  1. It's all well and good until you solo queue against a balanced and geared premade, farming in unrankeds (regardless of class). Yes, it's a "better collection of players", but it's literally more efficient to simply leave immediately and requeue.
  2. Ilum had problems, but also had potential. Solo ganking, small groups, and epic zergs all had their place. It's truly disappointing, and kind of shocking they simply gave up and removed a major feature like this from the game. Now I spend my days in endless warzones, being rolled by premades.
  3. Crafting nodes are too complicated for me and disturb my immersion.
  4. That's me pretty much. I didn't actually know about the indefinite cartel grant, thought it was just a speeder and some pets that they got.
  5. Maybe they cast him because of his acting skills rather than his race. Casting unknowns was a good choice.
  6. This is already in the game, it's called PvE.
  7. You get 3 per batch, for the Exotech stims at least. I don't know about medpacs/adrenals.
  8. I think we have different definitions of PvP and competition. World PvP is never exactly balanced or "fair". RP and casual, not necessarily. Making gank groups, counter gank groups, ops zergs, counter ops to control the region, and blasting heads off. Yes, the other side may have more numbers, so you adjust your tactic, or get more. That is where the competition in world PvP is. Regardless, there is room for both exactly balanced and world free for all in this game.
  9. The entire point of World PvP is competition. What is there to pretend? Get points, control areas for more points, kill others in the process. As mentioned it's being redesigned so it's actually viable compared to warzones, but the idea does have much more potential.
  10. World PvP has far more potential than warzones could ever be. While Ilum (and Outlaw's) had it's problems, the variety of gank groups, small groups, and ops colliding in a massive war was epic. You "win" by killing people. Does there need to be a point total? Does there need to be a thing that pops up and says you've won, here's your prize!
  11. I have a Battlemaster Blaster Pistol and a Battlemaster Shotgun, and I'm almost at the point where I can get a War Hero upgrade for one of them. I'd like to maximize the damage on Back Blast and Shoot First. I realize these skills use the shotgun animation, but I've seen people say the damage is solely from the shotgun stats or solely from mainhand stats, or both, and can't seem to find a definitive answer. So, which will be the best upgrade?
  12. Warzones are fun. PvE is ok. Space combat is ok (for what it is). I just want quality open world PvP and I'll be happy.
  13. My scoundrel can, but typically only with cunning stim, power relic, and adrenal on a light armor class.
  14. It's not going to be different on any other class similarly undergeared. You're not going to win any 1v1s yet. With the right gear, I feel our burst damage can be exceptionally good. Regardless, you're a stealther, and you can choose your battles. You don't have to engage if you're not sure you will win! When playing for objectives, you're armed with all kinds of slows, stuns, DoTs, and other fun tricks to annoy and delay the enemy if you can't outright kill them. Pop some heals on allies! Call in a freighter flyby from distance!
