vs a premade with 6 sweepers and 2 ops heals at 5 am server time. ...and for the premaders that say they just want a challenge...they do this to avoid the 4 man que limitations and get all 8 of their ppl in there so they can have more of a challenge I guess.
