  1. Yeah, I totally get that it will take forever to grind all those crates, and I'm willing to do so, I at least want the Knight chest piece. It's good to know that the Voss girl has all the Knight stuff, and that you have the hood down version and that it does exist, and they didn't remove it like some have said. I'll also have to check the fleet vendors, thank you, I might find what I'm looking for there. Below I have a dev post from a thread that talked about the armor changes, I sadly could not find the specific patch notes as of now. "Hey folks, Right now, when you make a brand new Start at 60 character, the armor that your character is wearing is Bind on Legacy. This has allowed players to make characters with the purpose of moving that armor appearance around to other characters. What we have seen on our side is that this has created a large increase in players creating characters just to get the armor sets, and then deleting those characters. This has created a negative impact on the data side. In order address this, we need to make some changes to how that gear works. Starting in Game Update 4.1, the gear that comes with a Start at 60 character will be Bind on Pickup. This change will also affect all existing Start at 60 gear. Now, we know that there is a lot of interest in having those appearance available to characters. So here is a list of where you can attain those appearances in-game in 4.1: Sith Warrior – Alliance Supply Crate Sith Inquisitor - Alliance Supply Crate Imperial Agent – Crafted (Grade 8) Bounty Hunter – Crafted (Grade 8) Jedi Knight - Alliance Supply Crate Jedi Consular – Crafted (Grade 8) Smuggler – Crafted (Grade 8) Trooper – Crafted (Grade 9) Note that all of this gear is currently Faction specific. We are looking into adding non-Faction specific versions in the future. Thanks everyone! -eric"
  2. So I just came back to the game after being unable to play for a while, and I saw the patch notes saying the Level 60 armor (when you use a token and make a boosted level 60 character) is now bind on pick up and is now found in alliance packs as legacy bound. My question is it the exact same armor look, specifically for the Jedi Knight one with the hood down, and are there any specific Alliance packs they are found in? I heard in another thread that the Voss lady on Odessen (Sana-Rey?) is the one whose packs give the knight armor but I don't know for sure, or if all the packs give Knight Armor. I've been grinding Heroics for the packs and I would love to know if i'm wasting my time or not. Thanks
  3. The new expansion is pretty good, especially if you like story content, and the addition of Strongholds and Forged Alliances
  4. Completely agree, I loved the change of pace
  5. Agreed DPS was getting too damn high, so they lowered it. I've actually have no problems taking on NPC's but it could be just me
  6. Yes, because you would want to waste your money, subscription and pre-order, by quitting, because of something you knew would happen in advance and quit 12 hours after the changes were made. But at least youre giving the new planets, missions, and story a try. Oh wait...
  7. It's still going up a tree based on your play style, for better abilities and perks as you level. The elimination of hybrids is sad, yes, but it's better than basically playing two different play styles in one character when the cap goes higher and you have two skill tress filled and 8,000 action bars. It has definitely given the game a newer feel like when I first started playing and that real isn't a bad thing thing when coupled with new stories, planets, and group content
  8. I agree, while Shadow of Revan has a **** ton of cinematics, side mission conversations are infinitely better than text boxes
  9. This is exactly my thought. I logged into my Knight and did my skills, fiddled with the UI for a moment and went on my merry *********** way to Rishi. I didn't think of the backstory or my ability to RP with him as being different, it was just me pressing different buttons at different times. It didn't change my ability to make choices or customize either, I'm not in combat when I create my character, or when make a light/dark side choice in a convo, or when I shop for new armor, so it hasn't dwarfed customization of my character at all
  10. I've heard many people say this and it is that the Force doesn't think in the long term. You get Dark Side points here because you are willingly letting someone die, when you could have stopped it. As for what Obi Wan said, it's that he is not thinking in that moment, or solely focusing on one person, but thinking of the greater good; letting one person die to save thousands of others.
  11. New planet will probably be Yavin IV as one of the messages you receive from Spindral says you are on a moon, and the old Sith temples would be a decent place for the Emperor or Revan to be. My guess for the new species is Togruta just because it's been requested so many times

So it's pretty much confirmed that we are going to Rakata Prime now: http://www.swtor.com/info/news/blog/20140904
  13. JK- Male JC- Female Trooper- Female Smuggler- Male SW- Male SI- Female BH- Female AI- Male
  14. i completely agree about Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan. IMO that was the best casting choice in the Prequels
  15. Though many of the Swtor romances are good IMO, Kira has the best romance in the game by far. Other romances like Vette are good too, but Kira has a very developed personality and feels...more...human I guess. While others have these qualities too, Kira just has something about her that sets her apart, and the scenes for her romance are amazing and some of the dialogue between her and the Knight are great.
