  1. I timed my romance such that i was able to marry both as any true Sith Warrior would. Why would any Sith obey a rule of morality for anything but appearances? As I learned with my second Sith Warrior, they closed the option of marrying both--which seems like a bunch of Republic product managers are controlling the choices. Oh well!
  2. Not a bad story, but it lacked a certain ruthlessness at points which seemed out of character.
  3. Those in charge of communicating the event should have had a plan that was followed the same as the developers who put the time and effort into coding it. A splash news on the web page hardly qualifies--especially for those who have a limited play time. Do you believe many adults who play this game with families actually have time to read everything on your web pages? Do you believe adolescents who need to finish homework before they have a chance to play will fare any better? If I get to play 5-6 hours per week and still pay your fee, I want to play the game, not read about it on the web pages. A mail sent to all players would have gone a long way to ensure people were notified. As for the rewards, many of us were left with these Tokens of Enrichment who did not or could not use them. I am guessing that the tokens will be relics which will never have a use going forward--a shame really. While your intention was to excite us, you left us with a sour taste for all but a few. Did you factor this outcome into your release? And content: hmm, the content, oh, the content...wait, did I miss the content? The content, or lack thereof, leads me to believe we shall see the same kind of releases in the Pay for new content version of the game. A hunt that should span multiple worlds, not just two, would have been a start. Some of us have actually played bounty hunters, and it left us cold. What about this event would inspire me to keep my membership going? Begin with the end in mind.
  4. Fortunate or not, I started on The Bastion server when the game was implemented, but I went on to other pvp servers (all west coast) to create other characters which I also ended up advancing. I am more Imperial on one server, more Republic on another, and then a handful of characters on the last two which allowed me to get the names I wanted with the classes in which I was interested. Then the server transfer announcement happened. All of the pvp servers on west coast were being consolidated into a single server: The Bastion. I actually deleted lower level characters to make room for some of my characters on other pvp servers, but it was not nearly enough. I still have 3 servers mostly or half full of characters, none of which had any alternative for transferring. Not surprisingly, that meant that any character "left behind" was not eligible for transfer rewards. I asked for weeks to have an alternative, but my posts keep getting deleted. I'm not flaming anyone. I am not some kid who needs placating. I am a paying customer who is expecting quality service. I never stopped paying for your service, even when the bug list was long and the players were few. Yet, here I am still with characters "stuck" on servers which could not participate neither in the transfer nor the incentive reward program. For PVP RP options, we had two options: RP or RP PVP. For PVE, there were multiple options as well. What is the issue with PVP servers that the characters had to be consolidated into a single option? Was server space a consideration that you could not have offered us either alternatives or paid options beforehand? Your lack of vision leads me to believe the younger audience who comes and goes whimsically with the inception of new games had the right idea. The coins are a poor attempt to make up for this. Typically any ticket we create generates a canned answer, many times wholly inappropriate for the ticket request. I do not have any expectation of a human response, but I hope you at least read this with the maturity of a company that expects to have a future with people new to Bioware.
  5. I find Knights a little less squishy than Shadows, but Shadows have decent crowd control to make PVE encounters manageable (from Stealth). In PVP, some people play Shadows well, and I am not one of them. My dps is tons higher with similar gear using my sentinel powers. My suggestion is to try both and see which works better for you. I honestly love the style of my Shadow best, but I am much more successful with the Knight in PVP. For PVE, it's not a huge difference unless your companion tanks for you. Companions don't do well vs Champions, and they don't do anything at all vs. World Bosses. Then you want the class that enables you to stay alive and still dish out the necessary dmg to defeat it.
  6. I don't get the complaining. They aren't going to be able to fix everyone at once because they are doing their "test" group now. There could be a lot of discoveries and screw-ups in this process. Already you have transferred people who are not happy for one reason or another. Yet, they will get to everyone once they have a chance to prevent YOUR server or characters from getting the short end of the stick. Seriously, all of the complaining and egocentric temper tantrums are hilarious. Is your behavior this pathetic in the real world? The servers that are being tested right now are still at "light" status, but they have 150+ people on fleet in the early morning and upwards of 1000 in the evening. It's a good model, and it will work for the majority once they have a chance to complete a mature assessment of the change.
