  1. Try ALL Emperor Slots and they remain that way.
  2. Since the patch, when I send out my companions on crew skill missions, the Skill mission window does not properly refresh any longer. For example, I have Scavenging skill window open, send out 2 companions on 2 separate Grade 11 missions. Then I click the next companion but select a different skill such as Slicing. I seen 2 different behaviors based upon level of the current skill -1) if they are the same (Grade 11), then often the Slicing mission log is blank. I have to close it completely and re-open it for the missions to appear. Or 2) if they are different levels, say Slicing is 11 but Archaeology is 9 and I've sent a companion on an Arch grade 9 mission, then go to next companion and select Slicing. The grade 9 missions will show, not the level. If I try to switch to 11 in the Slicing mission window I see no Grade 11 missions. Again, I have to close the window and reopen it. This never happened to me before the 6.1.1 patch. Thanks
  3. I just recently came back myself after being away for... 4 or 5 years. I left after the Scum and Villainy expansion. Being 56 and having what sounds like a Stronghold, I'd say you are ready for the Revan storyline, then continue on through the knights of fallen empire and to Onslaught. I'd recommend going to your ship and fleet. I don't remember exactly where I picked it up, but there was a Purple quest either in my log or I picked up from a quest giver. Sorry I don't recall exact location, but I'm fairly certain it was on Fleet. I must say, I'm really enjoying the changes they have made over the last few years. Welcome back and I hope you enjoy!
  4. /Agree. I took a few months off earlier this year and when I came back, the appeal and enjoyment I first experienced at Beta over this game came back. I'm still enjoying the content (old and new) after the last months of playing again. OP - You have a lot of content to yet devour, especially if you get into the Operations. Some great story content there, and as far as gearing, its become easier really. When you hit 55 you can craft or buy 66 purple Mods fairly cheaply, or even find some blue 66 mods off items in the CZ daily area or off the GTN. Then, go to Oricon and do the story line quests there and end up with a near full set of purple 66 gear which is more than enough to get you into the operations starting with TFB (Terror from Beyond) and SnV (Scum and Villany) story modes. With the weekly rewards for those, its easy to find a 16M SM group and there are some nice rewards plus the Arkanian gear for 69 mods + bonus set.
  5. This is definitely true to an extent. Many in my guild are what you'd call casual players. They get on a couple times a week at most, have maybe 2-3 toons but only will run OPs on 1. So, in the course of 2-3 nights of playing during the week its completely possible to knock out most of the weekly content which grant Elite and Ultimate comms. Last weekend we did the Classic OPs weekly, we completed Dread Fortress (didn't have time for Dread Palace), did TFB, SNV, and TC; all in 16M for the Ultimate comms. By doing this all of us were capped on weekly for Ultimate and Elite comms, plus had at least 2 quests turned in but not accepted (they were Pending until Tuesday reset) so as not to lose comms. Tuesday after reset I had 44 Elites and 15 Ultimates, once I accepted my pending items. Means I will probably cap again this week and have to wait to accept 2 of my turned in quest rewards. Please BW, just up the cap 50-75 comms!
  6. I've not been a fan of the animal mounts because they are not really to scale, except for the Taun Taun. I do like the Taun Tauns. I'd like to see a Bantha mount, but only if they were able to actually make it more to scale than the others. The other mounts just seem lacking because of the scale they used.
  7. The thread is so much like those going on about how overpriced items are on the CM, and people throwing around their "if you don't like it, don't buy it." comments. This is no different. If you don't like an item or event introduced into the game, don't participate. Nothing is being forced upon you, therefore, any breakage of your "immersion" is in your mind only. Even the Galactic Party Bomb, Party Instigator, and Music Therapy Probe allow you to not be affected. Move to disrupt its effect, mount up, sit down (or activate a chair emote) or move outside its radius and you are no longer affected. There is an option to opt out of the affect, and I don't see how click on a button to mount or move yourself out of radius is any different than clicking a button to opt out.
  8. Does he drop more masks based on the number of stacks of Dreadful Essence? I've only ever done him on 1-2 stacks, which drops just 1 mask.
  9. I agree with you to a point. Most of the craftable stuff is old and has been in the game since release, and its sad crafters don't get more than barrles/hilts, armorings, mods, enhancements and augments. However, that said, there still are a few pieces of craftable gear which are better than anything out on the CM. In particular, I've not seen many people wear them, but I love the Gunslinger's Headgear which I've only seen as crafted by Armormech. I'd like to see them allow us to take Green drop items in game and be able to learn schematcis for them. There are still some awesome and unique looking armor and weapons you only see as drops that would be nice moddable gear.
  10. I'd not expect those armor sets to make it back into game (not even in the CM) unless they put the look into a new armor set. The reason they removed them from the game had to do with the simple fact the Set Bonuses were tied to the armor piece NOT the Armoring mod. You could pull out the Armoring mod, place in another moddable piece of gear but wouldn't retain the set bonus. Responding to player feedback they started to place the set bonus on the armoring mod in the Campaign gear (which are currently on Classic Comm vendor) and have done so going forward.
  11. No one should be capped at 50 any longer, not with the full release of RotCH to even F2P players. The Classic Gear is really only there for look I think, even tho its the Campaign gear only.
  12. Actually, the system is already set in such a way where you can easily obtain gear for the next "level" of content. In fact, its a LOT easier now than it has been in the past. For example: At launch, when you got to 50 you had to do dailies on Belsavis and Ilum to get 48-50 mods just to get into the first HM FPs so you could obtain gear with only 51/53 mods! As it stands now, you can hit 50 and by saving Planetary comms from rewards for planet quests, class quests, and doing daily normal FPs you can easily obtain 58 mods! These are mods, before the level increase, that you could only obtain Rakata gear from the first HM OPs (EV and KP). The Classic Comm vendors now allow you to obtain 61 mods, which if you are in a group fully decked out in 61s you should be able to faceroll HM EV and KP, not to mention the lvl 50 HM FPs. The level 55 HM FPs can be a bit tough in 61s, but as you mentioned you can get Basic Comms from dailies in Black Hole, Section X, CZ and now Oricon which will give you 69 gear. This is MORE than enough for HM FPs, and is what you get from Story Mode OPs (TFB and SnV). The 69 gear sets you up for HM OPs for SnV and TFB. You also stated you like to be prepared and plan, and that is your playstyle. I respect that and its needed for running the harder content; however, as others have said it seems some people like to be overgeared and this game now makes that the norm for most of the content. Being Overgeared makes it easier and many people seem to like easy. Yes, classic comms are pretty much useless unless you have a toon or two with hundreds of them you can buy gear and send to a new 50 alt through legacy gear (I recently did this). The Basic Comms you get from the daily planets is far superior as its now 69 mods.
  13. What else would you expect? The space battles in the SW movies, which are the basis for this game, have SOUND! There is no sound in space, however, its there in the SW universe. This mechanic seems fitting that philosophy that in Space everything is the same as in a planet's atmosphere. One question I have about GS - do the ships have an escape hatch so you can eject? And do you get a parachute?
  14. It's this "deal with it" attitude which can rob the enjoyment from MMOs (and events like this) for many people. I think you even miss the point of the OPs post. Its not a matter of the help, its a matter of not respecting what the OP is attempting to accomplish. I'd be just as upset if I were on a Kingpin I needed to capture for the achievement, and someone came along, had to wait on me so decided to "help" me and killed the Kingpin thus completely negating my ability to Capture. This would now make it so I can't take out the Kingpin until the next event, a MONTH away. Since they changed it so you can only do 1 Kingpin a week per character, it can make it a rather large inconvenience for a player. Deal with it, you might say. The OP and no other players shouldn't have to deal with other player's inconsiderate and impatient behavior. If you want to help someone, have the courtesy to ask if they want help and if its a capture or kill before helping. OP - best advice I can give is watch for others approaching and try to quickly tell them to not help or what your intentions are. I think you'll find most, if you tell them its a capture and not a kill, will act accordingly.
  15. Fastest way to get Legacy is to get a couple of toons to 55 and then do dailies, FPs, etc. Items that would normally give XP if leveling will not give Legacy XP. Leveling lower level characters will also give more legacy xp as well.
