  1. I am a new sniper and I love the class. I have been reading the forums but I must say I am utterly confused. I started putting a table together to try to make sense of things but since I am not an expert on the class I need your help. I was thinking that for rows we could have: MM, Lethality, engineering, and hybrid. For columns we could have, "end-game pve", pvp. "energy efficiency", mobility, "target switching", "sustained DPS", "burst DPS", "rotation complexity", etc. We could then classify each table cell as either: best, good, okay, or worst. How about it experts? Is this doable???
  2. Well, did they just put the final nail in the coffin for engineering sniper viability to end-game PVE content or is there still any hope?
  3. My toon is stuck on Biochem level 427. It does not matter what crew mission I try (off course the green ones, adrenal, impants, medi packs, etc.) I cannot get my level to go any higher. I get the item but not the level increase. The Biochem tutor has nothing left to teach me at that level.

  5. Title says it all. Let's do a survey of the most useless pvp class. I'll start. Marauders and then sorcs. One requires the enemy to stay put while you hit them and the other requires itself to stay put in order to hit. Mic is open. The floor is yours.

New tree is lame. http://pts.swtor-spy.com/skill-tree-calculator/marauder/228/ Dual Wield Mastery is in a level 2 tier and it will be hard to get points in malice and brutality unless you sacrifice dual wield and damage reduction. I hope this is not the tree they'll go with at the end of the PTS trial.
  8. Please Bioware, you'are only hope! Help the SORCS and make them viable again. The proposed changes will not help the class at all. We are the lowest on the DPS, lightest armor, etc., etc., etc. For a class inspired on the Emperor I would expect it to be more powerful. Thanks!
  9. I hope the DEV Guys are reading the forums. The sorcs have been nerfed so much and the DPS is joke. The changes proposed to sorcs are meaningless and will not help the class at all. For a class that is supposedly inspired after the Emperor, Darth Vader would have thrown his lame back side down the vent shaft much sooner. The two things sorcs are still good for is CC'ing and AOE with lightning storm. I wonder when that's going to be nerfed as well. Bioware, is there any hope???? Throw us a bone.

  11. So, according to the 2.0 patch notes..... is cloak of pain getting nerfed???? First our healing ability gets nerfed and now our damage reduction as well?
  12. One wipe last night and I had 29K repair bill. And I had repaired before I went into the operation. I am all BH and all augmented. Seriously, I Iike the game but don't have time to farm credits all day long so that I can do raids/ops. It's not a matter of competence. Sometimes things happen that are out of your control and the ops wipes. Stuff happens. And if you are doing progression, a team may get stuck trying to finish off a boss for weeks. Bioware, please do something..... At least do us the courtesy to respond.
  13. I play assassin and I am having tons of fun. I don't agree with some of the changes proposed. The assassin has very few 30m attacks and now electrocute will go from 30m to 10m. Why? How will the assassin kill the robots in Alderan? I am specifically talking about the robots which take care of the Jedi statues. They are too far away for any other attack. Also, force lift is great for the sorcerer but we don't have anything close to that for the assassin. Whirlwind only lasts 8s and mind trap has a 10m range and a long cooldown. What gives? All being said, kudos on the game. I am loving it.
