The primary reason there are only a handful of guilds that have cleared HM and why topics like this generate so many polarized responses is simple: this game may have a healthy amount of subs and came back from the dead with the F2P model, but the player base that raids is TINY. Problem is less that things are too easy/too hard, its that the pool of non-terrible players that like to raid isn't large.
  2. This game has a tiny PvE community, which is a shame. But it has been said for over 2 years now - SWTOR didn't really attract hard core MMO fans, it attracted Star Wars fans. That's why the community is so small, that's why the competition at the top is tiny, and that's why stuff has been and will continue to be cleared so quickly. Let's not even get started on PTS vs. how other games test content. I've been playing Wildstar since private beta and have literally played that game since February. It's a hard core game, a huge grind, and feels extremely rewarding. The problem is - we'll never get that with SWTOR in my opinion. The development team is tiny and this summer in particular is going to be extremely rough with no new *real* content until probably around October. Sad day, and I'm sorry for all the guilds that aren't even able to complete the content due to server issues. Hopefully Reckoning rethinks their wanting to "back out" and is able to jump in tomorrow.   3. Think it means it's going to apply the buff quicker upon entering. There were times that a ball would pop a second after someone entered the shield but that person would die because the shield buff hadn't been applied yet.

  5. Thank you for posting this but I am not sure who you are referring to having posted our times. Congrats to our friends @ 7Stuck and Reckoning - Trublood & Jennifer were great sports the last couple nights in our stream. Hopefully we knock Brontes out soon/before any potential nerfs.
  6. Killed Brontes after this, one of the Hands after the 6 Finger phase had full health. Additionally, one of the Hands in the final phase was at full health as well. Doubt it's working as intended but wasn't too difficult to work around.
  7. I'd have loved it if Malgus wasn't dead. Could see Marr being an eventual raid boss.
  8. This mechanic can be cheesed pretty easily. The first Beam is always at the entrance where you come in, so just stay out of that hallway. After that he bounces between the other hallways. He always (at least in two weeks of kills) goes to an opposite one. All you have to do is round the same corner back and forth.
  9. If you think the KD gets to 21 stacks because of a lack of DPS and not on purpose then you don't understand how that fight works at all. I'd suggest you look at what Brontes is at during that transition. It's okay though, glad you got to watch our stream before your kills and ride our coattails.
  10. There is a graphic, it looks like a line going from the player to the boss. If you have it, run to the boss and it drops off. You're doing the fight wrong.
